Love this sound mod Fifo. :thumbsup: Any chance you could extend the rev range up to 8000? I would like to use it on the caterham as its far closer than the TDU one. It also sounds a lot like the car in my avatar which is a ford based kit.

Ozz, I have all the correct components but for some reason it keeps reporting corruption errors when unpacking, the bit torrent is currently quoting over a week to complete the download, which to be fair is a bit of a joke. The megaupload site delivered all the files with no problems but those are the ones it won't unpack without error messages. I will try the megadownload site again later just in case the files get pulled from a different mirror. Oh for a friendly FTP site lol.... EDIT torrent 100% complete but as Ozz said earlier you need the first file (0) from the megaupload site to get it started off. I will leave it to seed on my laptop for a while. Its the second torrent link that worked, the other one is at 99.7 % also as described by someone as an issue earlier. Off to install it on the PC now. Of course it always helps to get the latest version of winrar BEFORE you start complaining of corrupt downloads etc... I'll get me coat.

I have a similar problem. Downloaded 0 - 12 and saved in the same directory, opened the first one with winrar and it returns the message 'the archive is corrupt'.(2882 times) Re-downloaded all files and the same message appears. from the progress bar it seems to be FrontEnd and FX and areas up to 8-7-6-1.bnk, after that it seems to extract OK. I don't have a program for the bit torrent but it appears I may have to go find one. I have downloaded the third patch and extraction was perfect along with the light snowy roads, also perfect. Maybe the host for the 0-12 files is corrupted in some way? I am going to try various methods and if I succeed will post back a result. EDIT Currently adding files 01-12 to the original archive to see if that will work. RESULT- fail... down to my ineptitude this method doesn't work. Checking the files that have extracted in the \Euro\Bnk\level\Hawaii folder shows two directories (area-8 and Area-9) and a Hawaii.bnk file I would guess this means that areas 0-7 are corrupt in some way. (or have been corrupted at download source) EDIT 23 I have now tried this operation on a different PC and it fails in exactly the same way. I am therefore assuming the source is corrupt and not the end user ! No blame on anyone here and full credit to the OP for all his hard work, I'm off to try and find a clean source via bit torrent. Again, will post back results. PS I am not a noob either as I have been programming computers since before they invented the PC....:o

I put this mod on the A6 Audi, 4WD for the win, goes anywhere. Love the whole look of the RRV and its a damn good likeness IMHO. Needs the 'right' sound mod 4.4L V8 through straight pipes. We need a Bowler wildcat in TDU2 and NOT to instantly reset when it flips past 60 degrees. (my pet hate that reset thing when you crash/roll/tip over)

I have never been so happy to be a PC player until I read this thread. BUT... the same applies on the PC with the S7.... well some of them.

Complete with bubble arches and 10x13 steels... has to go on the exige or the elise....right physics rule. :thumbsup:

I will in fact organise a cruise specifically for cossie drivers on thursday 19-11-09 at 8pm GMT. Mental boyracer style driving compusory... I'm off to experiment then, cheers Gusty. EDIT Found the dealers top of the island, bought a coupe, but I still only have two levels of tune. Although that does up it to a group C car, same as the one I have modded already. Back to the dealers to buy a convertible, leave the dealers, map to the tuners... game locks, pc locks, reset. wait ten minutes for reboot.... The convertible is also only available to stage 2, upgrading it to a group D. I'm now assuming I made a mistake and didn't manage to tune the first car to stage 3 at all. Anybody else had the same problem or managed to stage 3 any of the Mustang based Saleen's?

+1... Fan of the original car. The lotus Espirit is the obvious base for it. Goooo on ... bet it only goes 87mph though...

First up.. Absolutely love the patch. I am having a better game experience for installing your work. Top marks. My only problem that I know of is with the mustang coupe. I bought a new mustang to tune it to lvl 3 saleen spec, prior to modding to 2008 shelby, took it to the tuners and the only option it will give me is ford. Now I did tune a coupe before the patch and sold it, am I being stoopid and missing a trick when buying the car or has the shift in dealer organization messed with my ability to tune the mustang to saleen spec? Thoroughly confused ...:confused: Any help you can give is (as always) greatly appreciated. Your'e both heroes for this and all the other work you have done on bettering this game.:thumbsup:

All multiplayer races can be run in H mode. If you choose to test the route of a multiplayer race you can run a replay when finished.

Going to get ver 1.1 now... Nice work Skepsis. I found my sound system made ver 1 sound a bit erm..fluffy but it affects quite a few of the cars on my PC probably because I am still using onboard sound.

1000 miles and counting, This mod is one of my personal favourites. 10/10 And now theres a ver 1.1.... awesome. I too use the Shelby prototype wheels but find them a little on the small side. The weismann rims modded for the ford GT (black centres and bigger offset I think) look good in the light but go very dark really quickly so still experimenting with rims.

BUMP I am getting the same message on my T60 lenovo laptop and a quad core game spec PC. I have a spotless original disk which works fine in my main PC. The other two computers have all required criteria fulfilled but still this infernal message and lack of playability. I have mailed the report to securom and all i got back was an automated e-mail (to which i have replied) and eagerly await their excuse.. Anybody got any other ideas?

I will be able to help between 29th june and 5th july from 7pm BST to 12midnight BST. Happy to run a dummy from my laptop as I too am on 99%. No it doesn't work on bikes, I still can't paint mine but would like to if anybody can tell me how?

Mod works magic on the cars, is there an easy way to do the bikes too?
