I think I figured it out. A few weeks ago when I put new thermal paste on my card, my brother in law put the heatsink/fan back on for me and broke a pin, since then it's been running 20 degrees hotter... It seems that when the card overheats, it murders the drivers for some reason... Anywho, I lent a friend some cash, when I get it back from him I'm gonna pick up an Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo PRO http://www.arctic-cooling.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2_&mID=379 I'll let you guys know if that fixes it or not >_>

Werd. You xbox and PS3 players can complain about your graphics all you want, but even my budget gaming build is sitting around $700 right now, not including monitor and things like keyboard, mouse, steering wheel, joystick, and other add-on crap... I say PC should always get better graphics, and if we don't, we always have nVidia control panel to bump everything up ;D

I've just updated my drivers and tried again, to no avail... When I first got the card it was running TDU with everything maxed, even the crap in nVidia control panel :( now it's gone to the dumps, but only for TDU, everything else runs fine still

For the last 2 weeks or so every time I play TDU it kills my drivers. I get the whole "Video drivers have failed but have now recovered" thing... they don't recover, I have to restart every time... Usually it's within 5 minutes of driving, sometimes instantly... reverting to old drivers did nothing, restoring all the settings in nVidia control panel did... Nothing. Any ideas? I didn't buy a game to only be able to play it for 2 weeks...

My god this is all coming on fast... a month between announcement and almost full disclosure... Makes me think good things of Atari for once :p Now we just need a beta ;D

^Agreed, paying for tow trucks when you break down or run out of gas and having to wait for it to come, even if it only gives a cheap cinematic of it going to the repair shop, would make it WAYYYYYYY more realistic and bloody amazing

honestly, i'd like to see "normal" cars getting a chance at being turned into off road beasts, like, a civic with a lift kit and some monster 46 inch off road tires lol seems fun, no?

Thanks DJ :D @Malakai - i've got maciuks weather mod now, but i dont like how it fakes the night, the way that the light has a radius around the car instead of an absolute darkness like reality would have is kinda dumb lookin to me, but i'm guessing that's just restraints of of the game hopefully more pics coming this week, been busy the last week or so
