  1. Is that any real surprise? I'd say their car is the one that looks the most like last years car, they didn't change much so there isn't that much to test :p Again, is that any real surprise? No, after how they performed last year I'd say that's the safest strategy. --- Post Updated --- McLaren on Twitter: McLaren's livery isn't the final one, they're changing it :panic: I wonder whether this was always the plan, or the awful feedback they got after being called lazy 'fools' has forced their hand? Either way :D
  2. :fp: Quoting some randomer off of the internet always makes every point solid, thx. I'm highly surprised an autocar person managed to give an opinion without something to do with Jaguar or Land rover coming up randomly I think the best thing to do here is to let the person who picked the themes make their decision, Tim/Santtu?
  3. It's like the Lotus Carlton to me, almost 400bhp but I wouldn't call it a supercar. But fair enough, if we're undecided I think it should pass i guess.
  4. Yah I agree, the cayman is a long way off being a supercar, most 911s aren't supercars either, the Turbo S, GT3 and GT2 might be the exceptions. Oh, and nice signature :cheeky:
  5. On the most part I get what you mean, but there are a few exceptions (I'll use mclaren as a example): MP4-13 was a very clean looking design yet looks very similar to modern cars in many ways: MP4-2, no idea why but I bloody love the design, it just works: There are a Few Jordans and other good looking F1 designs about, and then there's the really old designs that look
  6. I'd go as far to say that the cars are the most aesthetically pleasing they've been for a fair amount of years right now. It'd have been a year to remember if more of the liveries had been fun and imaginative.
  7. First posted updated with the other new releases. Few notes: - YAY SAUBER. Some new colour on the grid, I liked their previous livery but even so that Blue is an awesome addition to a lineup that has been disappointing *cough* mclaren, mercedes *cough*. - The Merc car really doesn't look too different to the 2014 car, though I guess they had a winning formula. - McLaren have received a helluva lot of awful feedback on that livery, the red paint pretty much stops half way down the car, it was such an afterthought, and why not go with a white/red honda livery? LAZINESS. - I like the Ferrari Livery, it looks as if thought went into it.
  8. Really disappointing livery to be honest, it looks so dull and boring compared to the livery of years gone by - though the black still stands out nicely on the grid it just isn't as aesthetically pleasing as it once was. I lot more sponsorships seemed to terminate at the end of 2014 it seems, I'm obviously expecting a fair amount more to start before the season begins but both liveries are looking a bit bare, I'd usually put this down to the time of year but considering the huge struggle McLaren has been going through to get a main sponsor (most likely Mr.Dennis asking for extortionate amounts of dollah) for the past year or two I hope it really isn't anything to be concerned about.
  9. What kind of sausage? Chipolata? Wurst? Hot Dog? GIVE US THE DETAILS GOD DAMNIT.
  10. This thread has made my hungry :( Edit: ME, not my. ffs
  11. Just the once? Today's been a great day for Milli then. Can we rename Milli to Milhouse please.
  12. No I agree with her logic that yours is more road car turned racer(ish), whereas I understood that theme to be more race car turned road-legal car. Dat civic.
  13. And since when do I post anything tduck related anyway
  14. I'm not sure I'd trust U2, I don't want the new theme and thread installed directly into my itunes without my approval :(
  15. haha I do love sniff petrol, he's always entertaining, great to follow during an F1 weekend too.
  16. I don't see why I should use a spoiler tag, as anyone that looks in here after an episode has been broadcasted....etc The first episode was good, a solid 7.5/10 maybe 8/10 when you keep in mind just how bad some episodes have been in the recent seasons: - I liked the challenge, it was entertaining and not too gimmicky, the hovercraft being the gimmick but very entertaining and it's not as if they'd stage that first fall from Richard tbh as it looked rather painful. I guess the point in the electric car was that it shows it can be done quickly in a basic, cheap electric car, I'm sure it'd have been just as fine if not easier with the Mercedes GL from the last challenge but I kind of understand the point. - I agree about the Huracan Review, it looks as if someone sat on the front, it's been too 'VAG-productified'. That said, I don't actively dislike how it looks and it sounds amazing. But I agree with Richard mostly. - I like ed sheeran as a person, I don't dislike his music but i wouldnt put it on my phone and it's overplayed on the radio, and I prefer it when TG has guests that LOVEEEEE cars, he's never even driven one, though they addressed this in that live Q&A last sunday by saying they've kind of had every big car fan on more than once, so they're struggling. - The apology thing was funny in the news bit, very Clarkson. And I understood where he was coming from with the mid-engined supercar GT comment.
  17. I'm finding it mental they managed to get that 007 Aston back in the race after that contact with the Ferrari hours ago.
  18. did you see the number 7 martini car almost collide with a golf caddy pit car just then?
  19. Fingers crossed that Alex Brundle's car will be fixed and back out.
