  1. I won't even be able to install it for another 1.5 months but whatever I guess
  2. 4790K is Haswell. After that, sort of, was Broadwell and then 7-8 months ago came Skylake.
  3. Oops. For £200 though it was a deal I couldn't pass up.
  4. "Stop buying nice but expensive stuff" I tell Hassan and the day after I can't stop myself from buying a Core i7-4790K. >.< :hd: It was an incredible offer but still. Pictures of a box coming when I get it.
  5. I don't get it. :hmmm: Link doesn't work anymore.
  6. Stop buying nice but expensive stuff :cheeky:
  7. I was too busy trying to understand the text so I didn't even notice it was automotive themed. :fp:
  8. Hardly, if at all. No matter the generation it's still just integrated graphics and they are simply not made for anything more difficult than office work and movie watching.
  9. If people on PC wanted to try it? Not everyone, don't take things for granted and you make it sound as if PC gamers who don't have wheels don't deserve to try the game or something?
  10. There are probably plenty of people who don't own wheels who would like to try the game on PC.
  11. I'm starting to see a pattern here. :hmmm: "Soundwave chooses a banner for the week"? :cheeky: Damn, Daniel. :p
  12. Well the last one didn't cover SLI did it? :toetap: Feel free to tell me why I'm wrong this time. :p
  13. With 850W you can go two way or even three way SLI with some cards. :cheeky:
  14. Sometimes the only remaining explanation to be honest.
  15. 99% sure that would give you "no operating system found". Even if the whole hard drive was dead and effectively missing I think you'd get "no boot device found" so for it to cause a boot loop it must have been really bad. Or maybe I'm wrong and Mells can tell you all about it.
  16. It must have absolutely chewed through your hard drive and spat out the scrap metal remains on to the motherboard for it to cause a boot loop, otherwise I'm pretty sure you'd get at least some kind of error message. :hmmm:
  17. So it worked when you put in another hard drive? That's :oook: but when it comes to tech so many things can be... Boot loops can be caused by a number of things but it seemed like you had ruled everything else out. Jayztwocents recently uploaded a video of troubleshooting a boot looping PC and its issue turned out to be a corrupt BIOS.
  18. Looks a lot like the old one methinks. :hmmm: As long as it's still as good to drive I don't really care. :nods:
  19. If you still have warranty on it I think it's generally a bad idea not to use it unless you feel really confident at what you are doing. :hmmm: Also depends on the noise which is impossible to tell for us, it could be obvious or really hard to diagnose.
  20. Either report the point saying the links are fixed or PM a member of staff. I'm not sure but you may even be able to fix it yourself by going in to the advanced editor.
