  1. Yeah cool, but we're not going to. If Hassan/Rassva see an entry they're unhappy with they'll raise the issue, there's seriously no need for us all to have this debate every week, it's more tedious and dull than TDU2. Let's keep these threads for posting entries and complimenting everyone's pictures :)
  2. Good to see Toyota aren't making the same mistake they made with that god awful FR-S, 340hp sounds rather decent. That headlight looks very very similar to that on the FT-1 Concept, so hopefully the rest of it looks similar too, the FT-1 was rather stunning. That said, it was unveiled in 2014 and they said it had taken 2 years to get make it. If it's a 2018 car then it'll have taken 6 years to reach the dealerships, let's hope it's worth the wait, my expectations are higher.
  3. Sorry to hear about that Andreas, I know there's not much one can say at such a deeply personal and tough time but have a :glomp: from me, you, your grandmother and your family will be in my thoughts.
  4. The rear didn't show that big a difference to the concept (other than that extended rear bumper), most of the lines and light placement etc tended to be very similar. There's a lot less focus on the rear arches, they look less 'muscular' and it's starting to all look a bit BMW X6. The front has more noticeable differences, and from the camo shot these changes don't seem to be improvements, but I'll withhold condemning the Urus until it's actually revealed:
  5. This is one of the closest contests we've had in a while guys, if you haven't already voted make sure to do so :D
  6. I'm really looking forward to the new Rolls, we haven't had a brand new rolls with new rolls tech/interior for a while so I'm looking forward to seeing where they're taking the brand. It won't be a good looking car by any stretch of the imagination, but it'll be a gigantic SUV with suicide doors (ON AN SUV!?) and the rolls grille, definitely something to behold. On a different topic: Harry Metcalfe on Twitter: Refreshed F12 on the cards, 800+bhp? From a N/A V12, that's cray cray.
  7. Wow you can easily see where they've just plonked a new bumper on the back of it, the line right under the reg plate  What a disappointment. Probably for safety rating purposes or something but that has really wrecked the rear of the Urus. The name still sounds a bit like an STD but oh well.
  8. BMW M3 Competition Pack vs. Cadillac ATS-V vs. Mercedes C63S AMG vs. Alfa Giulia
  9. It's all a bit FIFA-y to me to be honest, cars on a track year after year but with a few new cars and improved weather graphics, for a lot of money  Maybe there's much more to be excited about and i'm just being a cynical grump, but I blame the trailer for that.
  10. The cars Lamborghini has designed and the prototypes they've unveiled... and the Urus is the one they actually put into production. Yes, of course it is the Cayenne-syndrome, we need the high selling SUV and its profit margins for the other cars to be feasible, especially in a post dieselgate VW empire. But what was their excuse before dieselgate? I think the Lamborghini Estoque is up there as one of the concept cars I wish was put into production the most.
  11. So we've got a GrandSport targa on its way and 100000 special editions :hmmm: It is an impressive car, but I'm just not sure I lust after owning one that much.
  12. Happy birthday m8, hope you've had a good day :)
  13. Moved to a more suitable thread :) Intriguing news, should be interesting to see what is released in 2020.
  14. The configurator doesn't let you change toooo much, as the doors are a bit too cream for my liking, the rest is fine though. If I had piano black i'd have to get rid of the brown though, and I quite like the brown/cream combo.
  15. It does look good though, does it not? I'm very against carbon fibre/alumnium interiors at the moment, I think the Walnut looks rather good :hmmm: I'd have to see it in person though, or else I'd go with Piano Black or something.
  16. Yes please  Though i'd have the black wheels without that silver rim, if that wasn't possible i'd spec a different wheel. They're a bit too chavvy C63 AMG for my liking. This is a very expensive car, no wonder Porsche are sharing this platform with Bentley, they've officially entered Bentley price territory.
  17. Hey Tom, Welcome to T'Duck! :) I stopped playing games after I finished TDU and GT4 pretty much, so we're on the same wave length when it comes to gaming. Feel free to share your photographs and insane car knowledge throughout the forums, will be good to have a new face around. I'm sure Hassan's told us all about us, he's my biggest fan :nods:
  18. It's as if Mercedes Benz saw James McAvoy's new film Split, in which he plays a character with a ridiculous amount of different personalities and thought.... LET'S MAKE THIS INTO A CAR. - Sports car - 4x4 - Luxury limousine - Drivers car - Car to be driven in - Soft top - Hard top
  19. As much as i'm kind of impressed at MB for releasing such crazy cars, this one kind of takes it too far. In most markets I feel this just wouldn't work, the rear passengers are just too exposed and in such an attention seeking vehicle this exposure might have bad consequences (unwanted pictures, things thrown into the back etc), though I don't think these would be an issue in Dubai, where this will be popular.
  20. Quite ironic that you're one year older considering your username is Timeless.
  21. Oh wow, I've always been quite meh about the Project One until that rendering. Though i'd have made the rear fin a bit bigger, more LMP1 size. Amazing front though, I doubt the real thing will be as good as that but still, very good looking super-hypercar, uber-car? As for the X-Class, yeah, we do tend to have a lot of commercial vehicles and Mitsubishi L200s/Nissan Navaros type pickups in the UK, so it's no surprise that they're getting a lot of interest. I'd have one and I don't need one.
  22. Yeah I figured that had happened to a lot of people, especially those on here. Shouldn't be too long until the next season of TG I think, last episode of S23 was in July 2016, and it's not usually just an annual thing. Maybe it will be an annual thing now and so we'll see it starting in May, but I'd like to see it back earlier than that, interested to see what non-evans TG can do.
  23. Last night/this morn marked the release of the last episode of Season 1, based in Dubai. Not that bad an episode really given the context of just how awful a few of the episodes were, but not amazing either, worth watching though. It's a shame we might never find out what the actual viewing figures are for the season, as they would be very interesting to see. There is a lot to improve between now and the start of Season 2, celebrity braincrush etc need to go. The biggest criticism I have because it's at the forefront of my mind is that the entry clip in the credits to show where they are that week usually contains 3 very interesting cars, cars more interesting than 80% of the content they have for the next hour, USE THOSE CARS. For the Dubai opening credits they had a Lamborghini Veneno, a Mclaren P1 GTR and a Lykan Hypersport. 3 very rare, very interesting cars to the core demographic of TGT, why not use the cars during the show?! It makes no sense. Maybe in the case of those 3 cars they wouldn't have had permission, but in previous weeks they've had interesting cars that they'd definitely be able to use, and they haven't.
  24. Crazy rate of progress. When should we expect the 488 Speciale or whatever name they're calling it? Scuderia plz :nods:
