  1. I haven't been following the landsurface stuff for a while, does anybody think the 380 km² might miss a 0? If you do 3800/2.5 you get at 1520. Would that be a possibility? The note at the 300SL picture also says that to buy cars you'll have to find the dealerships first. ''Quite a job, as the island is large''.
  2. Common sense isn't as common as we think.
  3. How can he use it if it ain't gonna be released on PC?
  4. I hope there's no auto-reset, and that you can actually flip your car without the game's interference, like in TDU1.
  5. Hm, that's a little bit more than the others xD
  6. I think it's impossible to filter out évery single swearword on earth. They should then either have some helpdesk 24/7 that monitors and filters out bad words, and how are you going to prevent them from putting foreign swearing on it? Think of all the languages, thinks of all the swearwords in those languages, and think of all possible combinations of both words as the letter-nummer combo's.
  7. Because they don't look at dreamcars in that very personal and changeable meaning of the word in my opinion. I think they rather look at the general idea of dreamcars, which are almost-unaffortable high-end luxury, but mostly sporty vehicles, such as Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, etc. The classic imagination of what cars are most expected as the wallpapervehicles for kids, like the F40 is. You can't really say an Astra OPC or Golf R32 are the first or most mentioned cars that come into mind when you ask the audience for dreamcars.
  8. Then I hope you can drive the car yourself into a parkingspace in the ferry behind other vehicles. Then when the thing starts to leave port, you can switch between cameras on the ship, like on at the restaurant, a few on the deck, one at a lounge or something, and one in the car, to look at the other vehicles. It would be awesome to see your character walking around xD
  9. Some people here seem to think the % numbers on the top of I believe the second scan (with the Zonda and the interview at the bottom) to be facts about TDU2, like 10% better graphics and 25% better cars. It ain't though. Those are results from a previous poll on the site of that magazine. Like in, 10% of all voters wants better graphics, etc etc. So I say again, those numbers say nothing about the game, they are pure pollresults and nothing else.
  10. It doesn't have to be toned down. TDU PSP/PS2 vs TDU 360/PC. Look at that and you'll see what they can do.
  11. I also wonder what english and american people do here in holland (in my town, not in Amsterdam), but I do see them :p
  12. That clubshot looks amazing.
  13. That sounds nice, although the damage repairing system reminds me of Fuel. And sometimes I just wanna bash up a car, WITHOUT the game interfering with its automatic resetfunctions, like what the CMR series is known for. The MP3 thing ain't too bad. With winamp on the background I have more songs than the ingame radiostations so that's no point. Then my curiousity is pulled to what also sounds like Fuel (in less ways Burnout Paradise) and makes me fear stupid imaginary buggies will be in: you can find wrecks, which will unlock at the showroom? I'd love it if this would be like those barntreasures, with expensive and exotic cars. The first DLC by the way will most likely contain stuff including the auction house to manage your downloads.
  14. Or link it to the nationality/origin of the player, which could be selected in the profile settings.
  15. And the option to include or exclude a front plate, while the rear one hás to be present. And if you choose the include a front plate, make it a sticker on the sportscars, like on the Viper. That's how it goes in real life.
  16. World Racing 2 had both sides of damage and at gasstations and pitlanes you could get the car fully repaired, up to removing scratches from the paintwork. Perhaps they can make the garageboxes at all those TDU1 gasstations functional as repairbays
  17. I played NFS3 up to including Most Wanted, and 3, 4 and 5 had the best soundtrack ever. Some individual songs from other games like Motorhead and C&C Tiberian Sun are also cool, but those 3 NFS'es are the best. That Romolo di Prisco is a real hero. I'm glad I have almost all songs of those games as MP3. I think the showcase tune of NFS2 is also very cool btw.
  18. I believe they recently announced Grid 2 is going to be developed. I'm not going to get them though, both EA and Codemasters have shown the PC-community el grando middlefingero when it's about decent informing, patching and adding content, and they never reply to you when you ask why.
  19. That 1.67 was never officially tested I think.
  20. Lol, I dunno, I consider a Camaro and Mustang as US copcar, black and white. I want other cars than such for a change. I think though if they put in driving emergency vehicles again, they should also put ambulances in. I see those driving around more often than firetrucks.
  21. Ain't that a graphical issue? I had that with GTA IV if the settings were higher than my pc can handle, so I got all sorts of green and blue flickering on my screen, distorting everything. I think that has to do with graphicscard, but I'm not an hardware expert. I think though the graphicscard gets too hot.
  22. Would be nice that IF we get that stupid overflood of coupons or something similar again, that we can buy wallpapers. It would be so cool to download wallpapers from the internet, put them in a folder, and the game being able to read them and show them ingame. That way you can buy your own preferred wallpapers. Garagecustomization would be cool too, choosing attributes (I think TDU1 had stuff like classic fuelpumps), and choosing the appearance, like the floor. I'd like a carpet, like the MB showroom in TDU1, but marble is nice too. The only other thing of TDU2 I know which involves the word ''house'', is that DLC's will be manageable in an auction house ingame. It was stated though that this auction house would also be an addon, therefor not present at release.
  23. This is an english forum so you should talk english. And get that smiley out, unless you want to show you're angry at yourself for not looking closely enough :p But, because you ask so nicely... Download: http://www.oahucars-unlimited.com/crbst_27.html *I assume fabien asks where the bike is cuz he can't find it*
  24. My TDU also gone bad. The first disc had a small crack in it, which others had too because of the steelbox. I went and buy a replacement one, but when I played TDU a few months ago I saw loads of graphical errors. Grass was everywhere and the car had all sorts of normalproblems. I haven't tried playing after that. I first need to know what is wrong causing all those weird graphical errors.
  25. NFS5 had that in Evolution mode. You could buy cars new or second hand, with secondhand ones being damaged. It would be a nice option, as long as people won't sell wrecks overall 99% damaged for a price of a couple of millions. So I think that'll be out of the question.
