The Old Guard

Well, can't say I agree or disagree with this. But I can say that since I finished the last few races and got bored setting lap times round some of the tracks my game has been sitting idly in my drive apart from the every-now-and-then occasion where I get stressed out and just want to cruise along. The Casino is pretty boring because most of the time in a driving game I want to "drive" not "play poker" and when I do want to do so there's not a player in sight. I've made a small club and recruited a bunch of random people I thought were pretty good after they beat me on a one-on-one duel, but it seems that they haven't been bothered to play the game for a while. Last time I saw another guy in my club was 2 months ago. In fact I've already removed it from my drive once, I only decided to re-install it fairly recently because I was a delusional -hat that thought there might still be signs of life, well, there is a slight resurgence but not enough to make a trickle into a torrent. So, as of now, I'll just wait and see what happens, I'm used to waiting for long periods, though usually with tougher projects like webcomics or big mods for my favorite game and not a ruddy patch that's basically taking the good part of "forever" to release.

YMMV, but if one thinks that the Veyron can be considered a classic (which I do) it'll never get old.

I can only assume that 7 of them are standard cars and one of them is a Grand Sport, the 7 cars are the ones he uses for the 7 days of the week and the other one is for, well.. IDK, convertible thrills at 220-250mph?

What? You hate it's sound? Well that's very strange indeed.. I love the sound the Scuderia makes, it sounds wonderful to me. Well then again, YMMV.

OK, I have both the 430 Scuderia and the 458 Italia for some time now, and quite frankly I can barely tell them apart from each other. They can go about as fast as each other, they're roughly around the same price range, both are quite fun to drive, and both have a Ferrari badge. The only minor bit that I think I can tell them apart is that the 430 Scuderia is slightly more fun to drive while the 458 is better looking. Anyone want to help me decide between these 2?

If you have Shift or Shift 2: Unleashed, you've probably already had a go on the infamous Nurburgring, the point of this thread is to see which one of us can run it the fastest in a car of our choosing, perhaps even challenge each other to see which is the better driver. I know the policy of Pics or it didn't happen, but I do believe I saw a green Lamborghini Miura recently, as well as a Toyota Supra, quite well tuned one as well. 420bhp thanks to a turbo, custom ABS brakes, and a decent body kit. Though the hood has holes in it apparently to keep the engine cool under usage, which if I'm honest puts me off a bit.

You know, though I have to admit that Atari or whoever did TDU2's 2 radio stations did at least a decent job, it could've been better if they added more variety and better music. And a Chat station, that would've been wicked to hear Stuart on the radio talking about things or maybe even Marco, well, what it could've been never was. (IMO only, and the opinions of maniacs make as much sense as the opinions of race car drivers about normal day to day cars.) Speaking of Chat Shows anyone remember VCPR? Hmm.. That's bravery on google's part, but also stupidity. I mean let's face it, facebook is about the biggest thing in the world since the birth of the internet, and though google maybe just as big as FB I certainly have doubts weather they'll be albe to pull this off or not.
