What mitkop81 said is that it's hard to recreate the gearing for the Regera. I suppose the physics that tdu2 has won't allow just one gear. I doubt it's because the car would be boring.

Hello again, im back after little problem with my profile (it was deleted or disabled) but thanks to some people from Turboduck it's back and i am here again. Im glad to tell that Autopack 1.8 time came close. Maybe will not include all planed cars for it part because i have a little problems with my PC but the good news is that will include min 7 cars. Just need some fixes of the 3d models and cars database before releasing date. We are very gratefull to all for your patience and hope Autopack 1.8 to be so good like old parts, because honestly that time that i was away from the project little affect me and maybe now i am not so good like before. But still try to do my best.

So lately I have gotten this idea of having the Boss and Solar Crown vehicles replaced with brand new vehicles and I have conducted tests to see if this would actually work, which I will touch on a bit later in the thread.
 
Pretty much I feel that the developers missed the mark when it comes to the Boss and Solar Crown vehicles, they really should have made them unique vehicles that you can't buy from any of the dealerships. But instead they made them somewhat "special" versions of vehicles you can already buy from the dealerships. The only exception is the Ariel Atom 500 V8, which you win from the final Cup of the game.
 
So onto my idea, pretty much I would like to see a mod where this would happen and combined with AutoPack as well. I feel this kind of mod will bring a whole new replay aspect to the game and make the whole story line a lot more interesting. And before you ask, I have already been conducting tests to see if this would even work and they do. So here are some videos to show that this will work:

So as you can see, this works wonderfully and the 3D models even render perfectly in the cut scenes. All vehicle mods go to their respected owners, and were only for testing purposes only... Also there's a poll in place on this thread where you can vote if you would or would not like to see a mod like this in the future.
 
Now keep in mind that this might not actually happen and this was an idea that I suggested to Miktop81 and StarGT (who hasn't gotten back to me yet). Also, this would most likely be an optional add-on pack for those that would prefer to not have the boss and/or Solar Crown vehicles messed with.
 
Also keep in mind that the vehicles I used for testing were only used as examples and can be something else (as long as they allow the vehicle to stay in the class that the original vehicle was in). Here's a list I thought up.

Well we work at new version of the pack. But now we haven't so much time for it. Next part will include min 10 cars, wich need to be converted and added here. I know it was too much time for waiting, but the project is not death!!! The problem is that free slots are low and we have some wished cars for wich is payed. That's why some of planned cars wich not be released and will be replaced with this 5-6 other cars. Classic cars like more old BMW and Mercedes will not be included

I have done a re-tune of the BMW M4 Akrapovic to make it as realistic as possible. Here's a video on the stats and I also test it against 2 standard cars from the base game.

I have already sent my tune to Miktop81, so there's a chance to see the tune updated to AutoPack in the future.

Edit: Does anyone else feel like 918 Spider sounds like a Carrera GT more than a 918? In the mod, that is.

and that was and still is a nasty thing in this game from Atari...copy-paste cars like veyrons, zondas and Astons with just another colour or "special edition"...we discussed this before that are options for replacements ;)

i think Carrera GT should be added first...then another similar cars with current ones...
originals first...similars after...thats how i think is better

Great to hear that Chiron will be added to AutoPack 2.0 in may/july. Does it mean that during those 3 months AutoPack 1.8 and 1.9 will be released?

Bugatti Chiron is going to be in a future AutoPack? It has an AutoPack style plate, so I assume yes.
