  1. :dontcare: Just kidding - very nice
  2. I must have TDUCk's Australian Cousin  Nice hat there
  3. I know - I bought one yesterday (seeing that I had spent more money on a sofa) and also since I own one in real life and it was great - you just have to treat it a bit differently - but a great hoonmobile :D
  4. try using my settings:
  5. My answer then is good enough for now. If you want traction control then use Driving Aids mode. If you can't control a cars traction by yourself without electronic help then I feel sorry for you as you're missing out on a lot of fun and not having good car control could be dangerous on the roads in real life. :) TDU2's physics are unique, but good drivers can adapt to that.
  6. I've found the GTR is a great car for doing most of the missions.
  7. My cars weren't there today either - they come and go however:
  8. I was buying some foam from a pool shop (Clark Rubber) and needed to reach the $10 minimum EFTPOS limit - and look what I found for a convenient price: The only problem I have now is trying to explain to others why I have a duck toy that lights up in my bedroom  Yeah don't worry - I haven't purchased the forums from Diablo
  9. Cars with lots of power generally do that in real life unless you've got traction control on.
  10. The content is already on your disc. It's associated with your Atari account, so when you sign into TDU2 with that account name, you'll find those cars in the 'Used Car Dealership' (where you buy your first car). They only show up when the relevant servers are online though, so don't panic if you don't see them.
  11. I'm sure the devs will patch it once they've fixed the critical server stuff, as this has been requested a lot.
  12. I use a G25, and it's good enough for me to have been playing non-sto psince I got it. Not perfect, but most cars handle predictably now (besides the R8) but the wheel doesn't have force feedback.
  13. Sorry, but Diablo mentioned that he won't be allowing TDU2 cars to be released as TDU1 mods here (assuming that's where you got the Veyron from)
  14. Well, they are the top 16, the cream of the crop - all the average ones would be long gone.
  15. On other forums with one picture thread for all - you just end up with a few pictures followed by loads of comments, so it takes just as many clicks to see the same volume of photos. That may or may not turn out to be the case here.
  16. Having to speed drive at 88mph to time travel was destined to cause a massive accident sooner or later I don't have FB. Why complain Leadfoot? - we should be experts at the caption game by now :p
  17. We have a chatbox http://forum.tdu-central.com/misc.php?do=cchatbox
  18. Don't worry - a noob in a noob car will always be beaten by someone who knows how to drive a noob car. I enjoyed driving the Saleen S7 a fair bit in Hardcore mode with no aids - the challenge is good, and the reward is even better. I won a few diner challenges and online races in TDU1 where other picked *easier* supercars, even on twisty roads.
  19. I think the WRX is a bit of a noob car. After driving it for a bit, I went back into one of my other cars and had to re-learn how to drive it again, due to the scoobie's excessive grip and chuckability. It's handy for doing the 'road discovery'. Also, if you go to Progress and Objectives, and set "Ibiza Area x Road completion 100%" as your objective - it'll show you your current percentage everytime you warp to a new road which is handy (I only thought to do it when I was at 99% though) :)
  20. Looks (and sounds) good, but I don't like the word 'exclusive' :p
  21. Ouch. That said I'm surprised one of the things that went through your head was "I better post this in that TDUCk thread". Hope it's all good soon.
  22. :fp: They don't give PC DLC because of piracy, yet DLC is one of the best ways to restrict piracy - something TDU1 did rather well. Once the game was patched no-one could play online if they hadn't bought the game. These game modes focus on new online challenges, so if PC players really wanted to try it, they'd have to own the game legitimately. I honestly hate EA for not treating the platforms relatively equally. It's not like they can't afford to absorb the extra costs associated with PC. They could at least have a decency to say before launch that most DLCs will be not be available on PC, instead of the 'maybe we will, maybe we won't' approach. :( But what do I care - NFS Shift 2 will be out soon, and surely that will feature DLCs for the PC version since it's more like a sim :p
  23. woah - pogo - good to have you back :) I guess you aren't coming to my cruise this Saturday then (no-one seems to be yet) :) I installed the patch and played last night - no issues to mention.
