  2. No, not really; I changed the category to Class "D" according to my own criteria for classes, but when I start that particular mission and hop into the car, it still shows up as Class G.
  3. Thanks for the link, I altered the data accordingly but sadly it doesn't change anything. It still won't get into 5th/6th and still tops at 100 MPH.
  4. Guys, I'm not sure if this belongs here or not, but seeing as I am using the carpack I thought I'd give it a shot. First of all, again, I'm ever so grateful for your excellent work Mili, it really really brings back new life into my favorite racing game. My problem now is, I tried my hand at replacing some cars and altering their physics. One of the cars I replaced (worked without a problem) and altered the physics (which is the problem) is the Trans Am - mainly because of htat 39km car delivery mission which takes forever in the slow-ass Trans-Am. I replaced the Trans Am with a Pontiac G8 GXP I found at hf-garage, installed the car etc etc, The thing is, when I hope into the game itself and launch the mission, the car revs up just dandily, but for some reason doesn't go into 5th or 6th, even though I set and specified the amount of gears and their ratios. Also, the G8 tops at 160 km/h, yay. Please find attached screenshots from the physics editor. I would insert the tdupk file itself, but I for some reason can't export the specs. I only know of automobile-catalogue, but that only covers up to P. Peace!
  5. Hey :D It's actually really easy to add a car to the rentals yourself; open TDUMT, specify where your game is installed, open the vehicle manager. Look for the car you want, double-click it, get onto the category dealers and set the rental :D Easy as that.
  6. Alright guys - I have a problem. I tried to rename the Alfa 4C I copied over the heinous 155 Q4. I changed all references to the 155 to 4C in the TDUMT's Database and also changed the Name of the car in TDUPE. And I get a crash. Any clue? EDIT: NVM, fixed it.
  7. So, for example, if I replaced the 155 with the 4C and simply changed the 155 to 4C in the TDU PE files, I should be alright as long as I don't change the brand, right? But what if I, for example, replaced a TVR (cause I find all of the newer ones to be incredibly ugly) with a say Porsche, I'd run into problems the minute I chnge the brand and the name, am I right? Or did I misunderstand you there?

Milli, I'm not sure but for example, if I was to replace the Alfa 155 Q4 (I know it's a classic and all, but honestly, in my opinion it's a ghastly looking car), I can simply copy another car over it and rename it in TDUMT without any problems, right? asking cause when I used Djey's +200 Car Slot patch, it bitched up whenever I tried to change the name, causing the game to crash before it actually starts. Also, another question - you said you were adding the Saturn Sky (wouhou!) again and there's already 10 additional slots for us to play around, but is there a way to add even more car slots? What I mean is if there's a proper tutorial to do it myself cause there's still dozens and dozens of cars I have downloaded that I want to see in my game but I don't want to replace many of your cars cause I respect your effort very much and honestly I'm afraid of messing up.   9. Hey Milli, thank you an awful lot for all the effort and thought you've put in the car pack, it's insanely awesome to see all these new, exciting cars. However, please don't let this rub you the wrong way, I want to ask whether or not it'd be possible to add even more cars? Over the last months, I've collected roughly 150 mods from here, hf-garage, Zoqqers website etc.etc., and I got used to a lot of those cars in my playthroughs that are not in your car pack, for example the Lotus Evora GTE or the Ferrari Daytonas. Also, I wanted to ask whether or not I can change the price of the cars in the physics editor still since I'm for some odd reason obsessed with TDU being sort of realistic and I want to have a feeling that I worked hard and long to get my hands on a 36 Million Dollar 250 GTO. In any case, thank you very very much for your work!

  12. Hey Djey, it's me again after a while. I installed the new patch ran the TDUCP-2.00A-install. It does seem to complete the installation, but after the command line is done, the game CTD's upon startup. Which is well, not good. I get the following errors (translated from German) by the way, I think they're the reason for the CTD. .Patching game files, please wait... *1-Menu HI* The command "E:\modded" is either spelt incorrectly or couldn't be found. *2-Menu LO* The command "E:\modded" is either spelt incorrectly or couldn't be found. *3-Brand logos* The command "E:\modded" is either spelt incorrectly or couldn't be found. *4-Patch HD Level Data HI* The command "E:\modded" is either spelt incorrectly or couldn't be found. *5-Patch HD Level Data LO* The command "E:\modded" is either spelt incorrectly or couldn't be found. Before you ask, my modded TDU is in "E:\modded Test Drive Unlimited\". Should I simply rename the folder and the problem's solved or is there more to it? Thanks for the help!
  13. A savegame editor? Sounds good as long as you don't include the usual cheat-features. Speaking of editors, is there any way to mess about with existing races, particularly missions? Awesome as the cars are, I really am tired of always seeing the same cars in delivery missions. And that there's no cash rewards for those messed up hitchhiker missions if you manage to do then perfectly. Any way to edit them?

  15. Yeah, they did. Quite a few actually; it tells me that no files were copied. It also tells me the system can't find a specified path, whatever that means. The commands databasetool.cmd is either written incorrectly or can't be found at all. .cleaning can't find the specified path. updating awesomemap also fails. Should I manually copy the files in the installer folder?
  16. Thanks for the fast update, but after downloading the update, doing as the readme told me to and replacing the updated references for TDUPE and TDUMT, I still have the errors. I still can't modify the new 100 slots.
  17. Oh, I see... that explains a lot. HOWEVER, with the unlocked and fixed 29 vehicle slots, if I try to alter the physics for, say, the C6 Show n Go which I replaced with the C7 Stingray, I get an error with TDUPE which tells me I can't safe. I can continue or quit the application. Speaking of errors, I don't know if it's the same error you#re already working on a fix for, but if I launch TDUPE, the 100 new slots cause an array error of sorts. I can modify the other 100 slots just fine though.
  18. Hey Djey, I just upgraded my Alpha to your Beta 2 and everything works just fine. However, that being said, if I open, even after updating the vehicleslots.xml file, the TDUMT vehicle manager and set the view to modded names, I get an error telling me something about an Index. I haven't tried out if I can modify their data etc, but their modded names don't show. I can however set their dealer. Oh, one more thing, can you maybe help me out with a problem with my database (I can't attatch the database.zip file, it says the file upload failed...)? After changing the names on several cars that are being replaces (especially the Edonis which I replaced for the Lykan Hypersport and the TVRs which I replaced for an 1M, M3 E92 and NSX), they don't show up in the car dealership even after I re-set them their. I also changed their names the following way: open the car that's replaced in the database > carphysics view, opent he database resource editor and rename the corresponding model and version number. I did so with all replaced cars and they all show up, except the Lykan, The BMWs and the Honda/Acura. All the best and thanks for your amazing work! :ill:

Hey guys, as the description shows, I wanted to know whether or not it's possible to modify certain files with TDUMT, TDUF or another modding tool to make car delivery and/or courier missions repeatable? I'm asking cause I altered the price of every car, both vanilla and modded ones, I installed to match reality and some are insanely expebnsive. So I wanted to know if it's possible to fiddle with some files to make Missions, especially courier ones repeatable. Or if it's possible to alter hitchhiker missions to give money instead of cloth coupons? Best regards and sorry if it's the wrong forum!:p
  20. Hey :) I see... But even if I do this, if I set the camera for the Alfa Romeo to the Bike-Cam and change it, the bike will have a messed up cam while the cam for the Alfa works just fine, right? Anyhow. Can you please help me out again? I tried to attach the database zip file which for some reason didn't work... Anyhow, I have one or two problems, especially with the Carrera GT and the 550 Spyder I downloaded - they show up in the showroom, name and specs and all, but the cars themselves are not there. There's simply an empty space and nothing else which kind of confuses the hell out of me.
  21. Alright, I'll get the Update as soon as possible then. Another question if I may, this time however regarding your modding tools - I installed a GT40, but it's right hand drive. In theory, I do know how to switch the camera to right hand drive. But I can't. Modding tools has the option to modify the cam set grayed out. I can assign the normal cam and the IK, but I can't switch it to right hand, assign a hood cam etc.
  22. Hey guys, it's me. I have two questions. First of all, if I install the update from the Alpha to the beta, the cars I manually installed will all stay as they are, meaning I don't have to re-instal them, modify their physics again etc, right? Also, I have a question. I downloaded an Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, but the cam's all messed up. I replaced one of the TDUCP Slots with it (Slot 11 iirc), but the slot doesn't show up in the cameras.bin editor made by Miha. Is it possible to add the TDUCP Slots to the cameras.bin file so the unlocked/added slots will be useable to modify the cameras for cars that require it? Cause if I fiddle with the cam and change the settings of the standard cam for the Stradale (which is the Motorbike-cam), the motorbike will be all messed up... or will it? Does anyone know?   23. Hey DJey, it's me. Everything works dandily for the time being, but even after fiddling with tduf and inserting the real-life rim-diameter for the DeTomaso (and, frankly, every other car with that problem), I still have this space between rim and wheel. How do I fix this? Best regards!

  25. Well, this explains everything really. Again, thank you so much for your help! Oh, and if the wheels on the modded car are too big and/or sink into the ground, I simply have to look for smaller wheels, copy them and overwrite the existing TDUCP_3xxx.bnk file, right?
