omg, now they are doing a rollback to version 086 build 5. Maybe it's not such a bad thing that Xbox Patches are tested by microsoft for a week. Wouldn't hurt to test PC patches too before ruining everyones evening :oook: Anyway, I'm looking forward to a good cruise tonight!

lol, great timing ^^ Usually I'm all for patching the game, but they couldn't have chosen a worse time. After the last few patches, the servers were down for about an hour or two. Let's see how it turns out this time... EDIT: Launcher says that servers are online, but can't connect... I'll keep trying. If anyone is in the game and can confirm that the servers are indeed up, please post here.

Is there a way to play as police without online interactions? Don't get me wrong, I love hunting other players. It just happens so rarely that I'll never get the police car this way. Got called only 3 times now :(

Yeah, true. I was hoping to save some ingame money by paying real money, but was quite disappointed when I had to pay 1.8 million for my Veyron Sang Bleu :/

The map technique is the easiest thing in the world, I can't see how jumping might be easier. It works anytime, anywhere, and in any car. You can also use it to enter other areas that would be inaccessible otherwise. So that's what it does! I always thaught it was a bug/missing feature that the button does nothing when you press it. I'd never have thaught that you need to hold it. As the functionality is pretty useless, however, I don't feel like I've missed something :P I've read a couple of times now that people expected the GPS button to open the map. Dunno why this is such a common misconception.

Just drive up to the fence, open the map. After you close the map, you are a "ghost" for about 2 seconds, which is enough to drive through the fence. Really easy ;)

I heard that Eden is currently developing a Zoo Tycoon DLC, that will include Giraffes! You will be able to build your own zoo and then go cruising with your cars in the zoo! It also includes a jeep, that is visible on the picture in the background.

The casino poker tournament is really frustrating me... I won the first tournament (got a nice suit) and wanted to play the second level which costs 100.000$ to start. After a minute or so, I got disconnected from the TDU server. Which would have been ok if they had given me my money back and the chance to join another level 2 tournament. But no, I had to go back to level 1 and try again, losing my 100k. Now I was just about to win on level 1 again (only 2 other players left, I had 150k, the others only 50k each) but I got disconnected again. Naturally, my money was gone (again!) and I didn't gain access to lvl 2. Now I want to cry. EDIT: I decided to get hammered at the bar drinking cocktails. Maybe that will ease the pain...

Your processor is way too slow. I don't think there's anything you can do but to upgrade your CPU. EDIT: Check out this post, your CPU is in the deep red area -> too slow!

I don't agree with the petition. If you get 15fps your machine is slow, that's not really the game's fault. From what I've heard, the game feels much more laggy on the console if you're used to playing on a decent PC.

How hard can it be to get the German flag right? In case anyone hasn't noticed, the ingame German flag has gold on top, followed by red and black where it should be the other way round. But I guess it's ok to get that wrong for people who can't count ;)

I just unplugged the center speaker from my 5.1 surround system. The voices are only sent to the center, so I don't have to listen to them anymore. Engine sounds etc. go over the remaining 4 speakers, so I don't miss anything. The A-license instructor (marco?) sounds like URL from Futurama. Did anyone else think this while doing the A licenses? The Deluxe FRIM comes at "Competition" level 12, it has nothing to do with your overall level.

I had problems after the first patch that disappeared after the second patch. I'm just now downloading the next patch (v086 build 5), let's see how that works.

+1, I think that's the only valid definition for a noob car: "A noob car is a car driven by a noob."

Pandora isn't availible outside the US for some time now. It takes some work to get it running using proxies etc., that's too much trouble for most people. I really liked Pandora when it was availible in Germany, hope they'll reactivate it some day.
