  1. But shy the M3 is a Saloon/coupe, the S5 and supra's are coupe's, the challanger a muscle car, but then so is a Viper (has been described as one) so all this catagorising is useless as all cars fall into one or more catagory. You could argure that a supercar needs to be mid engined and so on.
  2. This is the trouble by trying to put cars into groups you end up with high powered saloons as supercars etc etc. Catagorising cars, music always leads to debates as everyones opinion of what catagory it falls into is different.
  3. Diablo, not trying to draw you into this deabte but if a Vette is a spotscar then its in the same catagory as an MG TF or MX 5 as they are sportscars. I do agree that supercar is banded about but wouldn't some be known as hypercars?? as I'm sure that is a term now so say an Veyron, Enzo etc are Hypercars where as a Vette, Viper are supercars.
  4. Missing quite a few on that list, Mclaren F1 (any version), Diablo, Veyron, ACR Vper, ZR1, Miura, the list goes on
  5. Its tough between AMG and Brabus, AMG have produced some amazing cars lately but I've always been partial to a Brabus
  6. Wow, a very nice collection of photo's you've got there. Welcome to the forum, look forward to seeing more
  7. Apple to sell copy protection-free songs Apple has agreed to start selling digital songs without copy protection software from its iTunes store along with over-the-air download songs for its popular iPhone, according to people familiar with its plans. Skip related content The maker of the iPod is also set to announce a deal to roll out variable pricing on digital songs at the iTunes Music Store with songs priced between 79 cents (53 pence) and $1.29. Apple is expected to announce the changes at the Macworld Expo trade show in San Francisco later on Tuesday. Copy protection software, also known as digital rights management or DRM, has proved a controversial topic with music fans and record labels alike. DRM was designed to prevent fans from illegally sharing digital downloads on file-sharing services. But it also prevented many fans from moving their own songs between devices and became increasingly unpopular. Apple's founder, Steve Jobs, publicly called on major record labels to drop DRM in February 2007. In exchange, labels have been asking that iTunes agree to sell songs at variable prices. Currently, iTunes sells all individual songs at 99 cents regardless of their popularity or date of release, unlike most other retail outlets. Apple is also expected to announce details to allow iPhone 3G and iPod Touch Wifi users to buy songs while on the go, over the air through its popular App Store. 8. Honda reportedly kills S2000 replacement, V8 program, RWD Acuras by Damon Lavrinc on Jan 6th 2009 at 12:58PM Honda's attempt to right-size its development schedule and cope with the economic downturn apparently extends beyond the cancellation of the next NSX. According to Autocar, HoMoCo is right-sizing its plans for the next two years, and that includes rethinking the development of a range of rear-wheel-drive Acuras, a new V8, a convertible based on the CR-Z and the S2000's successor. Acura seems to be carrying the weight of the bad news, with its RWD 7-series rival, originally due out in 2015, cancelled indefinitely, along with development of a V8 engine that would allow the brand to compete with the best and brightest from Germany. The Euro-market Legend could also be on the block and there's a chance that Honda will stop developing two separate Accord models for sale in the U.S. and abroad, instead opting for one mid-size sedan to be sold worldwide. Unfortunately, the development cease-fire also extends to Honda's smaller offerings. Honda planned to release a drop-top version of its CR-Z after the hybrid goes on sale next year, but that model has been nixed. Even more disturbingly, 2009 will be the last year of production for the S2000, with no heir apparent waiting in the wings. We're hoping to get more details on the cut-backs as the week progresses, but needless to say, there's more than enough disappointment to go around. [source: Autocar] From Autoblog
  9. Shy them cars aren't "cheap" and cost lots to develop, and as Hybrid says with the financial climate, most manufacturers are trying to stay afloat and this would be seen as wasting money.
  10. Cheers Speed, just added. Anyone else, don't mean to keep on but want to keep it upto date.
  11. No, when you move from Broker you go to Bohan you can no longer get a cab off Roman then after that you go to Algonquin. Once in Algonquin you can phone Roman again for a Cab and he has the Calvacades iirc, just wondering if he has new premises located somewhere like he did in the Broker.
  12. ----------------------- Possible Spoilers ----------------------- Right nearly all of us know what happens on the first Island but where is Romans New Premises When you move over to the next Island?? Just curious more than anything, to whether it exists or not
  13. If I'm honest I let most of them go, only if they really bug me I'd pull the trigger. In this case tho, Dwayne has helped me a bit and so have one or two others.
  14. True but someone saying A or B could mean alot of things. But remember anything you do has an outcome and locks or unlocks part of the game later on. OUt of curiosity did you kill him on the construction site??
  15. Well by the title of the thread doesn't really give much away, who said it was about killing them?? by opening the thread and reading you have spoiled it ;)
  16. I have personally had enough with the NFS series so that rules that one out for me. So its between MC:LA or Burnout. MC:LA I haven't really played alot but can be frustrating and the races are very long. Online is pants its only different games of capture the flag, so it gets boring quick. But there is alot of DLC coming for it. Burnout is good. I enjoyed playing it for a good while but crashing gets annoying after a while. Online is good with all the challenges but you need to have various amounts of people on at different times to be able to complete them. Trouble is now not alot of people go on it. Hope that helped mate
  17. IMO you wasted the wrong person. Dwayne is more genuine than Playboy, I hat playboy and had no hesitation to kill him. Dwayne gives you some homies (if liked above 75%) to help you on missions. But imo he was more levelled than Playboy and deserved a chance a bit of luck if you will.
  18. The trouble with alot of our american friends is that they haven't heard of anything outside the USA. I think its something like 70% - 80% of them have never left America or do not know where other countries are. Thats why allot of them think everything comes from the USA and in england we vote for our Queen apparently, i never knew that.
  19. As Tim said check where it is Dr, on the new posts on the far right column tells you the section as does at the top of the thread ;) Fair play Tim, all them Megs do add up a bit, and as episodic content will become the norm soon, GTA, then I think there might be a call for it. I'll just work out some ideas and looks for it and see if I can get a way of doing it. The only problem I can see is TDU for example if I list all DLC and downloads it a list form this list is going to be Marjory long, but on the other hand if I list the DLC as a whole say all TDU car packs total size it doesn't show what each pack size is as some may want some DLC not all. As I said I will look into it but will need to do something to manage the list length
  20. Nice collection overshadows mine alot. Doubt I've even got 1/4 of what you've got. Why copy and paste could just PM a mod to merge the threads. ;)
  21. I don't think it has stopped as they keep bringing out different versions, ok the original one may have stopped but I'm sure they are still making them, especially if some rich person goes to them flashing the cash.
  22. Yeah they used LP400, LP400s and LP500s and 5000QV (LP500 was the prototype). Sama as the Miura was P400 but you had S, SV, SV/J, SV Spyder. So yes the did use the P/LP numbering system but they use S and SV, etc rather than -2 and -4.
  23. Theres a thought, but DLC only tends to be a few meg here and there and not everyone has it, but still a good idea and worth looking into, what does everyone else think?? I like the idea of the defrag you come up with as I bet there is no order to how the HDD saves all the stuff and I bet it is quite messy, like TDU getting save data fro one bit, some DLC from the middle and some from the end. But then only MS knows how that all works
  24. I think I'm gonna double my saves and go both ways now, especially after what you said Diablo, kinda threw my judgement a bit and back to square one if you will, with the original dialemma. Also Packie and the rest seem closer to him than they do Francis. This is still my 1st game but in response to Diablo's spoiler
