I don't have any this time around. I found the gears so close as to be useless.

So far, all I see is 'Most wanted' really. I LIKED Most Wanted, (can't seem to find a PC version anywhere.) but really don't need two versions.:lol::lol: And I recently got Undercover and must say, it's bloody awful. Summation? Looking forward to TDU2.

Did I miss something or does a lot of the hype say you basicallyhave to buy (with cash) all the content? To play, you have to upgrade to progress? And pay for it?

That could be just it as I had to wipe my hard drive a while back and never re-installed the megapak as it was still 'there', but maybe................... I'll re-install and see. Weird thing is it only started doing this yesterday and I been using it all along since the HDD wipe with no problems. I also didn't think the first time, the car was IN the megapak, but now can't remember which it was. Thanks for the info, it's worth a shot! EDIT: Well, I guess I'll know soon enough. Deleted entire install, did registry clean and started from scratch. Fingers crossed.........

I'm assuming this has something to do with the server going down but it's a new one in the game and it's insane! I lost my profile because of it yesterday and just lost my new one. Seems to be, if I buy a car after the server went down then the profile won't load next time and it's buggered because it loads, gives this message and disconnects. LOVELY!! Anyone else get this? I wonder what happened for this to start all of a sudden? It seemed lately the server was a lot more reliable. Now it's worse then ever. At least before, it was just down, now it's destroying save games. The sad part, is all this crap with the servers has lost a lot of potential customers for TDU2. I know a few forum,s I hang out at where members have said they gave up on TDU due to the servers and have no interntion of buying TDU2 because of it. Is it really that hard for them to fix the servers?

It's probably not you. It's them. I been having problems the last two days and even when on yesterday was booted off and it destroyed my savegame. Started a new one and just got the same message now, 'downloaded content not saved' or some such. Hope it don't destroy my profile AGAIN. It's getting old! I thought the servers were better lately? Back to this again? Anyways, it's not you, it's 'them'. Just keep trying and hope they get it right again soon. This is normal. And Brother, your English is just fine!

I got them all.:thumbsup: I love S.A. and had a riot on my PS2 version, but I find my controller is wonky with the PC version.

My answerr is that it's dependent on your budget. If it's not a huge expense to you, then by all means get it.

Yup. I just had to start over myself due to a HDD wipe. I got the Trans Am and am just driving the roads. heh. Only real 'plan' at this point is get the paintshop so I can get rid of the white, but other then that? Just having fun, listening to tunes, lugging down the 455 in 3rd and 4rth and driving.

Heeheehee, the "clicjk". I remember so mamy wanting to get rid of it (The no click mod), yet myself, I liked it. Some in the comunity wonder if the lack of sequential may somehow make the shifter last longer. IE: loss of reverse. It's a common fault with the G-25. Mine lost reverse less then a week after I got it. I "solved" it by getting an SST shifter but I also had already known it would happen eventually. It'll be interesting as time goes on to see if this was solved.

Intel Q6600 2.4 O/C'd to 3.05. I had it at 3.10 until TDU started crashing it. haha. Lowered it to 3.05 and now stable again.

Maybe. I guess if you used 3 & 4 for up and down but would have to reconfigure whenever using it.

I don't see the Fanatec as much competition as it seems it's taking a while to catch on beyond "vdeo games", though the good there is that it IS the only real competition for the G-25/7. I started with a used DFP and when I got my G-25 got what the hype was about. But I wonder now if future buyers of the G-27 will be told by their advisors to find a left over G-25 or buy a used one. Though I also looked for a used G-25 when I bought mine and found people were asking more for a used one then I could buy a new one for!! And yes, the Frexx is in a whole different league. So far, I'm not so sure I'd get one if HAD the cash as I haven't seen a real review yet. Last videos they had it was squealing and sounding like someone was killing birds in it! So, for the money, the G-27 and Fanatec are IT. Above that is ARC's G25-E but they're still starting out and working on shipping etc. Above THAT of course is the Frexx, but again, EXTREMELY expensive and dealing with them could be interesting as I suspect from their site, they may or may not speak a lot of English..
