    WTF?

Except all hardcore mode manages to do is make every car understeer ridiculously... I'm sure most 600 HP cars in real life with traction & stability control off, would be much harder to control, with less understeer and more chassis movement.
  6. I'm not really planning to mod my case much, and I was looking toward the CM 832 because of the extra space in which things fit. Apparently it will be a bit of a squeeze for my 8800GTS in the nine hundred.
  7. At the start of last year I was in desperate need of a case and psu combo as my computer was running hot, and crashing (drawing too much power for the PSU to handle). A year on, and seeing as I bought a cheap and not-so-good combo (iCute anyone?), it is dieing and therefore I have decided to upgrade them. PSU's: Help me choose: Zalman ZM600-HP Corsair Hx620 Corsair Tx750 I am leaning to the more expensive Tx750 as I think that the extra power will be needed in the future. Cases: Antec Nine Hundred Antec P180b Coolermaster Stacker 832 Please don't hesitate to give me your honest opinion, or a suggestion of something that you think may meet my needs.
  8. I also have a G25 and no problems at all, its great. Put simply: yes.
  9. I don't think that it has anything to do with the tuning of the car, but rather the "catch up" like I am sure many of you have experienced in the past in most NFS games.
  10. not to be picky, but could you put in the thread title as to some Idea what we might be looking at, before opening the post.
  11. +1 on both accounts Dual channel runs much faster (2x1GB), so in reality it will be like having 4GB of ram instead of a single channel 2 GB.
  12. hey man, welcome to the forums. Have you got Xfire? Click the XFIRE-Club and apply to join the xfire part, and we will go from there to organise everything. Also hit us up at our Forums to ask any questions.
  13. the AA is whatever you want it to be set at, but running at a higher setting will cause a lot of fps drop. Personally, I would go the 8800GT over the 7950, simply because you will be semi-future proofing, and the 8800 is good value for money. (7950 is like 2 years old now isn't it?)
  14. well, I actually took the photo before you joined, but yeah it was today :)
  15. I think that would be because the textures are designed for a higher resolution, so lose some of their quality.
  16. I know this is old, but I just noticed this: The GTO was actually a Holden Monaro, and remained that throughout the entire production of the vehicle. The Coupe GTO/GTS was actually in NFS:HP2, and there are a few noticeable differences. Just thought I'd fill you in on the works :) Oh and those 800x600 pics look nice :)
  17. Yeah, designed to "stand out" :) hmm, I wish I had a RUF, then that would make for a good drift pic. Edit: oh and Speed, you should clarify that it is a MAXIMUM size of 800x600, as some people can't do that size with the resolution that they play on.
  18. The lambo's seem popular. Mine is hot pink for no particular reason
  19. WAKING THE DEAD thread Crazy Indians... Oh and Pherelas, those websites in your video are actually real... check for yourself, www.godhatessweden.com* :) *not endorsed by me
  20. nah man, on the PS3 the controls are heaps different. It is really hard to get the cars around the corner, in both drift and grip. Also I think, it's the controllers of the PS3 which makes it hard to warm up the tyres.
  21. lol, should be some improved titles then, and some real competition for EA
  22. hmm, I played ProStreet on my cousin's PS3 and I have to say the controls were terrible... it was near impossible to get the cars around the corner, and in the drags, its very difficult to get your tyres up to temperature properly.
  23. All in hardcore Aston Martin DB4-GT Zagato Volkswagen W12 Coupe Jaguar XKR Lamborghini Murcielago Dodge Viper SRT-10
