  4. Happy pancake day!
  5. Mineh! E: I've just noticed that this picture shows how bad the tracking is out.

I will be paining the alloys white, just need to wait for better weather and I want a centre exit exhaust but need to check the boot area to make sure the exhaust gasses won't get inside the car. Exhaust gas already is I think so I need to sort that first.

Haha, one of them was mine. First one I'd had and it made me hyper. I know what to drink before uni now though. And sort of, they're meant to be gold but they're knackered. I'll be sanding all the rust stuff down and smoothing them off then priming and painting them white. I just need a sunny day where it's above 0degrees. E: The exhaust, if it faces down then it catches on speed bumps. I'll be getting a new downpipe, silencer and tip sometime in the near future I hope. I think it just looks daft as it's just a tip that's bolted onto the standard exhaust pipe.

And have a bonus image! It runs really well now. Managed 50 miles of country driving and didn't overheat, not anywhere near overheating! Also managed 38MPG and that included over an hour of idling at 1500rpm whilst I cleaned the cooling system. Not bad me thinks.
  10. I used to think there was a pipe for food and one for drink. Never quite understood how the food knew to go down the food pipe and the drink down the drink pipe. Ahh the invention of the stomach.
  11. Look very TDU2-esque. But why would they need various watering cans?
  12. Snow day! Oh, wait, they're just annoying now. :(
  13. This is an engine! What a beast.

:hmmm: It's painful, I have chunks of skin missing from my hands and fingers. Big hands are no good working on a mini engine. :( Noticing that my screwdriver thingy had a hole through the top of it that I could put another screwdriver through was annoying. Don't know why I didn't notice it sooner. Although I did sheer a bolt on a hose clip.

I managed to free the seized bolt myself. Eventually. I used somebodies hair dryer on it *cough cough*, let it cool down a bit and then used my screw driver with the right socket on the end, stuck another screw driver through he end of mine so it was sticking out sideways then slowly wiggled it and it eventually came free. Managed to get the radiator out and flushed the entire cooling system. Was shocked at how much crap actually came out of it. Got the radiator back in but it was too dark to tighten up the bottom hose properly. Hopefully going to get it finished off today so no more overheating! *crosses fingers* Also learnt not to try and flush the engine block when the thermostat is in, the water won't get past it as it's closed and it'll just squirt back out the hose and cover me. :fp:
  16. Because pushing a car is more lazy than turning it on to drive 20 or so metres? :p It also had nothing to do with the fact that the radiator took a pee all over the road so didn't have enough coolant left...
  17. I know what it's like. Just earlier I pushed my car because I couldn't be bothered turning it on. lol
  18. At least now you know what it feels like to be a bike.
  19. Couldn't you just do a wheelie all the way home?
  20. :hmmm: 2189?
  21. 2062!
