Found this: Dear Troubled User: This is a very common problem that men often complain about. Many people upgrade from GIRLFRIEND 7.0 to WIFE 1.0.1 thinking that it is just a utilities and entertainment program. WIFE 1.0.1 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING. It is also impossible to delete WIFE 1.01.1 and return to GIRLFRIEND 7.0. It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed. You cannot go back to GIRLFRIEND 7.0 because WIFE 1.0.1 is designed not to allow this. Look in your WIFE 1.0.1 manual under WARNINGS: ALIMONY AND COMMUNITY PROPERTY. I recommend that you just keep WIFE 1.0.1 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application YES DEAR 2.7 to alleviate your program problems. The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway. WIFE 1.0.1 is a great program but it tends to be very high maintenance. WIFE 1.0.1 does come with several support programs such as CLEAN AND SWEEP 3.0, COOK IT 1.5, and SEX 4.2, however be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program NAG NAG 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of WIFE 1.0.1 is to purchase additional software. I recommend FLOWERS 2.1 AND DIAMONDS 5.0. WARNING!! Do not under any circumstances install SECRETARY WITH SHORT SKIRT 3.3. This application is not supported by WIFE 1.0.1 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system. Best of Luck Tech Support

You're right. It was the best sim. Until patch Y came out... now it's all F-ed up... Can't even get above 4th gear in the BMW Sauber, the controls seem to have been reset...

Actually, those Brabus rims were smaller than the Ascari ones by about 30kb... I don't know why it screwed up... :(

Hey I just had a go at rim replacing, and noticed a few folders marked Brabus, Citroen, and Mazda. These aren't cars you can find in the game right? The new WRX STi doesn't look that bad... And the new Evo rocks! I can understand why you don't like the Scooby, what with its "Euro-isation", but why don't you like the Evo X?

A lime green Mini Moke (no doors, was quite funny to see), a silver MG TF (rare here) and a completely riced-out Mitsubishi Lancer (non-Evo) with a front bumper like a new GTR <YUCK!!>

I also average 25 FPS... It's never gone above 30 ever since I installed the game... i think i could go faster still if I didn't keep going out of control on the jumps... May have a solution though...

This was probably the hardest PoTW I've ever done... Took so many pictures over almost 3h of TDU... Intended to only do 30mins!!! What I meant was if you were keeping to the right (slower lanes), and those lanes were clear, and there is a car on the left (fast lane), do I have to move over intentionally and get stuck behind him?

Hey I know it's really late, but is it ok if I change my car from the Noble to the Viper? I try to make the mileages on my cars even as possible and my Viper is a whole lot less than the Noble. Also, when you're on the motorway, and cruising on the 2nd-fastest lane, if there's a traffic car on the fast lane, does that mean you have to go in the fast lane and wait behind him? Because that kind of goes against the logic of driving on the road in real life...
