Please can you give me tips on how to give my xbox the 3 red lights please. Last night I tried rapping it up in several towels, for over an hour I did this whilst playing games so that would make it hotter. It just kept giving me 2 red lights which i know is overheating, I turned it of and it started up again, worked fine, a little slower than usual but it still worked. I did this for about an hour and it would still work. Anymore tips on how to get the three red lights so i can get a new one?

yeah i made my decision last night, the 1GB card could decrease the performance on some games as it needs to fill up the whole gig and it uses the old g80 core, it also has slower shader, core and RAM speeds. the GTS is also better for overclocking which is what I'll be doing.

Not seen that before, but i think it has kinda happened because the game didnt load the cars and i didnt think of pressing Y so yes it is strange.

Well I was going to get the 64bit OS anyway because i know the 32bit only supports 3GB of RAM and i've kinda run out of money, so getting anything better at the moment is a no unless i van borrow some money of my mum(highly unlikely) and i've had bad experiences with ATI so i'll stick with nvidia.

This happens with a few cars and its amongst all the other glitches.

well I have got a HDTV and im getting 4GB DDR2 RAM, athlon 64 x2 4800+ or 5000+, nvidia 8600GT 1GB so yes it will have HD output and is DX10 compatible and will eventually be SLI'd I'm not an idiot when it comes to computers, I just wanted to know which would suite me best.

I dont want it to "keep upto date". I want the one that is best for gaming.

Well im spendin about £600 on my own pc, mainly for gaming and i dont need a decent monitor as i will mainly use my HDTV and yes i do want to be able to play games in DX10, so would it be easier if I go for vista?

Is Microsoft media center OS any good, or should I get XP again? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help but i dont want a decent monitor, i want a cheap one as i will be using my HDTV for gaming. I just want the monitor so i can set it up and read text on the internet as the text blurs on HDTV's.
