  1. The AC 289 camera is still normal? Also, Veyron SS has 1183 hp and 1500 Nm of torque. Not 1480 and 1780.
  2. That color is clearly a dark green metallic. And you're colorblind Ry. Edit: Jinx! I said it first.
  3. Guys, this post is to explain why this next fix, update is taking longer. First of all, it sure is larger than most people might think. I will add a few extra cars, like, 3 Volvos, Saturn Sky, Pontiac GTO 2004, another Civic, like the stock version of the Mugen Civic, and some others. But, what has been taking longer is, since the pack got released, i tried to create a new profile and ended up creating a new game in my fully-done profile. As a result, i lost it all, includding my access to all shops in the island and etc. Asked a friend to help me and now i got a profile, "almost" done. Sorry for the incovenience, but i pulled "a blonde" when i deleted my profile. It happens.
  4. To make it work with the patch i made, you'd need to merge both DB.bnk manually, am i right? Also add the DB resources...
  5. Rename the 4C files as Alfa_155. Replace it in the TDU folders. In TDU PE, you can edit the physics and the name and the brand of the vehicle. Difference is, the brand you must choose from the list it has in TDU PE. Just click on the box and the list will pop up. Now, the rest of the name, you can write whatever you feel like and it will work. So, yes, you can change the brand, you can't add a brand that's not already on the list though. Porsche is on the list, so it should work fine. --- Post Updated --- And that is a bug indeed. The original GT500 should be an Eleonor. Thanks. Hahaha.
  6. Replace the DB.bnk you have from the Backup. Export the Pontiac GTO in TDU PE. Put back the modded DB.bnk, import the Pontiac GTO in TDU PE.
  7. I really don't know Tomo. Your computer really should run it, as it clearly is better than my laptop. You should try what Angie said though. -----xxxx----- To replace any car in the patch is the same way you always did. The 155 has it's own files, called Alfa_155.bnk. To edit the name, i recommend you to use TDU PE, because other than the brand, you can write whatever name you want. In TDU Modding Tools you're limited to it's list. And yes, the way to add more custom cars is the same of adding any other new vehicle in the game. The only time a Custom Car saves when creating a new car is set the physics properlly, as they all have generic physics so you edit as you like, but all the rest is the same process. Plus, keep in mind that TDU has a limited space, which is the Car Dealers. So, yes, the game has a car number limit to be added. Unless i start doing non-sense things like, you buy a Volvo, tune it, and it turns into a Porsche.
  8. Yes you can replace RUF's that way. The way the Custom Cars work is the same as replace any other vehicle in TDU. And next "fix" might take longer, as i need to add a new car (Saturn Sky). Maybe more... :susp:
  9. Tomo, that is a problem with your own computer. My laptop, which is not that great can run it just fine and never seen such fps drop. With all the mods. As i am not a computer expert, i can't help you with that, but one thing i am sure, it's your computer that seems to have a problem. Maybe processing. Check your RAM, and see if it's not being used way too much. My laptop has 4Gb and can run it. Edit: Pontiac GTO was removed because TDU's was literally horrible made. It was ugly and nothing like a real GTO.
  10. I won't replace it back. I will just add it, like i would with a new car. It is just easier.
  11. That file is being used by the RX-7, which was added from a previous pack.
  12. I didn't know that it was necessary. As courier missions are gone after you actually do them. So i did replace it with the Mazda MX-5, as i thought nobody would really care about a Saturn Sky. And the Sky was not a concept, it was a production car, based on Opel GT, which shares the platform with Pontiac Solstice. But ok, the car is necessary in order to complete the game, it will be bring back soon. That was the best camera i could find for the Z06 C5.
  13. Really? Poop. Seems like i will need to put the Saturn Sky again in the game. :/ For an emergency, just change the brand of any car in TDU PE to Saturn and it should do the trick. Edit: -off topic- I think i saw you in the game Angie, i've made a new profile, it's DarkAvengerGirl. (It's an old profile actually, that i just started a new game in it.)
  14. It's ok. :D And nah, nobody is noob just because they don't know that. I only learned by testing.
  15. The massive top speed is due the "Overdrive Gear". The car may show a top speed of 460, but once you drive it, it will top way below such speed. What is an overdrive gear? Take the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 for example, it has a 6-speed gearbox and a real top speed of around 315km/h. Although, it reaches all those 315km/h in 5th gear, not 6th. Once you shift up to 6th, which has a very long gear ratio, the car won't be able to accelerate. In this case, the 6th gear is an overdrive gear, meant to be used at crusing speeds, like, 100km/h, so you drop the rpm at like 1300rpm and save fuel. If i don't set the top speed high like that, TDU won't understand the overdrive gear, and the car will shift through it's gears way too fast, like, a Z06 would shift to 6th gear at around 190km/h, when it should do after at least 315km/h. So, even though some cars shows a big top speed, you can be relaxed that the car won't be able to acheive such top speed. Now, tune lvl 3. It changes from car to car, some cars have indeed massive tunings, because they're very "tune-able" cars in real life. It's well known that a Supra engine (2JZ-GTE) can pump over 800hp without much effort. And that is what i tried to replicate. Me, as a Gran Turismo player, tried to replicate what you could do and how much power you could make in those cars. The result sometimes was very accurate, like the 630hp you can get out of a Skyline R32. The tuner slots are not "unused", i've made the kit 1 being the one that modificate the cars for a reason. This reason is, you first need to modificate your vehicle, and then you bring it back inside the tune shop, and you can increase it's power. So you can also get a Celica Rally Car with 270hp, 300andsomething hp and also 400hp. It is really up to you and how you want to play the game. If i make the rally version being the last one, it would be locked and wouldn't be able to improve. So, all your problems are not really problems, they all have a porpouse, and i don't mind explaining, in case you and someone else doesn't understand it. :) Edit: The doors and windows is a 3D model issue, that is up to the modder who actually made the cars, all i've done was put the cars in the game and made them work. Anything related to the 3D models, like, doors, windows, wings and etc, i can't fix as i am not a car modder. Sorry.
  16. First you need to know is, it's not an easy or fast process. But i will try to explain. You will need these programs first, in order to make it all work. TDU Modding Tools TDU UT TDU PE Now, every car in TDU, has to be listed in CarPhysicsData.db. The stock one and the tuned. So, how do you make them work like that? First thing is extract the CarPacks.db from your DB.bnk. Open Modding Tools, then go to File Browser, click Database -> then DB.bnk -> CarPacks.db -> extract to... Once the CarPacks.db is extracted, you must drag it to TDUUT.exe, and it will be transformed into a notepad file, which you can edit. In the notepad, you will find many codes like this: 606298799;9643703;57356917;5973697;200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18;200300403;92900264;61085282;180000;3,9;120;23;200300406;92900264;61085282;450000;3,2;120;23; Each number means something, and they're divided by the ; mark. Miss one ; and your game will crash. First number, is the car number (In CarPhysicsData). The car that will get in the tuning shop. Second number is the brand that it will be tuned. In the R34 case, that number is the number that is linked to Mine's. The third number is useless, just leave it as it is. Forth number is which tuning shop it will use, Forza Tuner or British Specialist, for example. Now, there is where the magic happens. 5th number sequence, is which aftermarket pack will be the 1st tune choice. Each aftermarket pack tells how much the power will increase, weight will be reduced and etc... 6th number is also useless, i haven't learned how to use them yet. 7th number is where you put the car number you want it to become. (61085282) is a number that keeps the car as it is, but if you replace it with another number, the same number from other car, found in the CarPhysicsData, when you tune, it will be transformed into that one. 8th number is price 9th, 10th and 11th are stats for the game to show the little bars, like 0-60 times, braking feet and handling. After that, they just repeat the 5th number and on, because that would be stage 2, and stage 3 of tuning. Marking it with colors: Car number in CarPhysicsData. 606298799;9643703;57356917;5973697;200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18;200300403;92900264;61085282;180000;3,9;120;23;200300406;92900264;61085282;450000;3,2;120;23; Tune brand - Spoon, Mine's, TRD, AMG, Mugen... 606298799;9643703;57356917;5973697;200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18;200300403;92900264;61085282;180000;3,9;120;23;200300406;92900264;61085282;450000;3,2;120;23; Nothing. Just leave it as it is. 606298799;9643703;57356917;5973697;200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18;200300403;92900264;61085282;180000;3,9;120;23;200300406;92900264;61085282;450000;3,2;120;23; Tune shop - Forza Tuner, Japan Auto parts, etc. 606298799;9643703;57356917;5973697;200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18;200300403;92900264;61085282;180000;3,9;120;23;200300406;92900264;61085282;450000;3,2;120;23; Tune Pack 1 606298799;9643703;57356917;5973697;200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18;200300403;92900264;61085282;180000;3,9;120;23;200300406;92900264;61085282;450000;3,2;120;23; Tune Pack 2 606298799;9643703;57356917;5973697;200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18;200300403;92900264;61085282;180000;3,9;120;23;200300406;92900264;61085282;450000;3,2;120;23; Tune Pack 3 606298799;9643703;57356917;5973697;200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18;200300403;92900264;61085282;180000;3,9;120;23;200300406;92900264;61085282;450000;3,2;120;23; Now, inside each tuning pack there is: Aftermarket pack number (Found in Aftermarketpack.db) 200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18 I don't know how to use, just left it as it is. 200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18 Number you replace if you want a car to be changed when tuned. 200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18 Tune pack price 200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18 How the 0-60 will be if you tune 200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18 How much feet it will use for braking after you tune 200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18 How much will be the handling value after you tune 200300401;92900264;61085282;100000;4,3;140;18 After you've edited all that, save the file, drag this notepad file again to TDUUT.exe, it will be named then: Carpacks.db.hex.db Open Modding Tools -> File Browser -> Database -> DB.bnk -> CarPacks.db -> Replace -> Keep name -> Choose the Carpacks.db.hex.db And voilá. You've done it. Sounds complicated, but once you get the process and how to do it, you can do it quickly.
  17. It is only the exterior files. Because that happens with incoherence between max rpm and btqr files. btqr files are inside the vehicle exterior.bnk, which is the power/torque curve. That is made by the modder who made the car. And sometimes, they do not edit the btqr. And to save your own physics, there is a easier way, just press ctrl+e in TDU PE, and it will create a .tdupk file in your desktop. That file can then be imported to any car, when you press ctrl+i, also in TDU PE. And voilá, your physics would be restored in no time. Though, you would need to create a .tdupk file for every vehicle. Edit: Also, the Lamborghini Aventador Coupe file is called LP640.bnk. For some reason i don't know, the person who did a previous pack that had it, named the file that way.
  18. You didn't need it. To be honest. Since you've played it in english. All you needed were the vehicle files.
  19. So it works? Test the races you've been taking notes, just to be sure, please.
  20. That is a problem with BTQR file, inside the car.bnk file. I need to extract it and increase the max rpm. Because if i set a higher RPM limit than it's BTQR, it will get that effect when using automatic gearbox or manual with auto clutch. Since i've done all cars with manual + clutch, i couldn't notice that. So far there is the 205 T16, Fiat Punto, Fairlady Z 432... and possible the 33 Stradale. Edit: If in an emergence, reduce the rpm limit in TDU PE. If it's 8500, set 7500 or even 7000. Also, i've found what was causing the crashing with the hotfix v1.1. Tried here, had to set my game in french, and then it crashed aswell. People who play in english didn't get such issue. Soon enough i will release a hotfix v1.2, with edited btqr files from the already known cars and fixing this issue for players who use another language than english. Edit: Just tested, it's working in other languages again. Races don't crash, bots have names, and the game works. Thanks for the patience of waiting. :D --- Post Updated --- Hotfix v1.2 uploaded. Link is again, the same link as the pack. More info in the OP.
  21. The pasdansleDVD happens because i've tried to increase the difficulty of the bots, putting them with the same behaviour. But apparently the first races are coded in a way that the game pick bots with bad behaviour, and assign generic cars to them. Since there are no bots with bad behaviour, they get the padansleDVD name. And the racing crashing i still not sure why they happen, it is not a clear reason, what i've been doing is back, and add bots bit by bit, and test each time a new bot is added. Last time, the bot number 289 made the game crash. No matter what name, or what car, it always crashed the game. So i left only 288. But i must now check why some of you guys are getting a crash with the hotfix v1.1 when some other people are just fine with it.
  22. I believe he wants to know how i did a "body swap" when you tune a car. Later i will explain, but i am not home yet. Same goes for try fix a few of the bugs already pointed.
