  1. Well I was going to ask you what century you lived in when you said not all motherboards have Ethernet ports, but you seem to have already answered my question :cheeky:
  2. They come on the motherboard, along with all the other standard ports.
  3. Destra said it was ready, just waiting for Microsoft now. Sony.... who knows how long that'll take. Who knows, you may end up snapping your disc anyway if you get banned for altering your save-game:
  4. So do we have to download the new "incomplete" dealerships, and then download them again when the cars are made available? Seems like a waste of dev time and Internet downloads for a small and temporary change in scenery. Nice but a bit pointless :p
  5. Yeah, I wish I could sign into my online profile while offline (PC version). When are they going to fix that?
  6. Once upon a time I could've answered that question for you. Just goes to show how often you use advanced maths once you leave college. :p
  7. The girl or the car? I'm guessing the girl since you failed to notice the image is over 350kb ;)
  8. I tend to call it 'plastic cheese' (due to the wrapper). It's alright for some things (cheese and mayo sandwhich), but proper cheese is better for other things (like on those Ritz crackers). But I'll answer yes. We should have more random debates like this :p [+] Poll added
  9. What - no-one ever told me I could redo the last cup to win money. I doubt i'll get enough time to do it again before the patch is released now :( Good to see some progress is being made, albeit slowly.
  10. As far as GT5 goes, the amount of premium cars is higher than what most car games have anyway. If you asked me wether I'd prefer having the extra 800 standard cars, or not have them at all, I'd have said yes, gimme gimme gimme, which is what they did, so I'm more than happy with that. For the record I didn't own any of the other GT games besides the original, so I didn't have most of those cars before anyway. The updates have been massive and free, online is very good, handling is very good, why I haven't played it in a while is probably more laziness than anything else.
  11. Which sand-pit has your head been buried in? :es:
  12. Some of those sections looked really narrow (might've been the camera FOV) - how he didn't get taken out by that dog was quite amazing too. I know I would've taken a lot longer and crashed a few times. :p
  13. See now that would've been a good car-list for this game. I can just imagine what the guy was thinking while smiling and nodding: "Hehehehehe sucker!" :nods:
  14. So chances are still pretty good then
  15. You could always use a PS3 controllers to pilot a quadrocopter during the outage ;)
  16. He has no obligation to answer *every* question, especially since these aren't the official forums. Last time I checked there were thousands of "clients" as you call them, and only one Destra :) For the type of support you're thinking of, clients pay a heck of a lot more money as well ;)
  17. Fool me 5 times.... uhh I don't remember that one  I guess it's a bit better than the announcements for TDU1 on PC - hear absolutely nothing about DLCs for 2 years, and then a few people find clues about the megapack, which is pretty much denied by them until a few days prior to it's release. It's great they tell us what's going on, they just need to get their schedules/ETAs fixed.
  18. Those designers have certainly been busy :cheeky: Althought the front bonnet looks freakishly low (I know it's rear-engined).
  19. As long as the physics and graphics aren't as woeful as NFS Undercover then I don't really care about the rest of it now that we have Shift 2 :) Some more DLC (incl PC) around it's release would be a nice distraction. :p
  20. I thought they all sounded the same AFTER you tuned them with the same titanium racing exhaust or whatever it is - didn't think it was too bad when they were stock (although it's been some time since I played it).
  21. That's a lot of sheep there. If you messed it up as much as I think you've messed it up, you're probably better off re-installing the game. Plus, we don't allow sharing original game files here.
  22. The physics were borrowed from the ashphalt parts of DiRT 1, and the cars were mostly too grippy and sometimes felt on rails. Once you get used to it and make some major changes to the Logitech profiler it's liveable, but for use with a steering wheel not a whole lot of fun. Nothing agaist Grid, but TDU1 was better in the physics dep't (maybe besides moon gravity and whatnot) :) - so that made it seem like TDU2 would be going in the wrong direction /ot Yeah, gotta love Atari. Shame Eden is stuck with them :)
  23. Yeah I agree with your first sentiments there (I exchanged the word that got filtered). I remember when Lee Kirton said the game's handling was similar to (or inspired from, something like that) Race Driver GRID, we all had a heart attack. :p
