  1. If we preferred that we'd all be a lot more active on the TDU2 forums...
  2. I don't hate 'em, ;) I'm actually impressed with their skills, as I'd have probably crashed once or twice even if that was a game scenario. But yeah, putting such a great risk on the innocent isn't nice.
  3. Too late. Set up the redirection check - you know we all want you to. ;)
  4. Just ask Diablo to set up a redirection check. That way, anyone who arrives here from tdu2.com will end up on that Date a Goat site
  5. They're not hoons, they're a death wish. Driving 100kph+ over the speed limit is plain stupid
  6. I was thinking 3 days ago, not now :cheeky:
  7. ...and here's Part C https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyQ1votVqIQ I saw those videos on the news last year - I believe it was in Japan. If anyone drove past me on the freeway doing those speeds I wouldn't hesitate to call the police.
  8. I'm sure you made his day by doing that ;)
  9. How the heck does he see in the tunnel (or is that just a rubbish 80's camera)? :p F1 would be just as fun if they did it (on PC rigs), and a heck of a lot cheaper ;)
  10. Oh, I forgot you hadn't got the DLC yet (taking a while) :susp:
  11. Well, on that DLC mission with the 2CV in Tantalus, I just about spent more time on 2 wheels than all 4 - was nice to see the devs showing a sense of humor there. :)
  12. First one is cool - why don't Porsche make rally versions of the 911? ;)
  13. Near the top/middle of Ibiza, just north of a tunnel and to the left. There's also a tiny road near the salt lakes that has a windmill near the end.
  14. I thought it was more a case of flipping on your roof, than just 'losing control' in that car ;)
  15. Well it's better than some hackers changing your password on their PS3, is it not? :)
  16. You can only change the password on the console that you created your account on. Otherwise you have to go to the Sony/PS website and request the change, in which case they'll send you a verification email.
  17. They're not allowed to turn it back on in Japan yet until they show the government that they've implemented certain things to make sure personal information can't be stolen again (read it at Engadget)
  18. At least it's quicker than TDU1's (PC) patch cycle :)
  19. You'd think they'd make their mind up before making files, or at least they'd make the files in a separate test project which would result in no reference to Dubai in the proper builds. I guess we could wait and see if the names disappear in the next build.
  20. 1. Add PC hotkeys to quickly toggle options. i.e. Turning bits of the HUD on/off (similar to GTR/Race 07), GPS on/off, player names on/off, music/speech on/off, etc, etc. Assign them to F1, f2, F3, etc but allow us to choose our own if desired. 2. Setup a nice gaming rig in your office and play some TDU1 on Hardcore mode (no aids or Hypersport). I did that last night after not touching it since January, and the difference between TDU1 and 2 with the handling (and especially force feedback on the G25) is night and day. Spend an hour or so on that, then play TDU2 on the same rig, and see how disappointed you feel. (You guys enjoy driving, right?) ;) After doing that, fix TDU2. :)
  21. Oh, I was thinking of Pyrre when I said one person winning all the time. And Tim, not cool man - she should've got her prize ages ago ;)

    Help!

Ok then: 1. Download/save the .zip file somewhere 2. Open the folder in Windows where you saved the .zip file 3. Right-click 142_datsun.zip and choose the option that says 'Extract here' 4. A new folder called 'datsun' is created, double-click on it 5. Go into the 'CAR' folder 6. Open a 2nd window, and navigate to where TDU is installed (i.e. C:\Program Files\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Vehicules) 7. Locate the files that will be replaced (GTO_Cpe.bnk) and rename them or copy them elsewhere as a backup, in case you want to remove the mod later on. 8. Now copy the two .bnk files in the CAR folder into the Vehicules folder. 9. From the CAR folder, go up one level, and go into the RIM folder. 10. From the Vehicules folder, scroll up to the top and go into the Rim folder 11. Backup/rename the GTO_Cpe_F_01.bnk file in the Rim folder 12. Copy the file from the downloaded RIM folder into the game's Rim folder 13. Launch TDU1, and go find the car that you replaced (Pontiac GTO). It should now look like a Datsun.

    Help!

I'm honestly not sure if you should be trying to mod your game if you need to ask questions like this, but I'll try to help anyway... How about you tell us exactly which mod (link) you are trying to install and we'll go through it step-by-step.
  24. Decided to re-live the glory days by taking a 2wd Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni out for a spin with a few friends. It was so refreshingly challenging and a wonderful feeling when you got the cornering perfect (although we al crashed a lot since none of us had played TDU1 in months):
