iirc they have already mentioned something about weather in the future. -
I had the same problem. My speakers were on full volume and it didn't half make me jump because i didn't know they made a noise.

the crew The Crew: Car List - [UP29: Mar 1st 2016]
Camel replied to CarMadMike's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Updated the list to show all car available for purchase in game and what specs they are available in. There are 40 cars(Viper is only available with 100 uPlay points) that you can buy in game plus the 2 hidden wrecks. The Mini Cooper is only available to those who pre-ordered from certain retailers unlike the BMW Z4 which is available to everyone. So not entirely sure why that was a pre-order car. -
Does anyone have this on PS4 that I can add? :toetap:

I don't think that is exactly the case. When I bought a few cars, I also got them all the basic level 40 tuning packs and did nothing else to them. And the stats vary greatly on the cars with the difference being over 1000 for speed, acceleration, handling or braking in some cases. They might well be similar but I think they are actually all different.

You just have to grind the game full stop. These are the ways I know how to make money: The story missions pay between 1000 and 2800(last few missions & includes 10% bonus from perks). Landmarks pay 2000 each but there are only ~242 of them and once you have them all, that's it, no more easy money. Skills are plentiful but you only get about 250 for getting platinum after you've finished the story, even less for gold if you haven't unlocked platinum yet. The factions missions pay out more. Which is fine if you like doing police chases or spending 2.5 hours driving around the map in 1 go(unless the game disconnects then you have to start again) for 80,000. But that's only if you win and with the AI catch-up, it's likely that they will overtake you near the end and you'll not get the full payout. Stunts such as drifting, jumps, overtakes and oncoming give you money but this seems to be hit and miss as to whether or not you get the money from it. In the lower classes you're lucky to get over 100 from stunts. But later on it's possible to get between 1000 and 2000 if you're sliding on mountain roads. But as I said, you don't always get paid and when you do, it's usually delayed by about 30 seconds. Grinding platinum upgrades from skills can net you a small fortune. You get between 200 and 300 for each duplicate part you earn. When you get platinum on a skill(do jumps in the midwest and north east, they're quick and easy) you get a platinum part which can be a random(ahaha, yea right) level between 40 and 50. But I just get between 40 and 42 most of the time with a rare high level part above 45. And other than PvP which I haven't bothered with yet I don't know of any other ways to make money. Overall I've earned about 1.2mil with almost 500k of that coming from landmarks and a further 200k coming from grinding level 50 platinum parks. Tl:dr this game needs a a lot of grinding. I suggest getting one of these.

I've not been able to upgrade the looks of any of my circuit or raid cars. Nor have I been able to upgrade fenders on any cars apart from the street and maybe dirt hotrod.

Just wait till you get to one of the final(I think) missions. It involves: That mission was a joy to do! Only took me 4 attempts due to pure luck on my last go at it.

There are 5 car dealers, 1 in Detroit, New York, Miami, Las Vegas and LA. They all show on the map from the start of the game so you can drive/fly to them pretty early on. No chance that you can afford many of them until you've played for a while though.

Just spent all of my money on a few cars(Alfa 8C, BMW M5, Dodge Ram and Skyline) and all of their different specs. They all have their own unique feel to them. You can really feel the weight and centre of gravity of the car being thrown around. If you're unsure when you first start playing the game. Stick at it because it does get better, much better. And does anyone else have frozen AI traffic cars? They're all there and I can crash into them but none of then are actually driving anywhere. They're just all parked in the middle of the roads

Mine said 87% mobile although I'm sure it should be higher as I rarely listen to it on my laptop. Unless he means another music app.

And we're online again! Mike may be getting involved today too.

I got a Z4 with Amazon but it's not in my car collection :hmmm: I think(I know, I really shouldn't) that you can turn the phone calls off in the options menu. I remember doing it in the beta.

the crew The Crew: Car List - [UP29: Mar 1st 2016]

If you haven't seen the cars or Ubi/IT haven't said that they will be in the game then they haven't really falsely advertised it. As they never advertised the game with those cars. -
I'll mess with my settings some more when I go back on it later and post them up. Overall the handling seems much improved using a controller. You can drift your cars and when you do get it to drift it isn't too bad. But remember, this is an arcade game so don't expect handling akin to the Forza or GT series or any of the more serious sim racers. My only real gripe with the handling now is the countersteer assistance which can't be turned off. It makes not crashing after you've just swerved to miss something quite difficult and frustrating. Yes! I missed a head on crash with that bus... but I hit the building in a different state because of the countersteer rubbish. IMO all assists should be off in Hardcore mode or give us an option so we can pick and choose exactly what we want help with. As for the graphics, I don't see a problem with it. The game looks good, nothing like FH2(I see it gets compared to this a lot) but you have to remember TC is on 4 platforms compared to FH which is on 2 and TC is many times bigger than FH2. Difficulty wise I've not really had the issues that someone above posted about. It can be difficult to get gold in skills(level your car up more and try again) but the missions haven't been a problem apart from the police chases, they are crazed and relentless. I'd say it is worth the money. I've found it quite fun so far and the handling does improve the more you level your car up which is something that I didn't really notice in the betas.

Or maybe there were in talks with those manufacturers but they didn't sign them so they won't actually be in the game. Like the Mazda references in TDU.
