I suppose you're right. I just tried it as a last ditch attempt to cruise with some degree of realism but that's impossible I guess.

I just got back into the game and decided that I will just use all my cars to cruise and finish the game off bit by bit. Noticed that you can mouse steer using PPJoy program. Well, I got that, set it up (kind of) and started playing. But I have encountered a pretty big issue with mouse steering in TDU2. When I steer, at first the wheels turn slowly and then suddenly they take off and turn a lot while im still moving the mouse at the same rate. There aren't any steering linearity settings in the controls menu nor in the PPJoy menu. This is bugging me because mouse steering is nigh on impossible. I can move the mouse a little bit and it will suddenly go turning the wheels halfway to full lock at speed and there isn't anything yet that I found that could fix that. Does anyone know how to alter steering linearity in TDU2 or use the mouse with that game? (other than PPJoy)

Beta. In real life these babies cost a LOT of money, and its a classic, never mind that its the best, recognise the amazingness of it :)

My blue with white tribals Range Rover and a Toxic Mercedes GL. I also got that pre-order carbon black aston, but it was kind of dissappointing.... It doesnt sound great nor drives amazing thanks to the appaling physics in this game. I wear the black suit though :) I'd love to see BMW make an appearance in TDU2, wouldn't you? E38 for cruising and X5 for off-road ventures.... aaah, dreams.

Right well thats what I've done. Damn, a lot of research has gone into this game...... more than usually. See in the manual they didnt put things like, Default buton for MAP is ';' and not 'M' as they say in the printed manual. They don't mention that for any h-shifter to work you need a G25/27 steering wheel with a programable gearbox.... They also don't tell you where is roof control anywhere in it. And I was flashing lights at another SUV, a humvee in my rover, and nothing happened. Can you only duel people in cars and not SUV's???? That would suck... or maybe he just had online interaction option switched off. Either way, what really gets me is that no one is still playing any ranked matches. Whats wrong with racing for rank??? You lvl up, you get money, you meet people.... Well at least my pre-order codes works :) Sweet aston :) ...that I cant afford, nor have space for.... :(

I've seen 2 VXR8's recently, followed by Porsche Cayman (or Boxter, I was on top floor of IKEA so might have got that one wrong), a 911 and I had once seen an S6 Undercover Police Car. The only way I could tell was because it had blue lights flashing and siren going off. :)

Well I am glad that YOU had no problems. I have had problems before I even started.....! Great. Well Ill just wait for the patch to come out, Im very annoyed at the moment.... I have to drive everywhere, I cant teleport and I dont even know where the shops are supposed to be. The only time I was in the map menu was at the first Championship...

You know what annoys me? EVERYTHING! This game is off to not just a bad or poor start. I waited 3 months for my pre-order to find out its bug ridden as hell. GPS does not work (no maps, no teleport, no bookmarks at all, when I press GPS button NOTHING happens), it works only by showing you the route and roads. Thats it for me. Roof control - WHERE THE HECK IS IT>?@ Gearbox - ANY manual settings do not work AT ALL. Sequential, H and H+C. Gearbox - part 2- auto gearbox lugs your car around like its been hit by a truck.... Car handling - screwed up. Its no longer a TDU, its an ARCADIFIED NFS. Need For Speed has got more realistic handling than this........ Sorry but it does. Especially jumps and drifts - wtf?! I dont think that chat works properly. On top of that, I have been sent a REGULAR COPY OF TDU. Now this is purely my retailers fault but that, THAT, is UNACCEPTABLE. Its simply outrageous...... I do love the previous TDU and dont get me wrong, I do like this game, its just that circumstances make it ridiculously difficult for me to like it. Im struggling. I will not ditch this, I spent too much just to let it all go. I will use it and maybe grow to love it but Atari has got a HELL of a job sorting this stuff out.. And for that matter, Play.com, idiots responsible for sending me the wrong game, will NOT receive an order from me ever again.... Right... So after I managed to get the TDU 2 going, now I am noticing multitude of little bugs and things not working. First off, where is roof control? Not that I have driven a convertible car yet, but its not in car controls.... Where is it? Or did they remove it? Or is it simply automatic for when its raining? Like lights when it gets dark... Car handling is completely different. Cars feel literally 'glued' to the road. Well, it is realistic up to a point... Steering is very unresponsive. Even on the most sensitive setting. Oh well, hopefully it will change. Its not a bug, just a nuisance... Also, its SOO easy to spin off even on sport. I drive hardcore but its painfully hard.... Engine is running by default. You cant switch it on or off. Or can you? I dont know how and where.... Is it even possible? Gears. Gears. Gears.... Gears suck. Automatic is the only working setting. And it starts your car in the most unrealistic way. Much the same can be said about reverse. It ludicriously jerky and the car starts almost as if it was hit by a truck. This opposed to how it should be which is simply wafting away. No, they decided that you have 100% grip at the start or you have no grip at all and you just spin..... Now thats only part one of gears. Sequential works only with certain cars I think. H-shifter and h-shift + clutch which is what I am ALWAYS using on TDU does not work at all. GPS is not working at all. It works as in it will show you the route and stuff, but when I press the GPS button, nothing happens. No map appears, no teleport options. I dont even know whether other players can see what I type into the game chat...... And Atari site says that my code is incorrect or has been redeemed. How the hell am I going to get my Aston V12 Carbon Black??! And watch this space for more upcoming bugs and annoyances.

I have around 9gb free disk space... Hmm I dont think thats it. The search is on. EDIT: Okay, Im so sorry to have raised such a fuss. Problem is solved, RTSSHooks was responsible for my EVGA card tuner, but as I am not using it anymore, I switched it off and TDU2 just popped into life. Just like that. No reason for it, it just did. xD Im in now!!! YAY!

Umm no? Not really. I mean, I bought the game, although I seem to have trouble even registering it with Atari and apparently my code has been redeemed. WTF? And no luck running the game..... Funnily enough, you seem to be driving that very car I was supposed to have :) V12 Vantage Carbon Black, the only reason I preordered from Play.com

Okay, to straighten out a few things. My card is 9800GT. It is suppported. I have just update it. My directX is 10. I am running windows XP. My DX has been modified and adapted to my windows (its the XP Pre Fix3). It has NO issues with running other games. Any other games. It is backwards compatible anyway. Admin.... DUH!!! There is no other account on my PC. I always install on admin.... Im not exactly a noob user, Im really into hardware and I have o/c'ed my pc and swapped parts, done custom mods etc. It all works. The only issue is the 0xC00000005 or whatever Access Violation error. From my research it basically is windows stopping the game from running as it thinks its a virus or something. It may or may not be this. Any other suggestions??

Im updating it right now. Hmm. Its and access violation. That means that windows is stopping it from running for some random reason....... Ill post more as I go along. Okay, so updating the drivers didnt help. Ill try and reinstall it.

Sorry for the bump but its a pressing issue.......... I waited for this game 3 months + 2 or 3 years since the rumors first appeared that it will be here!!!! And my error exception code is 0xC0000005 .

Too soon.... After a painfully long installation it crashes every time I try and open it. It just does not work. It simply says TDU2 QA something something has stopped working, it works out the error log and thats it. In the debug I found last lines to be ''Delete RTSSHOOK.........'' and two more lines. What IS the problem? My PC should be able to play this game.

I am torn apart.... Seth, Grin or Killadude, its a 3 way tie between them for me (I cant vote for myself can I? :)) I think Seth, because the bloom and colours are just pure awesomness :) I wonder how well will I do?

YAAAY!! I dont care if this topic gets bumped to Off-topic or else, but my copy of TDU2 has arrived! FINALLY!!!!! WOOT! I have been WAITING for it for AGES!!! Hmm, if any issues arise I might use this thread to post them and try and find a solution so dont delete/close it yet ;)

I went to option menu, pressed L just before entering controls menu, you need to keep it pressed all the time you are in there, wait till it finishes calibrating, select Lights and when you have the 'Select button' window open, thats when you release your button. Now you just confirm the selection and you are good to go. You should notice that whenever you flass your lights, they will actually switch off instead of on. ;)

Thing is I use HDR all the time. No exceptions. Right well I will take that into consideration. Also, my game has been heavily modded since those pics were taken, so there will be new ones coming soon ;) Paradise Island feat BMW :) Or maybe Other cars ;) But damn, I cant do online game anymore, Ive gone too far with the mods........ oh well ;) A trainer will change everything :)

I have an issue, an error occurse every time I try to install the mod. I cant install it! What do I do??? EDIT: It says I cant find the roadpatch.bnk.... damn.. EDIT2: Kill me and call me an idiot. I had that file in a folder with a changed name (I did this back in the days when I tried getting less lag online...) Now it works ;)
