I will tell you my point about not consider it a in-house tuner and just a version name. Look about Fiat Sporting series... Punto Sporting Stilo Sporting Idea Sporting Bravo Sporting same happens with the T-Jet... Punto T-Jet, Bravo T-Jet, Linea T-Jet... And i'm pretty sure it isn't a in-tuner house... but many Fiat's has those versions. Same goes to SS... look Cobalt SS, Camaro SS, Silverado SS... It is different than AMG, that has always theirs "own" engine and brakes and all that... The Neon SRT is just a sport version with same engine than the normal Neon. So... i don't consider SRT a in-house tuner... i guess even Mopar is more in-house tuner than SRT badge. Lol

I still thinking the SRT is not a in-house tuner. Even because Viper had only that version, different than any other car that has a in-house tuner. Mercedes C-Class, Mercedes C-Class AMG, BMW 3-Series, BMW M3. I also doesn't think a different people think about the SRT separated of the Dodge people. Imo, ACR is a lot more "special" than SRT.

I don't think so... Chevrolet Camaro SS is not a in-house tuner... it's just a version name, not really tuned by other company like AMG or ACR. That's why SRT isn't either... SRT is just the name of the top version of chrysler/dodge cars... If SRT, SS, Lexus F can be called an in-house tuner, Fiat "Sporting or T-Jet" can be called in-house tuner too. Different than AMG... Punto T-Jet, Bravo T-Jet, Linea T-Jet... see?

The SRT name is like the Lamborghini LP... just a version name, not really tuned. ;)

Not at all... SRT is the new Dodge name.... you don't see Dodge Viper only, you only see Dodge Viper SRT-10. Edit: If Viper SRT is a in house tuner, Corvette Z06 is too... Viper ACR can be considered a in house tuner not the SRT. ;)
