    Fair enough. I've sometimes found that VSYNC turns off by itself, and that produces a few tears in the cutscenes mostly.

    Well I timed my A4 challenge brilliantly, since it was also raining at the time. I had to retry one of the races about 6 times since I kept losing it on one corner in particular. The A4 has a few speed challenges where the DB9 was good though. I often found that in the speed trap events they'd take a stupid route compared to mine, so once I finished I quickly turned around and crashed into the others to make sure they didn't get a good speed on the last trap.

    I made one for the GT5 section AND stickied it but it never received much attention. I guess people here just like having their own thread.

    I might wait a day or two to make sure the patch doesn't cause too many issues before playing - which is probably a good thing since I've not done any of the other things on my to-do list since I got TDU2 :)

    360 or PC? Surely you knew there was a risk of corruption and backed up (not that we can be of much help now).

    I used a DB9 - had the highest top speed but it likes to spin out so be careful through the corners.

    Try going into the video options of the game and turning on VSYNC.

    If the graphics card isn't working as hard, then your graphics quality obviously isn't going to be as nice. Did you recently install Windows Update (sometimes includes graphics driver updates if you tick everything without checking). If you save everything you download, you could uninstall the graphics drivers, reboot, then install them again and reboot.

    When you said 7.5, are you sure you weren't just rounding 7.46 up to 7.5, in which case you should actually be rounding 7.46 down to 7? :lol:

    As it turns out Google fans are generally more creative and skilled than us TDU2 fans probably are.     It just means you have to play longer and be part of the community longer - which in their view is a good thing. They've already made concessions after the strong feedback received. If you don't like it, don't play it, and don't post here - we won't mind :)

    I was watching Clarkson "Unleashed on Cars" (1996) and was thinking they should do a piece where they compare the cars they own now to the ones they owned 15 years ago. Back then JC talked about how the Ferrari 355 was the best car in the world, etc. Compare that to what he has now (the Lambo Spyder or CLK Black (I can't remember/keep up). The series has been good so far.

    Mine's still fine at level 20, except for when I'm recording in FRAPS and in a city. Is it still laggy when you turn off 'online interactions' - TDU1 would sometimes manifest game lag when the problem was really internet lag (possibly on someone else's end). Problems can also be caused by new programs, antivirus, updates, drivers, etc. It at least gives you a few things to check anyway.

    Cool (although I've just been using Windows backup to do it for me) If you back up regularly it shouldn't be out of sync with the server too much and should be ok. It's like playing the game offline for a bit I guess (when the servers are full/down)

    Yeah - the only problem with BP is that people are *supposed* to try and crash you out (takedowns) so I didn't play that one online too much. I did like the MP challenges you could do together though. They would be a good addition to TDU2. (I suggested that a few times on the old forums, where the devs got quite a few of their ideas for TDU2, so obviously they weren't interested in it).

    The thing that gets me is sure it's all arcady and too grippy (too much downforce), but then I get to a jump and its almost hardcore mode again. You know the classic jumps followed by corners where everyone goes flying off and crashes, it still happens even when I'm in a super heavy Audi Q7. :lol:
