  1. Now we just need an easy way to create a new car in TDU.
  2. What? BBC is basically a channel, that uses the governament to tax you guys? Like, in rough explanation...
  3. Didn't know you guys had to pay. I thought it was like an open channel in UK, since everyone seems to watch it.
  4. It's really lame how BBC blocks their internet streaming to other countries.
  5. Erm... why they look like water has fell over the paper?
  6. I start with the wheels, then wheel arches, bottom line and then outer line... the rest is just play inside with the details and etc.
  7. 200% agreed. :nods: Actually, the GT86 surprised me in that matter, i think it's a great car, and should be used as an example by other brands... it's a matter of time to see if it will fire up the cheap sports coupe segment again, or if it will die... alone. Edit: This hasn't been posted. Mitsubishi GC PHEV Concept - Many photos Discuss.
  8. So do i Scott, i also want many things to be different, but unfortunatelly, it's not up to us to decide. And i took a long time to understand that. Market is always making things for us, car enthusiast, complicated. Because we are a small part of all the people who buy cars. And the majority always wins when it is about what gives more money.
  9. Those sales are earned with Audi, Porsche, Seat and other brands that are part of Volkswagen Group.
  10. Volkswagen has moved forward, but remember their market is very conservative, big changes means big drop in sales. And the Passat CC is supposed to be "sportier", once it's in the category started by the CLS, " sedans that want to be a coupe" segment.
  11. So, this is a 1997 Passat. Very exciting. And it's not really boring, we find it boring, but it's actually more "low profile". They are made to not call the attention of young people who like sportiveness looks, big wings and vents, like a Celica GT-Four. But that doesn't mean they're badly designed. It's actually totally inverse, Volkswagen has been great with their designs, as they are very polished and well made. Lines are constant and well thought. It's just... not a looker. I respect and admire their work, but that doesn't mean i like how they look, they are too "serious, business and boring" to me. Although, i absolutelly love the Volkswagen Golf VII 1.4 TSI.
  12. Volkswagen won't ever make a sports car, i think you can forget about that. Their sport car is the Golf GTi, and possible the Golf R. Like it has always been. Also, Volkswagen has a line of work to be more "serious", more "blend in" lines, their cars will never be "exciting" If you notice, they never were, apart from their concepts. And the reason of that is, Volkswagen is linked to cars that are reliable and cheap, popular vehicles... they get money of sports cars with Audi and all the other brands they have under their belt. Why make a VW that fights the Cayman for example? It is not interesting in the market point of view. Toyota in the other hand, had sports cars before, MR2, Celica, Supra, AE86... and the GT86 is just a way to bring that heritage back... in the market point of view, Volkswagen already has a rival for the GT86, which is their Golf GTi. To sum it up about their design, someone who buys a VW, buys it because it is "boring", basically. It is like a Corolla, nobody buys a Corolla, wanting it to be a Civic Si Coupe.
  13. Sometimes i wonder if it's just me, but a lot of new cars that are getting released doesn't look good. Seems like one of those bad moments for cars, and when the new versions come in 3 to 4 years, they will be a lot better...
  14. New R8 is just a facelift. And since it got released after the TT, it just looks like a TT sport wide bodykit. lol
  15. Drew this yesterday, when i got bored at class.
  16. I think i know it, if i am not mistaken, it was a 591hp limit, not sure about the name, maybe "Pure sports car cup"... But the car was definetly the Unisia Jecs R33, white and orange, wasn't it?
  17. That's GT4, and was the DTM championship, where you'd win the CLK-GTR. In GT2 the most expensive car cost 2.000.000, and every car sells for half of the half, so, that would be 500.000. :cheeky: #gthardcorefan Edit: Tob has beaten me. :chuckle2:
  18. You should though, because they were great race cars, and they were responsible to put an end to GT-R era on JGTC. Back then in 95, i think. Now, to end this topic about racing Supras, a pic of the 1995 Supra GT LM, which raced the 24h of Le Mans in 95, leaving it's blessing with all the glory of an era that has come to an early end. Edit 2: My favorite racing Supra :bye:  Edit: Bodykit that inspired the TRD 3000GT, by the way.
  19. No, now, take a seat and let me teach you something new about the au Cerumo Supra, which was very clever. In the 2000's JGTC championship, there was a rule that every car that finishes a race in 1st place, would race the next one with extra weight, that way, one car would not dominate the championship. Knowing about that rule, the au Cerumo Supra never finished a race in 1st place, but it always did on 2nd and so, as a result of their clever strategy, the Cerumo Supra was the championship winner of 2000's JGTC, without win a single race. #factsyoulearnwhenyouwastetimereadingtheinfothatgranturismoprovidesofthecars.
  20. The fact that GT6 gets new content for free, such as new tracks for free... i think they know that they're doing something wrong with false promises... :hmmm: Also, money grind with the R30? Man, GT All Stars, Red Rock Valley, win the Speed 12, 500.000 each, fastest money grind on GT2.
