  1. All I'll say is read the System Requirements thread again. 14GB of HDD space and the recommended graphics card tell me the graphics are going to be good :)
  2. The megapack activates itself over the Internet when you launch the game. It then ties the megapack serial to the game serial under your account. Since you are using your account with someone else's game serial - it refuses to work for you.
  3. From what I can see, you haven't legally purchased TDU, so we can't be of any help to you on these forums.
  4. Ok - a couple of questions, don't take any offense at this, I'm just trying to help you get this fixed sooner instead of wasting both our time :D 1 - Where is TDU installed? 2 - Where is the patch downloaded? 3 - Was the patch inside a .zip or .rar file when you downloaded it? 4 - Are you familiar with how .zip files work? 5 - What extraction software do you have installed to handle .zip/rar files? 6 - Can you upload screenshots of what's confusing you?
  5. Use this program to verify that the registry setting that tells the patch where TDU is installed is correct.
  6. Don't try to extract the .exe file - just run it
  7. Yes - the executable file needs to be extracted. It will then appear either in the same fodler as the zip file, or a new folder with the same name will be created and the file is within that.
  8. Hi Daniel Download the patch from here. Once saved to your PC, extract it and run the file. Once you've finished, run the game. It should say version 1.66a down the bottom of the main menu screen.
  9. Nice job, but the interior doesn't look dark enough. I often see that grey colour when I'm expecting darker colours - is that a limitation of TDU1 modding? http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_DEP49tusZwg/S9NlY7z6ILI/AAAAAAAABMk/UbD_FbLgKMQ/s1600/Lamborghini_Murcielago_LP670-4_SV_China_Edition_3.jpg Thanks again
  10. @Spazz One trick is to hide the official icons and replace them with shortcuts to the same location, as you can easily change icons for shortcuts. If you wish, there are tweaks out there to get rid of the overlaid arrow on the icon that tells you it's a shortcut. wincustomize.com might have more info for you as well
  11. If it's cheap on Ebay I'll grab a copy, but I'm not a F1 fan either
  12. You'd think after playing car games for 10+ years we'd get the hang of it by now and could handle more realistic physics :cheeky: (not everyone has, I know).
  13. Better start clicking more of those ads
  14. Only on September 19 (International talk-like-a-pirate day)
  15. I bought REX 2.0 last Friday, and had to leave my laptop at work over the w/e so it could finish d/l'ing :( Will check it out next week.
  16. NFS2 had 'Simulation mode', and NFS Porsche was sim-ish
  17. Some new shots from today: Everyone knows that supercars are the quickest way to the cemetary =)
  18. Well considering their first announcement of the games launch was for Q3 2010, which turned out to be Fall 2010, which then became Sep 2010, it's pretty obvious that Q1 2011 refers to Jan - March. Fiscal calendars only tend to be used when discussing fiscal subjects.
  19. I've always got too many things open to ever see my desktop anyway
  20. I'm happy too - I can get all the other car games out of my system first, rather than be indecisive and not play any of them, and then when I reach 50% in GT5 and have had enough, TDU2 will be out and it'll be even better.
  21. Nice - I like the Porsche and SV-overlooking-the-pool-with-mountains-in-the-background pics
  22. 'Tis a shame Good news though - I get the golf this Friday
  23. So, did you guys like the new screenshot?
