    If that is only thing that matters, is Panamera Turbo S a hot hatch? It is a hotted up version of base Panamera. Is BMW M Coupe a hot hatch? Since it is the M version of the Z3 coupe. Both have hatches tailgates... also, to go further, if Ferrari makes a 1000hp Ferrari FF, will it be a hot hatch? Don't think so. Look, i don't know, i don't consider the STi a hot hatch, same way as the GT-R is not a JDM. But who cares? I am just a hater.

    Once again, the STi maybe fit, the same way as the GT-R R35 fits in JDM. It just don't feel right...

    I don't know... definition of Hot Hatch is a faster version of a small family hatch. Subaru not always have been a hatch, just this newer model get it. So, in my point of view, it is almost the same as put a GT-R R35 in JDM. It maybe fit in, but you know... just doesn't feel right.

    I know that, yet, not every hatch can be a hot hatch. Ferrari FF is one of the exemples. It has a hatch/tailgate just like your Golf, however, it is not a hot hatch. Once again, i know my Peugeot is not, that is why i asked, and once again, i will repeat, if i could take a new photo, of a proper Hot Hatch, i would... i took the 106 because it was better than nothing, but you know what? I am not going to participate. Yes, call it rage quit or whatever...

    Not being picky but already being, i don't think a Subaru Impreza STI hatch is classified as a "Hot Hatch". Maybe not even my 106. But that is my opinion.
