  1. I looked through this thread getting ready to cringe at any posts younger mike might have posted, thankfully didn't see any
  2. Considering people love the interior of the Panamera and hate the outside, if they've ruined the inside while not really improving the exterior then it'll be a major :fp: It'd still sell though haha. TBF that doesn't look too bad, they seem to be moving everything to be controllable on the infotainment screen which is fine.
  3. Love those rims from the DB10, great they'll be on a proper production car. I quite like the look of that from a first glance, I spotted it on Jalopnik about the same time you posted it here  That rear haunch is rather large. This could either be really beautiful or a huge disappointment.
  4. Cute little concept, I'm willing to give the Opel/Vauxhall bunch a bit of leeway as it's just good to see them coming up with concepts and sporty looking things after a period of awful dull creations. That 718 is  Absolutely stunning. I agree the radar/camera in the bumper is a bit meh, and the rear diffuser plastic area looks a bit basic (but it has done on the previous model too, just wished it had changed....)
  5. I watched it this morning, it's fairly decent. If you like James May and what he brings to the TG trio then it's definitely for you, it's more of that entertaing nerdiness.
  6. :hiya: Welcome Test Driver. :D Be careful that our resident iSoundwave doesn't try and buy that avatar off of you, he's a bit obsessed.
  7. Happy Birthday! :D

  8. Well yeah that was the intention really. With this gen of 911 I'm not sure I find any/many that amazing aesthetically, so I'm more interested in the weird/quirky models such as this one, but yeah I think I prefer the non-flatnose version.
  9. Hey there! Welcome to TDUCK, don't hesitate to contact me if you need any help or whatever (I'll most likely have to direct you to someone else for any legitimate advice though :p) Thx, Mike
  10. You're on the other side of the world and even you are aware of how crap it is :p Evidence of how widespread its sphere of influence is.
  11. Can't really agree with this, both the website and the physical newspaper and very popular and very influential and although I agree with your judgement of their usual demographic, it's definitely not something to dismiss and scoff at. Another day, another anti-topgear article  New crisis for Top Gear as boss in charge of getting Chris Evans' revamped version on screen quits BBC | Daily Mail Online
  12. It's been getting under my skin for the past few months to the point i've gone and wasted the past 20+ mins compiling this list of the sheer amount of anti-topgear propaganda the Daily Mail is trying to force on its readers. It's complete and utter BS and although yes, things aren't looking amazing, they're so excited and trying their hardest to force this failure and I'm unsure why, as they hate clarkson just as much. They go in chronological order, first being the oldest (start of december) and last being the most recent. Chris Evans' Top Gear is 'in crisis' after crashes and key staff quitting | Daily Mail Online Executive producer lisa clark leaves top gear after five months | Daily Mail Online Chris Evans' Top Gear in turmoil as David Coulthard joins as a presenter | Daily Mail Online Chris Evans quits TFI Friday due to Top Gear commitments | Daily Mail Online Top Gear's Chris Evans ‘holding up filming as he can't talk and drive at same time' | Daily Mail Online Chris Evans says Top Gear was 'apocalyptic' after Jeremy Clarkson assault | Daily Mail Online David Coulthard snubs Top Gear co-presenter role to front Formula One coverage | Daily Mail Online Top Gear's Chris Evans 'clashes with BBC chiefs over Lisa Clark's resignation' | Daily Mail Online Top Gear's Chris Evans halts filming as he climbs out of the car to VOMIT | Daily Mail Online
  13. I didn't find that review to be as positive as I'd thought, all in all it seems to have fitted into the class it's supposed to fit into, with all the hype surrounding its reveal etc it all made it sound as if this was some crazy OMG FORD YOU LEGENDS LULZZZZZZZZZZ vehicle, when in reality it's nothing too out of the box. I think I'd rather have the A45 AMG, without that silly rear wing. I think i'd rather have the GLA45 AMG actually :hmmm:
  14. Interesting to read about McLaren poaching the head of VW motorsport.
  15. I only follow BTCC from a bit of a distance as I tend to watch F1 when that's on, and forget to watch BTCC the weekends F1 isn't on, but I'm really happy that Subaru have joined up, it should make things much more interesting :D
  16. New Vauxhall GT coupe confirmed for Geneva 2016 show | Auto Express Vauxhall are going to release a new GT-Coupe at Geneva.... .....part of me really wants it to be related to or a badge engineered version of that new Buick but I think it'll be sod all like it and be nothing as fast if the reports are anything to go by. Such a shame.
  17. That VLF looks okay-ish from some angles, but that pic of it that CLR posted is not a good angle for it at all, looks awful, you can tell why most if not all other pics are from lower down. That Apollo? Sexiest Iron ever. That Pagani? Most crazy diffuser ever (if it's road legal anyway). Looks amazing.
  18. The new Lincoln Continental has leaked (again) before its supposed unveiling tomorrow: Pictures from Jalopnik - Drive Free or Die I really like it, the front bumper isn't as good as it was on the concept (reminder http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--mahRUV3q--/fk5ov8ayu1fa8obyxf0a.jpg) but the inclusion of those doorhandles from the concept, that rear light bar and good looking interior makes this a rather quirky and cool alternative to the main german and british luxury vehicles.
  19. I absolutely adore that crossroad, in that colour, I'd probably add a slight tint to the windows and it would be perfection. Have they solved the reliability issues with it? (If there were any) The crowd over on jalopnik tend to use the Allroad as an example of one of the least reliable vehicles ever haha
  20. Also, can I just add that I really don't like the whole headlight design at lexus at the moment, the fake metal swoosh in the shape of where a normal sized headlight would be. It's clever and modern sure, but it doesn't look that good from some angles and when the car is stationary and up close it can look absolutely god awful. A quick glance at high speed makes it look great but that isn't the case most of the time.
  21. That E-Class is growing on me in design, I think the proportions suit a car of that size more than it does on the C or S. There are a lot of exciting cars being released at Detroit, but out of them all this one had me interested the most (No, i'm not turning into calster I promise :p) The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica: The outside looks fab, but the inside looks god awful traditional minivan. It's a shame :hmmm: Will we be seeing it in Europe as a Fiat (or chrysler?) I hope so.
  22. I really like that Lexus, first one i've liked since the LFA I think. But yeah those fake exhaust things are the worst I've seen so far. That aston engine sounds amazing, 5.2 litre twin turbo? I have a feeling Astons are going to have rather different performance from here on out.
  23. Any news on any possible Avistas with Opel or Vauxhall badges on? As obviously Buick is the third in that GM badge-engineering trio. 3.0 400hp V6 would stand out a fair bit in comparison to the rest of their range of models so i'm not very optimistic we'll be seeing it in europe, if we do it'll most likely have a 4 pot
