Blueprints indeed serve mainly to model the actual car shown on them. I believe you want to edit a few parts and NOT model the entire thing yourself first, then you should look at finding the meshes (3d models). You could try to find and download such a model and then edit the parts you want to change. Perhaps you can even find a plug-in to import the R34 of TDU1, I know there is a 3ds max plug-in made by Vagos I think for importing TDU cars, I used it several times.

Chatbox is where it is? You were banned for a moment yesterday evening, perhaps that was it? :p

I find polymodelling the best. You make a small plane/polygon and you shift+drag the edges and move the vertices until they match the car's shape. You won't have to use polymodelling for everything, some simple stuff like rearwings are simple enough to make with boxshapes etc. Box modelling is good especially for beginning people, but eventually you'll have to leave it as it won't give as good results and freedom as the other methods. I believe NURBS is quite hard to learn, I never tried it myself. http://www.smcars.net/forums/nissan-datsun-infiniti/9088-nissan-skyline-r34-gt-r-v-spec.html http://www.smcars.net/forums/nissan-datsun-infiniti/5651-nissan-skyline-r34-gt-r-v-spec.html http://www.smcars.net/forums/nissan-datsun-infiniti/4415-nissan-skyline-r34-gt-r-v-spec.html These 3 topics have blueprints of that R34 V-spec. They are attachments though, if you're not a member I believe you can't see them. If you need them I can send them to you.

I haven't done a lot of work on the Mercedes because of PC trouble. In the meantime, I started a little side project. I only sort of pauzed the Mercedes, but not for long, I really want to finish it so it won't be laying around untouched for long :p I'll try to finish it by the end of this year, there's not too much 3d work left except some details here and there, brake air channels and leather stitching (which will really be a heavy and boring task) I've been drawing cars for a fantasy brand since my 13th, and I named the fantasy brand HDM, which are the initials of my first and last name. My nickname, CLR-GTR, was the name of the flagship of that brand. It has several generations, generation 3 and 5 were already in 3d modeled, and now I'm doing generation 6. http://www.vanquishdesign.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?p=40319#p40319 So that's what the signature means. And the picture is a birdseye view on the rearside of that car.

I think it's better to make a new one. That way the unofficial carlist can be used for listing cars confirmed by trailers, screenshots and interviews. The new topic will aim more at trying to find the cars behind the clues. I can also maintain a list in the first post of that new topic, which shows previous signature tips, and if there are enough posts pointing to just one or two cars, they can be added behind each tip.

Lol thanks, I was actually thinking the sig was too dark to see anything else other than just a blue floor and wheels xD These show more: http://www.vanquishdesign.nl/forum/gallery/image.php?album_id=113&image_id=1992 http://www.vanquishdesign.nl/forum/gallery/image.php?album_id=113&image_id=1993

Lol that 202..... I would have gone engineswapping though, or if anything had to be chopped, turn it into a coupe xD

Oh I'd love anything with that 6.2 V8, although the C63 is, after the SLS BS, the craziest thing they've done with it so far. If only I had way more money and a driveway+garage.... ahhh..
