  1. Great news!! A lot of things that we hoped for are actually here. :excited:
  2. Great work! It looks amazing. I have a suggestion: do you think it could be possible to make the interior part of the headlights like this? -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- So when you go to a paint shop and you paint the car, for example, in yellow, the headlights would be yellow as well, matching the exterior color. I think it would be a cool addition to the mod. I hope you understand what I mean.
  3. Yeah but in the Gamereactor article they didn't talk about O'ahu being reused in TDU2: "More than 1500 kilometres of road was available to drive on, located on Oahu in Hawaii. This feels like nothing compared to Test Drive Unlimited 2 which is a whole 2.5 times bigger and is enacted on the Spanish island of Ibiza [...]" It would be very strange to have 2 completely different islands (different vegetation, architecture, climate.....) next to each other. So I think it's 3750km of drivable roads/tracks in Ibiza only (Ibiza is 570km2 and has roads going all over the place, so 3575km is possible imo.)
  4. It would be fun but Ibiza and Monaco are actually like 400 miles apart.
  5.:confused: What do you mean "O'ahu will be back in TDU2" ??
  6. As you can see, there's no border between France and Monaco: -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) --
  7. Monte Carlo is a part of Monaco. And there's no border between Monaco and France. The reason why TDU will never be in Monaco is because it's very very small. It's only 0.76 sq. mil. (1.95 km²). O'ahu is 596 sq. mi. (1,545 km²) and Ibiza is 220 sq mi (571 km²)
  8. November 2010. BTW: If the game is at E3 Expo in June 2010 and looks done, we can definitely expect it for fall 2010. EDIT: Eden Games and Atari won't be at the expo actually......so Idk.
  9. What the... Some people don't realize that this is a racing game.......
  10. O'ahu is a lot bigger than Ibiza (596 sq mi against 220 sq mi) but in TDU1 there wasn't a lot of roads compared to the surface area. The middle of the island was almost empty, the mountain parts as well. So who cares if Ibiza is a smaller island...There will be 2.5 times more mileage, it will take A LOT of time to go through all the roads.
  11. The bigger the road, the darker the color is. Just like in real maps. Exemple with this random map :cheeky: -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) --
  12. It is Ibiza... They said it in the press release: "One of the unique aspects of Test Drive Unlimited was the enormous game-world. More than 1500 kilometres of road was available to drive on, located on Oahu in Hawaii. This feels like nothing compared to Test Drive Unlimited 2 which is a whole 2.5 times bigger and is enacted on the Spanish island of Ibiza, mostly known for its gigantic beach parties. One of the reasons that you’ve chosen Ibiza is because the variation in the environment. Here, dense forests crowds with enormous flat surfaces, big mountain groups with picturesque ruins and of course modern cities."
  13. If you like classic cars (Group G or not), the Megapack is perfect: -Dino 246GT -Ferrari 250 GTO -Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole -Ferrari F40 -Lamborghini Countach 25th anniversary and some muscle cars...
  14. Unless the car list is as big as GranTurismo I doubt there's going to be Renaults and all. Btw: I hope they still have the Ferrari license..........TDU without Ferraris isn't TDU. I reallllly hope they still have it....
  15. I'm not very impressed by the quality of the cars right now. The scenery looks great though. EDIT: btw, just an idea: There might be multiple different islands. I thinking that because if you look closely at the pictures, you'll see that the environments are different. In the Viper and Apollo pics, it looks like TDU1 with palm trees and stuff...In the 300SL picture, the trees kinda remind me of the vegetation you find in Japan. And I think the vegetation in the Zonda F pic looks Mediterranean. Anyway, it's good to see that the vegetation is going to be different. I'm tired of seeing 1000s of similar looking trees in TDU1.
  16. Great pictures mate! The 365 GTS/4 looks great. I might download it.
