  1. Nice car looks mean. You might want to resize your pics to 800 x 600 as thats the forum rules ;)
  2. I have one of those :D . one question though, will the 2007 winners keep there ones or have them archived in there profile somehow so then people know we are previous winners?? I say this as no one will bother looking through old threads to find out who's won what
  3. 2 out of 3 is good, alot better than what I done
  4. And once you've told an insurance company of the mods then they will add a few 0's on the end of the quote. Also if you go down the not tell them route, your insurence is invalid so if you have an accident or get asked by Mr Plod your in deep doo doo. Don't mean to ruin your dream, but most people I know rarely get a quote for under £1000 unless they are female or are on their parents insurence. So adding bits will kill the insurence.
  5. Rumours I have heard is that the awards have been changed slightly due to the fact of how we've grown, but thats all I know, got no idea what the changes are but it'll make the wait more interesting as everyone tries to guess what they are lol.

  11. In the UK to be classed officially as a classic and be excempt from UK road tax it has to be pre 1973 iirc. The rules are going by this but he changed it a little to pre 1970. All them cars are classics in their own right but the term classic is being used slightly differently. Shar's next door neighbour has that model on a H plate which is 1st Aug '90 to 31st July '91, so its probably a late '80s, early '90s model
  12. Nope as its mid '90's and the rules say pre 1970
  13. Can't really answer about camera mods but I know there is some car mods and other stuff your'll find interesting in our Mod Shop Welcome to the forum
  14. Alot of good pics but I never knew the BMW 5 series, F40's and the countach we're pre 1970  Quoting pictures is against forum rules ;)
  15. REPORT: Alonso has secret four-year deal to join Ferrari F1 by John Neff on Dec 29th, 2008 at 8:32AM F1 ace Fernando Alonso has reportedly signed a secret, four-year deal to drive for Ferrari starting in 2011. The Spanish driver first made waves in F1 while driving for Renault, during which time he became the the youngest ever Drivers' Champion and added a second title at the expense of F1 legend Michael Schumacher. After a disappointing though lucrative season in 2007 with McLaren, Alonso returned to Renault in 2008 and recently signed a two-year extension through 2010. Once that contract expires, the rumored secret four-year deal with Ferrari will begin. We're told that both Alonso and Ferrari have a number of out clauses in case things go awry, though the unconfirmed deal means that at least one of Ferraris current drivers, Kimi Raikkonen or Felipe Massa, won't be wearing red come 2011. In fact, Alonso could join the team even earlier if Raikkonen performs as poorly in 2009 as he did last year. [source: Guardian.co.uk | Photo by Getty Images Rumormill: Alonso could have switched to Ferrari immediately by Jeremy Korzeniewski on Jan 3rd 2009 at 5:02PM Fernando Alonso, who some believe is the best driver in F1, has seen his name in the news a lot these last few days. First, reports popped up that the Spanish racer has signed a (still unsubstantiated) secret deal that would put him in the seat of a Ferrari Formula 1 car beginning when his contract with Renault expires after the 2010 season. According to the latest set of rumors, Ferrari actually wanted Alonso to break his contract with Renault for the upcoming season, but the driver chose to honor his current deal out of loyalty. If true, Alonso would have taken Kimi Raikkonen's seat at Ferrari, racing alongside Felipe Massa. The starting grid for Formula 1 has always been a bit of a roundtable affair, and these most recent rumors would appear to keep the ongoing soap opera going for the next few years, at least. 19. FIA-GT1 Nissan GT-R spied, LeMans specs rumored by Damon Lavrinc on Dec 26th 2008 at 1:00PM Japan's Auto Sport magazine has procured a handful of shots and some preliminary specs on the FIA-GT1-ready Nissan GT-R, and judging by the modifications and performance stats, Nissan is planning an all-out assault on the series and a possible campaign at LeMans. In order to get the GT-R up to snuff, NISMO has fitted the super coupe with a full body kit, GT-style wing, plexiglass windows, upgraded brakes, wheels and ducting, along with a hood reminiscent of the unit fitted on the SuperGT GT500 class GT-R. Informed speculation says that Nissan has ditched the twin-turbo'd 3.8-liter V6 in favor of a V8, possibly the 4.5-liter VK45DE used on the SuperGT racer. The Nissan GT-R LM is rumored to be putting out 542 hp and 448 lb-ft of torque with a curb weight of 3,417 pounds and a price tag somewhere in the ballpark of 18,000,000 yen, or just under $200k US. Production is rumored to be limited to 300 units total, with 10 vehicles being built each month. The LeMans car would only be sold to teams competing in the enduro, with a price tag of 65,000,000 yen ($720k US), 592 hp, 506 lb-ft of torque and tipping the scales at 2,976 pounds. There's still no confirmation when Nissan will begin campaigning the GT-R in a series outside of SuperGT, but don't be surprised to see an LM-spec car in at least one series in 2009.
