  1. Thanks all for feedback and suggestions. About the pitch it sounds even higher than in the original audio (it reaches the breaker at a lower tone already), so I don't think I'll change anything about it. Maybe it doesn't sound too "powerful" or something I don't know, but it's as close as it can be from the audio source, that source has some gain in it and a weak audio volume. But I don't want to apply filters or anything that will make the sound more synthetic, I just added some bass, amplified dynamics and volume, applied hiss and pop/click filter ; I already made 4 different beta versions before posting this one so i'm done with it for now.
  2. Thanks to COMB@T_$HOTGUN for the audio source : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yamvu66TQz8 Preview : Download : http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?w5ja7bkywk7d5eh Thanks for your comments.
  3. 100% real except the idle sound. For some reason, a real F1 idle sounded horrible once imported in TDU, so unwillingly, I had to use something else. Check the "read me" file If you wish to get rid of the shifter sounds like in the preview video. Source : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUM2_IamvbM TDU sound : Download : Ferrari F1 TDU sound by Dr G.zip Hope you like it. (Link to the mod : Released Ferrari 248 F1 - Full Mod Pack)
  4. @ Koniuuu's : Not bad, the volume level is a bit low but it could worth a try. Now I didn't said that I wasn't happy with the other sound, I just made a version that was too loud at the beginning but now it's fixed. Maybe I'll try this audio later thanks. @Rooo's : Man, seriously, read the requirements before posting... I can also go on Youtube for 5 minutes and find a dozen of garbage videos... Do you know how many links I can check sometimes before finding the good audio (I'd rather say the "less worst")? It's like 100, 200, 300... It really takes hours and even days. If I could make good sound mods from such videos, I would have done all the TDU cars already and I wouldn't need to make such a thread. And for Christ's sake ONLY POST FOR DEFAUT VEHICLES!
  5. Hi, The size limit of a sound bnk is 766kb. If you go above this size, the sound will go muted. Then you may need to cut your samples to reduce the size. Also, check if all your samples are really in TDU audio format, because if you forget just one, that can make your sound go blank too.
  6. Guys, thanks for commenting. Now I just realized, after listening to others audios of that car, that the pitch is too low, I guess i have to make a v3 soon for correcting this...
  7. I just posted a new version. It's exactly the same sound but with lower volume level and (a bit) smoother samples.
  8. Hilarious. The same guy who dares giving lessons to "most of the sound modders on this site", bitching about "amplified-to-beyond-clipping" and "ear-bleedingly noisy" sound mods, now posts so-so sounds that have already been heared dozens of times and of course, grainy as hell. Fortunatly, any kind of garbage that you post on this forum, you always get positive feedback... (and I think I know what I'm talking about).
  9. No it wasn't, it was full of grain and crackles, the high rpm sample was distorted to death and much too short. Plus the whole sound was too high pitched. But I've noticed that these kinds of problems don't seem to bother a lot of users...
  10. Thanks man, I just sent you a message about it, didn't noticed you already answered here! I can't wait for a proper mod of this legend, good luck with it!
  11. Thanks for your critic, this is exactly what I expect from someone testing a sound. About the idle echoing it's normal, it's TDU audio engine who does that and I don't know why exactly, nothing I can do about it anyway. About the lack of sound I don't know, it's ok here (as you can see in the video). Maybe you use it on another slot which has this bug? This sound is now released here : Released Doctor G - Mazda 787B sound (Mclaren F1 LM slot) Thanks for commenting. But now this is exactly what I don't need from someone testing a sound... You like it? Fine... But it's not of any use for me to know if you like it or not, I need to know WHY you like it (or not) and what you would change for enhancing it (nothing is perfect, especially that sound who is much too loud, for example). Reading the 1st post with more attention would have helped. To the others who recently tried betas and didn't comment here about it, no need to say that it's no use to eventually ask for another one...
  12. I use metalshredder7 unreleased beta of his 787B mod (on the F1 LM slot, but you can use the sound on any Mclaren) I suggest you set the gears to 5 with TDUMT for more realism. Thanks to $p4c3 for the idea. Source : TDU sound : Download : Mazda 787B TDU sound (Mclaren slot) by Doctor G.zip
  13. Version 2 uploaded : new samples (much smoother, real idle) and a lower pitch. Ferrari 512 BBLM TDU sound V2 (512 TR slot) by Doctor G.zip
  14. Just posted an improved version with less grain and distortion : http://www.mediafire.com/?2tonvb5ha83c97h
  15. Source : Sound mod : Download : Ferrari 250 GTO TDU sound mod V2 by Doctor G.zip Ignition time : 3,94 seconds (but you can leave the defaut ignition time which sounds ok though) Thanks to those who leave comments...
  16. Cool, I'm tired of that old ugly truck, thank you.
  17. I think I see what you mean but in fact I didn't mix anything, it's the sound of exhausts as they are in the original audios. I guess that you have this feeling because the recordings are really good. Thanks you 4. I love that sound too, it's really deep !
  18. Dammit! But wait, I noticed some problems with that sound mod, I'm going to make a better version in a week or 2 and will upload, sorry for incinvenience but I think the result can be improved a lot and it's the opportunity to do it.
  19. Not so bad, not so good.. I'm not sure, but I'm going to give it a try thanks I've sent you the result and I wait your opinion, to me it's just so-so but at least it sounds clean. Hmm i'm miles from being a professional really (but thanks for the compliment) and this ain't a defaut sound.
  20. Nice to have news man, ready when you are!

    1. Kr4zyB3n and sanis I sent you the 787B link. sanis why would I make that thread to not give the sounds seriously? I was just kinda lazy and busy that's all, sometimes I'm not very motivated about all this and yes, 3 persons tested it so far... Tob-Racer's I send you the link in 4/5 days, time to check some stuff about this old Type-e project Guys remember, no need to post here to ask for a sound, do it via private message and then leave a comment here ATFER you tested the sound, thanks.
