  1. Nice concept - looks a bit like a cross between a Porsche Carrera GT and a Ferrari
  2. They said they were fixing server issues. Judging by the TDU1 complaints, they definately need to fix it before releasing TDU2 :)
  3. Wait, kalniel knew about TDU2 in May 2008 and didn't tell any of us? :(
  4. Great shots again. Where's my billion? :)
  5. Nice shots guys Quick rF question - do you only need to buy the game, and then waste hours downloading all the free addons - or is there also DLC that you pretty much have to purchase as well? I tried the demo once and wasn't overly excited by it, but it does seem to be pretty versatile.
  6. An image consisting of 137 pixels? That's not quite 12x12 pixels. That's not even the icon for TDU2, since most program icons are 32x32 pixels. /James May moment
  7. Have a close look towards the right side and you can see the race track on Ibiza:
  8. Hehe, I've bought some absolute rubbish car games for $10 because the graphics on the boxart looked decent. I now read the System Requirements on the box for the opposite reason now - if the specs are too low then I won't get it ;)
  9. If you're bored Carda, perhaps you might like to have a go at some Australian ones - similar to the above except the colour scheme is a bit different http://www.brisbanedrivingschool.com.au/road_rules/part_23_traffic_signs.pdf
  10. Nice pics. If they're from the PC game, then we need to cruise together one day.
  11. You can grab a copy of Burn-In Test and run that for a few houts. There's little doubt you have a hardware issue, it could be either the video card, RAM, or maybe even the motherboard. If you have another capable video lying around (or perhaps you can 'borrow' one from another PC), use that to play TDU (actively, not just parked somewhere) and see how long it lasts for. If you have mutliple modules of RAM installed, remove all but one and see how you go. If it crashes, swap the RAM module with the one you just removed, to see if one of the modues is faulty.
  12. You're not going to get it to work without buying it - TDU has exceptionally good antipiracy code built in.
  13. All I'll say is read the System Requirements thread again. 14GB of HDD space and the recommended graphics card tell me the graphics are going to be good :)
  14. The megapack activates itself over the Internet when you launch the game. It then ties the megapack serial to the game serial under your account. Since you are using your account with someone else's game serial - it refuses to work for you.
  15. From what I can see, you haven't legally purchased TDU, so we can't be of any help to you on these forums.
  16. Ok - a couple of questions, don't take any offense at this, I'm just trying to help you get this fixed sooner instead of wasting both our time :D 1 - Where is TDU installed? 2 - Where is the patch downloaded? 3 - Was the patch inside a .zip or .rar file when you downloaded it? 4 - Are you familiar with how .zip files work? 5 - What extraction software do you have installed to handle .zip/rar files? 6 - Can you upload screenshots of what's confusing you?
  17. Use this program to verify that the registry setting that tells the patch where TDU is installed is correct.
  18. Don't try to extract the .exe file - just run it
  19. Yes - the executable file needs to be extracted. It will then appear either in the same fodler as the zip file, or a new folder with the same name will be created and the file is within that.
  20. Hi Daniel Download the patch from here. Once saved to your PC, extract it and run the file. Once you've finished, run the game. It should say version 1.66a down the bottom of the main menu screen.
  21. For now:
  22. Nice job, but the interior doesn't look dark enough. I often see that grey colour when I'm expecting darker colours - is that a limitation of TDU1 modding? http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_DEP49tusZwg/S9NlY7z6ILI/AAAAAAAABMk/UbD_FbLgKMQ/s1600/Lamborghini_Murcielago_LP670-4_SV_China_Edition_3.jpg Thanks again
  23. @Spazz One trick is to hide the official icons and replace them with shortcuts to the same location, as you can easily change icons for shortcuts. If you wish, there are tweaks out there to get rid of the overlaid arrow on the icon that tells you it's a shortcut. wincustomize.com might have more info for you as well
  24. If it's cheap on Ebay I'll grab a copy, but I'm not a F1 fan either
  25. You'd think after playing car games for 10+ years we'd get the hang of it by now and could handle more realistic physics :cheeky: (not everyone has, I know).
