    2 possibilities 1: The game will randomly use the unidentified car name since police IRL won't always be able to tell what car you're in, esp if they're far away. It's just any old sedan to them. 2: They never recorded the audio file for Lexus when the game was first made. The megapack only added cars and opened up new shops, they didn't add audio files for the police chases (unless they were already there from the beginning).

    lol, hasn't he always been a twat since the mid-80's :) My sister once got charged $30 to fix an iPod touch that wouldn't turn on (under warranty), and the service staff said that the problem was the Windows PC that she connected it to. Riigghhtt.

    SimRacingTonight (or whatever they're called these days) said they'd have a video interview with TDU2 coming soon (this week I imagine). I'm not expecting anything new, though. At least their perspective as sim racers will be different, so who knows what we'll learn. Their reports on F1 2010 and GT5 have been good so far. http://www.youtube.com/user/simracingtonight

    I didn't like it at first, but once I got a G25 I forced myself to at least learn it properly and now I prefer it. Most drivers who use a steering wheel and play a lot of non-arcade driving games will prefer H mode, however all will agree that it is not perfect since all it is effectively doing is making your car lighter to give you less grip. If you have a good FFB wheel, pick the right car, and take the time to learn H mode, it can be a rewarding experience. The worst thing about it is that you can't use it on SP challenges, and there is no separation on the leaderboards or diner challenges.

    That's the standard error for when the servers see something that's not right with your game. i.e. if you crash in such a way that your car flies around all over the place very quickly (due to a glitch) you'll get that error. It's basically TDU's limited cheat protection. Here's an example:

    Some superimposed shots work better than others for me. It's a great concept, but it might turn out better when TDU2 comes out with its better graphics and higher quality car models.

    I don't mind them going back down the hill a little bit from when they were epic a few years ago. As long as they don't go all the way down the hill (i.e. stay on par as to where they were around Season 7) then I'm happy to keep watching. Of course, the end is defiantly in sight, but we at least have until their contracts expire in 2 years, which is another 3-5 seasons worth, which is about 32 episodes I guess).

    Anyone who has studied accounting will be familiar with the term 'loss-leaders'. Advertise cheap milk on special to your mum, and she'll go to that particular supermarket and buy other stuff while she's there. Sell cheap games on Steam, and they increase their userbase & potential sales for when the new games come out later this year (they're only really selling a license rather than a printed DVD and case + user guide, etc). A lot of those games probably sell for about $10 at the local post office, of which the developers probably only see a similar small amount of money returned to them :)

    Guys, despite the fact that TopGear is the most illegally downloaded show in the world, we can't tell others [how] to do this, just like how we wouldn't support those who don't buy TDU. Thanks :) I on the other hand couldn't stop laughing at the Robin film. I don't think the Kia Cee'd is reasonably priced at all. I could get a new mid-range Mitsubish Lancer, Subaru Impreza, or Ford Focus for that money.

    Well, both GM Rally and Flat Out were predictably rubbish. Whoever said GMR had bad physics was wrong; it has no physics. FlatOut2 was ok, but only because it was 95% exactly the same as FlatOut Ultimate Carnage, same cars, tracks, tournaments, AI names, the lot. Only the graphics weren't as HDR'ish as in the 3rd game. Don't buy anything made by '1C Company' - I've got a few of their titles and the only way you could describe them positively is if they were released in 1993... which they weren't. ;)

    Hehe - the Reliant Robin bit was very funny... predictable all the way, but still funny. WU is one of the only things Windows 7 does worse, as far as automatic restarting goes (I did some tests the other day with an open an unsaved Word document. It rebooted without prompt or warning, however when it restarted it automatically opened Word and the autosaved/autorecover document. That doesn't work with uTorrent though) :) Anyway, change your settings so that it asks you before downloading updates. ;)
