Yes, all of the packs on Xbox Live are safe to download. Additionally, if you want to see the real cars and not the red/yellow one, download all of the free cars (singular, not packs that cost 350MS points per), and it will load the pic of the download cars so you can see them.

yes, my mileage isn't accurate, and my cars have been known to lose a digit (hundreds or thousand digit, it just disappears, to a 0)

yes you can get the dlc's in north america (i live there trust me), i think wouldwide. the only thing i thionk is region -specific is the bonus car giveaways that people get from the atari forums (with the code).

Well, RT 12 and Rturbo are definitely the two fastest as far as i am aware (RGT is slow -like class D). Unfortunately, I do not own the Rturbo and thus cannot compare them, but I was always under the impresion that the Rturbo was faster. The RT12 has a pleasing interior, is not a little bland. And the green gauges can be a little funky, but they work well and can always be seen. For drifting, the preffered one is the turbo, but as you didn't mention this i don't know if it's important. The RT12 is very fast for a B-class (when tuned); moreso for it's top speed (called 226, higher as with all cars in tdu) and acceleration than it's handling (it can get a little tail-happy, and even want to go rear-out on high-speed sweepers (think southeast of island). Hope that helps. With my experience, the rt12 is a very good car but i can't accurately compare them wwithout owning the other... sorry

HuDyMa, i was cruising with you some yesterdayt (before we all changed to caddys and i left), and it looked like it was a great performing car, but I still think it's not modeled right. the back end looks... truncated (excuse big words) -I know the angle off the roof doesn't end until the full rear of the car, but in the game it looks like the whole rear is too short & stubby (if that made sense to anyone)

also, assuming you still have an "F" class car, that's not uncommon, and it's very difficult to avoid. WHat car are you driving normally? also, welcome! add me if you feel like it - i'll answer in like a week and then cruise with you some.

[bump but whatever] Porsche Unleashed was good, as were most before Hot Pursuit 2, and i'm not going to call a definite "best", but HP2 was definately the last good one. If they made one that was basically HP2, with free roam, it would be the best game ever. Too bad atari already made it: TDU. lol.

Well, i chose the first one because at many times the brakin g system is redicolous, but i've gotten used to it and I'm afraid that if atari tried to make ssome other fix, the cars would 'sail majestically into trees,' not becasue of lock-up, but becasue of a lack of braking power. So I almost chose the third option. the best example of this / the reason i'm thinking this is becasue, if for instance you set the steering sensitivity low, it Isn't linear with the stick, it just slows down the wheel so you have tto steer full to the side sometimes a full second early, so that by time the wheels have turned, the turn is still at where you are (instead of behind you) And, i wish that in the higher driving aid opptions (that i only use when i'm not going fast and don't want to feel like a mad mad,) had ABS. THat would be a lot easier. ... i just wrote a big 'ol essay. wow, i feel proud.

Well, I voted yes, and agree very much with Craigie. For the forum to stay alive, it needs to adapt. However, on the other hand, I don't want the forum to get overrun by forza people. And I don't really see any way around that if a forza section is started, and gets popular. If [the forum] is lucky, the people who join this for forza will be like those who joined for tdu - people tired of the BSing that will inevatibly happen on the forza site. and yes, i joined forzacentral, and it sucks. actually, after having been active on this forum for a while, other ones really start to look like rubbiish ( in general appearance/neatness as well as orginization). and on that congrats to diablo and baldred (and other mod's if there are others i missed) so, what was I saying? yes to forza2 section. just, for the people who came for TDU and are active on it, don't let it overrun the best racing/driving game ever.

I use the method explained above, so I'm not going to repeat that, but one other point of advice I can give is to lock anyoine you're trying to stay with, so it doesn't bump whoiever you are ctuising with into another server. if there was a cruise, i'm not a noob but pretty new here, I would join. And i'm already getting tired of forza... too much stuff to do, none oof which is ultra fun to just sit at a nd do. Anyway, if you're intrested, send me a message and a friend request.

I'd love to join, to cruise and learn to drift... i'm still working on that... during the summer at least, i'll be available basically every week day (i'm a student with a job that doesn't really count), until say 5:00, and some days later, until 'bout 10:00. (these times are in EST, GMT+4, so for lotsa ppl, subtract 3 hrs.)
