  1. I think the blue rod thing behind the ducks with the rounded red ends would be a funner toy to play with...
  2. Narwhal, quite a nice selection of hatchbacks you spotted there :cheeky: Seriously though, that SL looks schemxy :D
  3. As a matter of fact it is a Samsung, and on the back it says it was manufactured in December 2008. I just tried it on my parents computer and the same thing happens at startup, right after the manufacturer logo screen. I suppose this confirms that it's a problem with the monitor itself.
  4. @Leadfoot: That's an epic picture! I wish my iPhone always took pictures so clearly. It's a hit or miss, most of the time miss :p Today I saw a Ferrari 360 CS and an Aston Martin DBS Volante, no pictures since I was driving :/
  5. Hey guys. So basically this is what's happening at startup: Startup This weird 'fade away black out whatever you call it' has been happening for about a month now. I didn't really care about it because all it did was add a few extra seconds to startup... But now the same thing happens when I play Sims 3!! Sims 3 I can hear the sound, but the screen is just black! I've tried updating my graphics card drivers and did a virus scan, none of these solved my problem. I played TBOGT and this doesn't happen. I don't know if it's a problem with the monitor or the video card, or possibly something else  Any help would be appreciated, I miss my Sims...
  6. I like your choice in mods. I'm curious to see what your lights look like when lit lol. Flowmaster exhausts sound awesome! Yeah! I wanted to hear it scream too!! It's because bigger engines have to work less to go faster. Last year we took our V6 Pacifica on a road trip. I was driving (at about 80 MPH) getting 17 mpg. Recently we got a Navigator (5.4L V8) and it was doing 19 MPG at 80 MPH. That one episode of Top Gear where they race the Prius and M3 around their race track explains this theory.
  7. I've got Crucial memory in my computer. I believe the memory that I put in my Dad's computer is G-Skill or something like that, that's been in use for nearly 2 years now and it's just fine.
  8. idk if it's just me but I think that One-77 looks pretty cool...
  9. That i7 isn't bad. As for RAM you should be fine with 4GB. The way I look at ram is that you can always add more if you need more. I've got 4 gigs and my computer runs just fine.
  10. I saw a burgundy E60 M5, a whole bunch of F10 5'ers, a burnt orange 2011 Charger, and a new E-Class wagon (which is very rare in this part of the world!).
  11. I really like the new forum theme. The only thing that bugs me is that the avatar, username, etc. is at the top of the post, rather than being at the side. I personally thought having this information on the left makes the thread look much cleaner. Now it's like post/avatar/post. However I must say this new theme looks much more Windows Sevenyy. Me like :) My OS is 7 and browser is Chrome and I have this bug too. E: One more thing I noticed that I really like. The adverts on the home page are on the right! Now they aren't so much "in your face."
  12. Yes you need to buy a motherboard that has the same socket type. Do they make i5's for LGA 1366? If you already haven't bought the i5, see if you can get one that is socket type 1366. Then when/if you decide to go for an i7 it'll be amazingly better.
  13. Dooooo iiiiit! FYI, CPUs are generally cheaper at your local computer store. I bought my i7 online for like $250 and then the next weekend Microcenter had a sale on CPUs and the i7 was 199. I hated myself that day lol.
  14. @ Revan: Oh it's awful. If I depress the accelerator half way down you can see actually see the gasoline needle go down  But it's a 6.1 V8. MPG is nbd :p @ Mb: Tires are actually fine! I haven't even floored this car yet, let alone do a burnout lol. Now the windows are 50% tinted all the way around and I got these cool license frames that replace the stupid dealer ones. I need to take some new pics sometime soon...
  15. ^ That's what she said (sorry I just had to :happyroll:)
  16. He was just saying that your graphics card is HUGE! It looks like a beast, I must say ;)
  17. I think that looks really good, but $700 is quite a lot. If something happens to your tails and you need to have them replaced the I'd say go ahead and buy them. By then the price would've dropped as well :p.
  18. That's not bad, but I found a modular 700W OZC power supply for $70 here. A modular power supply is better because it doesn't have a whole bunch of wires comming out of the back. It comes with wires that attach to the PSU on one end and attach to your motherboard, HDDs, video cards, etc. on the other end. This keeps the inside of your computer neater and is better for airflow. And better airflow means a coolr computer. ;)
  19. I saw a 60's GTO and a camo-painted 90's GM Astro Van today. I didn't know so many people owned classic cars around here.
