1. Yep an x58 socket iirc, MSI have just made one
2. Well when they come out they will be astronomical prices, iirc they will start to release the new chips towards the end of this year with the 8core ones coming mid - end of next year just do a search for Intel Nehalem or i7 and you should find something with dates and specs they released earlier this month. And a new mobo would be needed as they are x58 sockets.
3. Both my controllers are wireless, the plug and play charger has a usb on the end and that lets you play whilst it charges but I don't know where it is as I use the battery charging station thing as I have more than one battery. So its £30 and use my existing controllers or £25 and get a wired one. Just wondering if anyone used one of the recievers and if they are any good
4. True but I've already got 2 pads so I don't really need another one but on the other had it would be cheaper than this.
5. More new info added to 1st post. and below for you lazy people: New Xbox Experience: Themes and Friends Channel In this weeks Developer Diaries, we take a look at the new themes and the Friends channel. This is to follow up on the themes we showed you at E3. We’ve got some new screenshots that show what the new themes will look like, as well as how current themes will appear. We also take a look at the friends channel, which is where you’ll see your friends avatars (don’t worry…the friends list as you know it is still available in the guide.) Head on over to Flickr to see more screens and the Gamerscore blog for more details. From Major Nelson
6. Does anyone use the Xbox 360 Crossfire: Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows and is it any good??? Thought this might be better than buying a gaming controller as I can use the one I've already got
7. Looks good, and looks like you would meet the specs, personally I would leave DDR3 til the new Intel processors come out middle of next year as they are rumoured to be oct core (yes 8 cores) and will only run with DDR3 and I belive they are 32nm aswell. But that I think will give you enough oomph to run TDU, heres the TDU requirements list and you seem to have better than is listed
8. Becuase the name marrua is already used by a frim that makes off road vehicles and military vehicles in Brazil. http://www.agralemarrua.com.br/siteIngles/oMarruaUtilitario.asp
9. Wow, anything that can do 0-60mph in less than 3 seconds is imense. It also keeps a kinda luxurious cabin aswell which most cars of that loose.

new car

Looks good keep us updated with pics of your mods
11. I think it is, it would be pointless putting up all them lights and just use them for the race and not for quali and practice
12. Thanks all, had a good one, didn't get much, mainly money which is going into the PC fund, well I say fund more payment for the credit card bill. Also got a pair of jeans and a massage off a quite attractive young blonde that Shar paid for . Diablo, you should always knock first, I hope what you saw didn't shock you to much, lol Iced the big build is tomorrow.
13. Its only 24hrs, it'll probably take longer. At least I can get some offline stuff done.
14. I like this Idea alot, the Scania desevres to be on something better than an SSR as it has a 500bhp, 580bhp or 620bhp V8 engine, and as it wont have a loaded trailer it can go pretty quick. Also would you be able to use one of the mods from euro trucuk sim or 18 wheels of steel as they are made in zmodeller???

PC Help?

He needs to own the pc before he can run that ;)
16. Strange, does anyone use browsers apart from IE, BT or FF so we can see if it is just IE and BT with the problem??
17. Never knew that, cheers Iced No just me being a muppet
18. Not on IE or BT browser, the pic in the 1st post is from IE. Looks like in making a suggestion I've found a problem or its just me as always. Edit: Turkey you could've edited that down as the pics are quite small
19. Had this thought the other day and thought I'd ask about it. On other sites they have a custom icon next to the address in the address bar, on the browsing tab and in your favourites (i.e. vodafone has a vodafone logo) but all we have is a standard icon. Heres a pic showing what I'm on about, obviously this is in IE so not to sure whether any other browsers use them or not. Would this be a good thing to add to the site?? Also thought we could have a compatition to create one as its just a 16x16 pixels and be saved as an .ico format (Windows Icon File). Just a thought, let me know what you think.
20. Should've kept it 2d rather than making it slightly 3d, would have worked better and been like the originals.
21. save the congrats until its built and working, lol.
22. More new info added to 1st post. New Xbox Experience: A look at Avatars Ever since Avatars in the new Xbox experience were unveiled at E3 eariler this year, people have been asking to see more. In this week's Developer Diary, I do a quick look at the Avatar creation section of the new Xbox experience. While this is by no means a complete walk- through, it will give you an idea of what is coming with this part of the new Xbox experience. (click link to see video) From Major Nelson.
23. Its all here, apart from the DVI to VGA lead which I forgot to order which means I have to wait til next weekend before I start building it as I'm away this week.
