Especially with all the DLC that gets bundled in with the "Game of the Year Edition" now, I can understand why someone might wait, I guess I'm just too impatient to be honest.

I only bought them with tokens because a friend and I decided if we each bought 2 of the top 5, we could trade with each other, both get the Exclusive Taste achievement and both save a bit of cash. Once we had bought them though, we tried to swap and the game wouldn't let us, so I ended up just buying the 2 I needed with tokens too :rolleyes:

Plus add in all the leaderboard style challenges games come out with now. If you've played last years NFS Hot Pursuit, you'll have seen Autolog, a feature which compares your race times with that of your friends and encourages you to try to become the fastest therefore adding replay value to the game. Then you've got rivals mode in Forza 4, which is all about competition amongst friends. It all comes down to how much you enjoy online I guess, the week Forza 4 was released ~15 of my friends on XBL were playing it, whereas if I were to go on now, I would struggle to find 3 or 4. 6 months on, will there be anyone playing?

As many of you will know, when you preorder a game, sometimes it will arrive early. The question I was wondering was, do you play it straight away? I'm aware that certain big games, MW3 is immediately apparent, have strict rules applied to those who play early, but do all games? I know there's probably an official source on this, but I was more looking for some actual gamers' opinions, so post away :)

Well this thread quickly turned in to an argument, why post if not too help? You may think I'm doing the same, but no... I own all the Ferraris, and have the achievement so :p I'm willing to loan out a couple at a time for people if they want the achievement, just make sure you only need a few cars, I'm not going to gift you all 14, but 2 or 3 is fine. Also, I can't gift the 250TR or the 250GTO because I bought those with tokens so the game wont let me. And finally, to those wondering how I afforded all this, I just played the game. There's an achievement for getting a manufacturer to affinity level 50, so why not choose Ferrari? I realised this early on and since you're buying them all you get plenty of variety for season mode. Simple. :)

Both Sauber's have been disqualified by the stewards, disappointed as I was impressed with Perez' one stop strategy :( They're appealing though...

I picked the Camaro solely based on it being the cheapest, and did fine with it. I don't really think it matters what you choose for the cups, as they're not too difficult, but once you start playing online it is so much easier having the best car, stage 4 tuned, to win. So yes, I agree that the DB9 is the best as I use that online, but we're all going to buy them all in the long run anyway :) I agree with you on bookmarks though, why can't we at least name them?

I used the Camaro 2SS simply because AFAIK it was the cheapest. Had no problems with the A4 high, so must be a decent car. A4 is still the only grade where I only have 1 car and that's the Camaro 2SS :)

Yeah, I had to block off the Veyron too, bit of a handful but it's doable :)

I'd avoid the Atom if I were you, yes it's cheaper but when a Veyron overtakes you on a straight there's nothing you can do about it. If you're looking to save a bit of money I'd recommend something like the Mclaren MP4 12C, only 196,000 and has a decent top speed :)
