    Get an vNidia 460 or higher if you can afford it. Why buy a 3 year old card (or whatever they are now) if you don't have to? My brother got himself a 460 and it runs everything he's played so far fine. I have the 480 which obviously is great as well.

    Cool thanks Diablo & everyone. Not sure why they used our real names instead of Gamer IDs (mine is "TDU2 SUPERFAN TRAILER" by Ryan Richter). Looks like a lot of video entries didn't make it in due to copyright issues (if you search YouTube you'll find more than the two available to vote for).

    Nope. This VW event is focused on the more modern watercooled cars whereas the other one had loads of old air cooled cars as well. Probably a similar crowd there I guess.

    I'm hearing about cyclone Bianca and Anthony but I haven't seen any massive clouds around Western Australia :hmmm: This La Nina is really being a bit of a pain, eh? :)

    And here's the reason why we've been flooded: The tail of the cyclone system (not actually a cyclone anymore) moved south to Melbourne and hit us last night - with lots of thunder, lightning, and solid consistent rain.

    We had quite a storm last night and here's the result about 5-10km's from my house (which is on a hill so all good). I rode down on a friends bike with him to help out his friends in there.     They started TDU2 from scratch, so they haven't "removed" anything (technically). I'm sure they borrowed some resources from the TDU1 development. I agree with the driving aspect receiving first priority, but I don't think everyone on the team were responsible for everything. (i.e. you'd have one group doing the car stuff, another group doing the house/avatar/customising stuff), so by the end of it all you'd have a certain amount of both. Having too many people work on one thing can be detremental sometimes.

    Yeah - I used to have a 9800 GX2 and a 1440x900 res monitor which worked fine (full details in most games). When I started recording the latest title I got lag, and I also wanted to increase my res with a new 1080p monitor - plus the GX2 was very hot and died a few weeks before the 480 was released.

    What's a GTX480 then? I use FRAPS a lot and force higher quality so I make use of the 'overkill'.
