    I want to ask you guys: If you're in a moving vehicle and take a pic of another car going approx the same speed, is it still considered a panning shot? After all, the subject will still be in focus and the background will be blurred. This is just something i need clarifying

Then focus on a particular spot on the subject, and just rotate your body smoothly to follow the subject. Pin your arms to your side, this will make it more stable and the photo less blurred

    Not meaning to be criticising you, but you do realise that if you keep aggressively enforcing the rules, people will slowly stop bothering about the contest and eventually this will die out, right?

    Yeah the firmware is one thing the customer support suggested i do. And these problems only started showing up - guess when? Just after a year after it was purchased, i.e. just as the one-year warranty ran out. And I don't mind the "clicky" buttons, i really don't, but the issue is that nowadays you have to press the button really hard to get a response. And then there are times when it responds wrongly, e.g. when i press the "skip track" button, the player instead goes to the previous menu...

    Wa-hey! I have one too! So great to see you buying Singaporean :D But how long have you had it? I bought mine in Dec 07 and am now starting to have quite a few problems with it. E.g. the buttons are wonky (unresponsive and sometimes not going to completely the wrong menu), some files disappear randomly, a number of songs have their names screwed up (like "Linkin Park" becoming just "L") and up till recently completely not able to go to "clean up" mode. Up until say a year ago, i'd definitely have said "other MP3 player" simply because iPods are too darned common. Now though, with the aforementioned problems, I'm not so sure. I suppose now the main determinant will be price. The good thing about Creative products is that they are MUCH cheaper. My Creative Zen 8GB cost me $300, whereas an iPod Nano 4GB cost $350, and yet the Zen had so much more functions and features than the Nano

    Same. I'd rather be able to enter a shot i took within the past 2 weeks than go out for another one, though to be fair, panning shots aren't that hard to achieve. Just sit by the roadside anywhere for an hour or so...

    T1M for me. Was almost gonna vote Reaper, but then the main focus of the pic (as in the area of the pic your eye is drawn to) seems to be the car in the middle, which doesn't really look like it's crashing

    I can see the pics fine. As for the mods, I think they're amazing. One question though - will the damage be as advanced as the regular cars in the game?

    You did those without a tripod? How? That's remarkable for a handheld shot! Unless of course it wasn't handheld and you cheated by placing it on a railing or something... ;)

    Another question: You say there are police cars in the patch, even for online mode, but does it mean they will start chasing you? One thing I like about online was not having to worry about a massive fine if i got stopped by the cops. Also, if the police do chase you, what will other people cruising with you see? Finally, you say Nissan 350Z rims fixed (i assume you mean the Nismo rims). But what about the Saleen, Alfa GT and Merc SLK rims?

    I see nothing wrong with the Passat. Certainly not as bad as the various Mercs on the previous page. And actually, i rather like the Jaguar's rims. Just not the interior...
