  1. You can't create shops, you can only replace standard cars that came with TDU1 or the Megapack (if you legally own it). At best you can only create one or two car slots from memory. Make sure you backup your original files before replacing them with mods. There are tutorials stickied in the forums on how to do this.
  2. Don't worry Clarence. Whatever you have to do is more important than a video game. Hope you sort it out.
  3. I think that second last pic is what they're aiming for with their dynamic weather system, so maybe still reserve some money to join the project, the sooner the better.
  4. Welcome crazyfrog. Fortunately I can't think of any CF songs to get stuck in my head :p
  5. Just as Richard Hammond is secretly American, Milli is secretly Japanese :nods:
  6. Looks great, thanks for sharing. But seriously, you don't have a digital camera? A decent phone camera?
  7. We all know you meant to say "Due to Ryzza never showing up..."
  8. Well they still have a year to go before their initial launch and they confirm that things like Rally will be DLC. It seems like there will be two version of the game, a free "base" version with not much content (buy DLC/microtransactions), and the proper title with a certain set of content, and you can expand from there. Consider the free version as a demo of sorts I guess. The vibe on the forums is very good, and they already have a fair amount to offer as far as playtesting goes. They've also shown how quickly they can work and make progress, so I'm quite optimistic about this title. There's also the chance that this game will also be quite mod-able, like GTR2 was.
  9. What, so taking off then getting the computer to do it all is more fun than the missions where I have some more input? :p I don't know which places are the best looking to fly, and Australia looks awful in the game (plus it's too big) ;) Feel free to PM me with some specific mods and settings and maybe I'll install it again and we can fly online. Last 3 are photoshopped :p
  10. lol, I'll see you next week then  Go to Google and search for 'most livable city' ;)
  11. Where?!
  12. Jazzi's looks better :nnnn:
  13. Roaming around the docklands at lunch. Quickly taken on my Samsung Galaxy S2 - Google compresses them when I upload to Picasa.
  14. This'll do:
  15. The theme is Autumn (and sky), but it's Spring here :fp:
  16. Don't worry about the guys in the southern hemisphere :fp: :p
  17. Awesome!
  18. I like it except for the following: * Takes a while to install * Takes a while to configure controls to liking * Can never get good graphics AND good FPS despite having a good PC (if anyone has recommended settings or a mod please do share) :) * Can't figure out where the game saves what missions you've completed.
  19. Some more posts I've come across today: Atm there's a big discussion regarding whether or not pCARS (Project CARS) should include some sort of Track Editor (ala Trackmania/ModNations) or Generator (ala Gran Turismo 5). Some only want official tracks for hardcore sim racing and less disbursement between online players regarding track options), whereas others want the community to be able to create and share tracks to increase the game's replay value, and to create awesome twisty P2P or rally tracks. I'm in the latter camp, but am trying to provide ideas that give players incentives to race official tracks often and use the editor for a break, while at the same time trying to make an editor sound feasible.
  20. Now this is what you might call exciting: RBR of course is Richard Burns Rally, very old but undisputedly the best rally sim available.
  21. Tried the PSX version today and had a go on two tracks. Driving is not stupidly arcade, not proper sim, but not too bad. Let's just say you probably won't win your first race, esp if you pick one of the harder tracks :) The crash sound effects when I under-steered, hit the barrier and rolled over were pretty cool. If you try and use the handbrake in bumper cam, the camera pulls back to 3rd person (or vehicle) view. Drifting (if successful) will slow you down though, but the brakes seem very slow to work (or they don't work when you're trying to steer). If you can get ePSXe (Ehanced PSX Emulator) and the CD it'll probably be easier to get working compared to the PC version for this particular title. My first attempt at the first track in a Supra.
  22. I saw that too, but I never go for the Zinger versions - too hot'n'spicy :panic: Can you make this = :idunno:
  23. Well there were two reasons for my first guess: 1) It looks like a tower burger, and 2) it "returned" in 2010 for a limited time. So he had been....... away? MIA?
