Well, here is a lesson, never bê over confident of your skills hehe. Im aware im a very good cyclist, i have 12 years or more of daily bike riding, and i do go on 80km trips whenever im bored,have around 2500 - 3000km clocked since 2 years ago, the point is im a very confident and experient bike rider. Today, while still on our driveway, Thought id brake late and Hard before reaching the gate, im used to the bike when the roads wet and i have great tires for wet conditions, and My tires and brakes were dry, however the pavement hás a bit if Moss, and My overconridence Led me to skid rather than locking the front wheel and raising the rear as i expected. Needless to say it didnt go as i planned and i slid with My Back and knees on the pavement and hit My jaw on a big, heavy clay jar where we have a huge plant. Só i screwed myself a bit due to overconfidence, só ive learnt we need to be careful at all times, especially when we ré confident, since we wont expect mistakes to happen when They do. Só careful yall whenever on the road, accidents hapen when You think You vê got things handled. Sorry for tyos but typing on My tablet xD

Perfectly put tom. Modern diesels are able to give a huge smile if youbwant spirited driving, and in car They dont sound tractorish at all, but ofc They wont sound delightful if You opt for a convertible xD

imho you'll feel better inside an A6/A7 than inside a 5 series for 1 thing only..build quality. It's an issue with bmws, and they need to get around it. The 4 series and 3 series are shameful, the 5 series is better but after a few months it will have some rattles. Also about diesels: Throttle delay: nearly nuked with bi turbos, and if you get the chance to try a tri turbo it shouldn't be there at all^^ Sound: A 4 cyl diesel will never sound a charm, but if you go for 6 cyls, specially now with piezzo injectors, they do put out good sounds! Torque: this is what makes me enjoy diesel, no need for high rpms to get pulled against the seat while accelerating, power's there when you need it. Petrols have their own advantages too but it really comes down to your driving style I guess. I'm not a speeder, nor do I like to be in a car and hear nothing but a revving engine, so a diesel suits me fine because I do enjoy going out of a corner and feeling the car pull without having to be at high rpms etc xD It's just not clever to say petrol's the best, or diesel's the best. It all comes down to what rocks your boat the best, and what gives you the biggest smile while driving.

I'm fine with both fuels, each have their own advantages. pretty curious to drive a petrol car haha

Doesn't change the fact that he made that car sound like a fartcan ^^

That sounds horrible xD Pretty much prefered the stock sound, feels more refined, specially because you're not going to use an A6 3.0 TDi as a trackday car so why the fart can sound? xD

For as long as people are closed minded and keep basing their thoughts on 80's diesel engines, the world shall not change! "Technology evolves fast, mentalities don't!" Also Maddog, don't know about the dealer you're getting it from, but we stopped washing our car, we phone the salesman, he picks it up from us, and for 18€, within little hours our car is all washed, outside and inside, vacuumed, dusted out, waxed, looks just like new once it returns to us :p

Some say the shifter gets more game than the driver....:cheeky:

I had a GTX550 Ti some years ago, although it wasn't top end, it let me play at 1440*900 crysis 2 maxed out^^

Didn't buy it yet, but I might be minutes away from ordering it since the tablet should arrive tomorrow^^

I must intervene, pardon me :p But samsung phones are not really the best in terms of materials ^^ My xperia arc s feels better than my mum's newer S2. Samsung has had some negative critics on the materials they have been using, they improved with the S4 though. A mate went from a S2 to a Z1, which feels just the same as the Z in your hand, and he can't stop blabbering about how premium it feels next to a samsung^^ He says he went sony fanboy xD. But imho samsungs are not that good in terms of materals.
