  1. Its winter now so i'm not fit at all, plus the company a worked for closed last year so I only get a few weeks of freelance guiding now... although I get to ride for myself more which is way more fun
  2. I'm a mechanic in a bike shop now, but also a bit of guiding in the Alps during the summer... got another bike coming in Jan (unless it gets delayed again) thats a bit better though. This one is just a free bike for the year, so I'll trash it during the winter and save the other one for sunny riding.
  3. Just got my new staff bike from work yesterday Looking forward to getting it out on the trails
  4. Webber would be amazing, but part of me just can't see it happening... Hope I'm wrong though
  5. Can't believe Mika Salo has received death threats since last weekend.... Some people are just pointless
  6. I have already said the penalty was just! But as ever you choose not to read and completely ignore what is said purely so you can throw another churlish insult. My whole point which I can't be much clearer on is that it was entirely inconsistent with what was allowed during the rest of the race and qualifying.
  7. Ha, what! You jumped on me because I quipped about the FIA and now you're saying the same about Mercedes. Thats priceless. At least backup your option with some independent/unbiased sources of Bottas avoiding a penalty this year.
  8. So then explain why no one else was penalised when all 4 wheels went of track... I've already given Bottas as an example and there are plenty more. Actually don't bother because you can't. At least try to add to the discussion, rather than droning on with the same tired statements because someone express a view different to yours. Raikkonen had "no idea" why Verstappen was penalised Verstappen penalty call "the worst I've ever seen" - Lauda Why F1's treatment of Verstappen was a joke - F1 - Autosport Plus BBC Radio 5 live - Chequered Flag Formula 1, American Grand Prix review
  9. When did anyone blame Vettel or Raikonnen here? When did anyone express hatred towards Ferrari? or even mention Hamilton? Rassva it had zero to do with so its ridiculous to use that as a basis for your opinion. Really, come up with a decent counter point guys... maybe go have a look at all of the post race reports in the F1 media so you can form one that isn't just a knee-jerk. Whether you agree with the ruling or not (we know its not going to change), it was a super quick decision without investigation or talking with the drivers involved. And it was inconsistent with other un-investigated breaches of the same rule during the race (and qualifying). Regardless of who was involved or not. Hassan whenever you disagree with someone you always start with a petty insult (not just in this thread) so have a look at your own actions before you try to point the finger at others... this isn't primary school anymore boy.
  10. Wow @hassan1995, you really need to learn discuss like an adult... its pathetic that you always feel it necessary to insult because you don't agree with someone. @Diablo normally the track limits are pretty consistent, but in Austin there were several areas were EVERY driver was outside track limits during the race and it was allowed. So the enforcement of the rules in this case was just, it was inconsistent. Bottas did a few times defending his positions Coulthard, Webber and Eddie Jordan (and Horner - though he's biased) all said pretty much the came after the race. Webber's analysis of it highlighted some very interesting points too. All this decision does is jeopardise the credibility of F1 and further goes to decrease the excitement that should surround the racing.
  11. Ferreri International Assistance struck again... Such a shame for Verstappen, it was a great move and if it had been on another team the penalty would not have been given. Was a properly exciting race though. I nearly speed in my mouth during the pre event show. I really hope thats not the direction LM are going to take F1... what an embarrassment. The Channel 4 team were blatantly unimpressed with it
  12. I haven't played it and I know I won't enjoy it... The 3 year gap of not owning a console changed my gaming habits quite a lot and I'm just not into that repetitive style of gaming anymore. Plus I've grown massively sour towards any game that charges for extras (unless its a proper mission pack, not just some cars/skins/guns etc.). I just like playing games and I wish more would do it like GTA5 with constant new content for free (well free if you're patient and can tolerate a grind) That said, I really do miss the old days of just cruising in TDU and chatting lalalala while watching TopGear in PiP... Its a proper shame that we all grow up and move on
  13. Hahaha. I remember the golden days when the glitches of TDU were treasured, enjoyed and exploited for fun. Not one person criticised them, we just looked forward to hanging out and laughing about them... I have some great memories hanging out with some of us old timers here in our F1 GTR's dangling off the edge of Maui. Driving around underneath the water. And I'll never forget the good old flying glitch Look what you've become since playing "modern" racing games. You all expect perfection and relish in picking up on minor flaws. For shame. Still not getting Forza 7, not because of its flaws but simply because it looks too boring.
  14. Its all becoming very COD and thats put me off massively. That and I played the demo and got so bored that I didn't even finish the first race. It just felt exactly the same with just a tiny bit more razzle dazzle.
  15. I've not tried it yet. had the demo downloaded but just not made time for it yet Wasn't impressed with the FM6 demo and have barely played 5. Absolutely loved 4 but i just don't enjoy the current generation of racers. In fact all the current games just seem to be a bit tired with fancy features that i rarely use. They are beautiful though.
  16. Can't believe no one has mentioned Malaysia. Most eventful race of the year for me. Verstappen smoked it. Hamilton did enough with a sub optimal car. Vettel had an amazing race from the back and if the race had been longer could've been even more of a threat, but then was part of the silliest/weirdest crash of the past few years. Sucked to be Raikonnen
  17. I thought he already turned it down Here's another interesting article: Former F1 owners in mass share sell off - Pitpass.com
  18. Guy Martin's F1 special was good... Just watched it last night. Its really good to see that liberty media are pushing more things like that rather than keeping it all behind closed doors like Bernie used to do
  19. Vettel really is hurting the Ferrari brand right now... I'm definitely not going to buy one now
  20. Only about $2 million. I just grind the CEO missions and it doesn't take too long to get good payouts. Too much more to buy though
  21. There are some really nice new cars in GTA Online
  22. Reading Ferrari's twitter is hilarious at the moment. Whether you're a fanboy or not victory was handed to Hamilton and sadly the fans got robbed of what should have been a completely different race. Even sadder is that Verstappen lost out too... Every decent F1 driver knows how tight the start is and there was some desperate manoeuvres off the line. Such a shame for Alonso agin I think the BBC writeup is pretty fair summary: Singapore Grand Prix: Has Sebastian Vettel's aggression just cost him the title? - BBC Sport
