    i don't see how its any worse then the grand cherokee,its pretty much the same size,the only real differance is the shape,and that it has third row seats,its just a good off road,and imo looks better the grand cherekee,or at least the 2005-2010 model one anyways.

    well not all suvs can be switched from 4wd to 2wd.Hummers,land rovers,and many over high end suvs operate in a awd mode opposed to 2wd,true 4wd isn't mean to be used on pavement,its damages it.Thats why they invented awd in the first place.But it would be cool to switch between 2wd(on suv that have it(awd on suvs that don't)),and 4wd.they should also let you switch between high and low range as well!!!

    actually its chysler,but your point still stands.Personally,i would like to see the commander,its actually a solid performer,off road and on road.

    actually,i think you mean 06-08,seeing how the was no 2005 model year charger.Also what did they change in the tailights they look identical to me.

    What if the damage system was kinda like burnout 3,where you crash,it goes into a cool camera mode,and you get get to watch your beautiful car get riped apart,then it resets you,and you car looks good as new.Except with a less arcadish feeling.Would that be such a bad thing?Also,seeing the "Warning,airbag deployment not simulated" when starting up forza 3 has got me wondering,wouldn't it be cool if they did simulate air bag deployment.It would alot more realisim to the game.

    After tonnes of experance sliding backward,atempting to go up a hill in this game,I can say having awd doesn't really help.The power just goes to the back wheels anways,lol

    diablo makes a good point maybe they were refering to density,the lack of a good translation seems to leave this questionable.

    well,i think they were refereing to the enviroment,so i don't this thats the case,but their could be alot more content anyways.

    This is just a though,but maybe theirs more to off road,then just none pave roads.Maybe they added off road trails that lead to seceret loctions,and other cool discoveres.Maybe thats what they mean't by the island being 2.5 times bigger,because the 2.5 times more details.

    Its funny how simalar the forests on this island are compared to the forests from where i live in british columbia,Canada.Also i hope their are some trails other then perfectly flat gravel in this game. [mod edit:] Please do not quote images, thanks!

    i disagree with that,the handling phyics on that game were not very realistic at all,but i did think the suspenison bonce and rebound was pretty well done.But my point was that NFS has strayed too far from what orginally made the series great.

    I remeber nfs 3 hot pursuit,that was my first racing game,it was awsome. Its a shame that nfs abandoned the idea of exotic cars,and locations,with cop chases.NFS just dosen't work as a racing simulator. edit:well thats kinda disapointing about the exlusive club cars then,espeacially if one of them happens to be one of your favorate cars.

    If off roading is going to be a successfull adition to tdu,then we need the option to switch between high and low range,on suvs equiped with it.We also need tobe able to lock the diffs,in most cases awd just doesn't cut it.

    I'd love to just see some production off roaders like the g55 amg,hummer h2,range rover,lr4/discovery 4,jeep grand cherokee,and mercedes gl550.And hopefully we will have the option to do stuff like this to them.     i had i feeling thats was what their getting at,but at the statement "and who want to be there" lost me completly,i have no idea how that was suposed to implie tradional suvs.But so far the only confirmed suv,is a crossover(sypker) ps.on a side note,basied on chassi type,the range rover is just as much of a crossover as the forester.Just thought i wound clear up a common misconception:thumbsup:for any of the suv thats in the game though.

    interesting acticule,but did anyone else find it hard to understand "Now been officially confirmed the off-road vehicles, whether this is just to SUVs, we shall learn. Gibt ja verschiedene Gelände gängige Wagen (zB Audi A6 Allroad Quattro) und welche die es sein möchten (zB Cadillac Escalade). Is common ground so different cars (eg Audi A6 Allroad Quattro) and who want to be there (eg, Cadillac Escalade).'' what was that suposed to mean?

    Keep in mind though that screen shots are often different from the actual gameplay,in forza 3 the screens were way more detailed then the actual game,or at least what you see while racing. Ps.WHO,i know the feeling,im suposed to be working in my digital media class,lol

    lol,terrain limousines is what germans call suvs.Can't wait for them though,hopefully a couple of land rovers are included,and theirs some decent places to do actual 4x4ing,not just rally racing!!!!

    i wonder how indepbt off road customization will be,it would be cool to put big off road tires,bush gaurds, roof rack and other off road toys on my suv.
