1. To those who want some more screenshots, head over to this page on Imgur.com
2. It looks even better now that Redbull has actually released official images of their concept for a semi-shielded cockpit: And in further news: the tear-off ban has been postponed to the GP of Spain. It has been delayed on request of the teams, who funny enough were the ones to ask for this ban. Those same teams have also all voted to return to the old qualifying system, with for example Horner declaring it a mistake the new system made it through.
3. New Suzuki Swift has surfaced. Sources say it's for 2017 and comes with a 1.0 liter petrol engine for the normal version and a 1.4 for the Sport. (1 of the) Source(s): AutoExpress
4. I won't buy anything brand new because it's too expensive in this country and you can get such awesome used cars for the same money. I'd be truly stupid to buy a Golf or a Prius (nearing 30K for base editions starting MSRP), or even a Citroen C1 (starts at just over 10.000). Either being stupid, or simply don't give a hoot about what you're surrounded by 2 hours a day. But I do care about that, and if I spend that much money I am spending it on something I like and really want to have. But to stay near the focus of the topic... ye I could go for the Mustang if the UK prices were like that over here. 35K for a V8... omg.
5. Red Bull's alternative has been digitalized based on the words of their team boss mentioning an open-top canopy with windscreen. It's a hoop on two supports with a wrap-around acrylic screen. Looks a lot better imo than Ferrari's dowsing solution.
6. I wouldn't... because I couldn't. 35.000 pounds converts to less than 45.000 euros where the entry-level 2.3 Mustang starts at €52.800 here. Also I'm a stupid number/badge type of guy with a mind-set like ''Porsche shouldn't build soccer mom tractors and beached whales'' and ''Ford Mustangs need a V8, end of a matter''. I'm not paying over 50.000 for an American 4-cylinder engined car. I don't know what I wóuld do, but I know it wouldn't be buying a Mustang. Doesn't mean I don't like the looks btw, I really do like this Mustang.
7. My monowiper already makes enough sound, might as well add this  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_JkxQhJs6U
8. I bought Max Payne 3 when it was on sale and tried it out a bit, but I didn't like it. I found it rather difficult, plus I discovered I was indeed too attached to the original scenes/story of Max Payne in a dark snowy/rainy NYC. What also didn't help was that there was only one approach to the graveyard flashback which required a special weapon, and because I didn't know this up ahead I used it up before I got there, basically forcing me to redo the story. That's when I left it collecting digital dust :jealous:
9. I hope if small parts hit it under an angle they don't get reflected towards the chest of the driver, otherwise they might as well give him a bulletproof suit that way. Then I'd fall back to what I said earlier: either not or full-way closed canopy like a jetfighter.
10. I forgot about the name-of-the-brace thing being filtered hahaha. Actually rather brilliant  I guess I'll just see with further quotes/articles if the issue is solved, looking closely at what's in the links.
11. Hey, buddy, thanks, I'll post again next time I find something :jealous: :p I don't like the looks of it either though, I can fully understand it's for safety but then I'd rather have em go all-in and make those closed-canopy cars you sometimes see in renders.
12. So today I thought I'd be useful and post pictures of the new lalalala 'roof' for F1 cars, using pictures from here: http://nl.motorsport.com/f1/news/raikkonen-test-als-eerste-rijder-lalalala-cockpit-bescherming-677016/ See? First error: usually when I posted I link, the forum automatically converted it to the hyperlink format, DUCK without the spaces ofcourse ...but now it no longer does that. Second error was that while using the tags as usually, the pictures from the website above would not show up, not even when using Chrome's Element Inspection to go all the way to the image (this trick always worked for me when images were part of galleries etc). And then there's SCS Blog posts. They have a blog with a dark background, meaning their font is light grey in color. What I usually did was simply select the text and use the font color box in the post editor to make the text black. But now, it splits up the whole quoted blogpost, and I even had double font color codes in the post. See below how it split the quote in two quotes, by adding a
13. http://blog.scssoft.com/2016/03/ultimate-wheel-customization.html Best upgrade option sofar :D
14. The first F1 Non-Drophead Coupe has been spotted: See more HERE
15. Title says it all, the Centenario will follow up the Ford GT as the next cover car in the Forza series. Microsoft announced it through this trailer, without telling if it's a new Forza Motorsport or Forza Horizon title.
16. To be honest I first thought of blue = cold, not immediately Ikea. If it had some yellow lines, that would change the story :p
17. ^ and limited to 450 units...same number as the total output of Veyrons, which they had all the troubles with to get it sold out. Impressive numbers btw, especially the top speed. Also, here's the new Spyker C8 Mightcomelator.... eh, Preliator. As I predicted a rebodied Aileron, against my expectation a supercharged 4.2 V8.
18. Here's a video showing the scenery and route of the Baku GP. I like it, I always had a weak spot for city-based racetracks, especially those with classical buildings (like GRID 1's Milano tracks).
19. It's so big I expect something in it, like a badge or some wings like around the Merc stars. It looks odd on the photo, to see the cross pattern on one half and only the vertical things on the other. Still not liking that modern Bentley double eye look, interior does look great.
20. American Truck Simulator. An easy one for me, I NEED that new old Kenworth truck but I had to blow my first 200.000 on my first truck, to make 180.000 to blow on upgrading the garage so I can have more than 1 truck, so now I need to head to 200.000 again before I can buy it. Freaking money...
21. Here's more interesting stuff. A 'new' 'Gumpert'... 'Gumpert' because it's now called Apollo, and 'new' because it seems to be a renamed Apollo with a badge instead of a side indicator. Perhaps that's the reason it's called ApolloN :p To quote their facebook page: >Still< building the fastest on the planet.... sounds like they for now decided to try and build some remaining Apollo's to get the money for their next car which was said to be named Arrow (also on Geneva). And Maserati finally showed their SUV they've been talking about for centuries, the Levante. No specs known yet.
22. Top shot easily a press photo of the real car.
23. Tasty little skittles you're showing there. But, against my expectations, I spot a flaw in this game. Those reflections in the diffuser of the McLaren [insertnumberlettersequence] is really low-detail. But then I see the green paint radiating into the tail light material.... mohhh.
24. Interesting cars keep showing up, like this nice 6-seater Skoda SUV called the Vision S. It will be on Geneva with a 1.4 TSI hybrid powertrain with 2 electric motors. Combined power of 225 hp and a full-electric range of 50 km. I like the front more than the back, though that grille somehow gives me instant Kia thoughts. Then there's a preview-event in London where this thing was the subject of the show: The front of the DB11 already leaked out before:
