  1. TDU doesn't officialy support laptop versions of graphics cards (they're not the same), so we can only be of limited help. Your game key is printed on one of the first pages of the users manual. The separate key for the magapack DLC (if you get it) is emailed to you after you buy it. If you have not purchased TDU legally, we can be of no help to you at all.
  2. Are you in front or behind the camera? :cheeky: What's the event?
  3. Thanks 150 high quality pics would take ages to load and would waste a lot of bandwidth, which is why I've been using Google Picasa at 800x600.
  4. Does your laptop meet the specs required for the game? What graphics chip does it have?
  5. Just don't click it while lots of us are active here - we'll all be fighting over who does it  j/k
  6. If anyone wants to provide me with an assortment of trailer shots, I'm happy to post some of them on the TDU2 Pictures thread. I'll host them on my own account, so a zip file is fine.
  7. If you can afford a G25, it's awesome - simple as that. Ignoring all my driving games on PC, I've used the G25 (shifter and all) on the following PS3 titles successfully: Ferrari Challenge Supercar Challenge Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Midnight Club Los Angeles
  8. They did say that the buildings in TDU2 are the least acurate (i.e. 40%) compared to the accuracy of roads and other things.
  9. I was guessing that it was not on PC due to the NFS-World game. But seriously, why would I buy it on PC anyway? Both Burnout Paradise and NFS Shift treated PC users as second-class, so I will probably buy the game on the 360 and I'll wait and see what the PC version is like. The only reason to get the PC version would be if friends chose that platform (I'm guessing most will). Still, at least I'd have another game to play with Diablo and the gang. :)
  10. Just before the police car scene, when inside the Gumpert - I heard a mobile phone ringing as well.
  11. I hope TDU2 has a similar offering with its secret police modes, since TDU2 will support a Logitech G25. Did anyone think that track in the trailer looked similar to the Redwood forest from NFS HP2? Here's the YouTube version:
  12. Welcome to the (insert one of many weird names for us) At least I'm not the probie anymore :) If you have any questions, feel free to ask me, then I will ask Mellors, and I'll let you know what he said.
  13. Did you read the post directly above yours?
  14. I think it's because two people won last round, which means they each get their picture in the banner for one week. Good thing it wasn't a 5-way tie ;)
  15. I thought the whole airport thing was a cutscene in that trailer. Hopefully I'm wrong. It's not that big a deal though, how much control do you need to go from one country to the other?
  16. I might use some of those textures, but not the cobblestone ones, doesn't really suit the road.
  17. Awesome trailer. 10/10 I spotted the south-east lighthouse from O'ahu (I've been filming there recently), as well as the roundabout at Mokapu Peninsula, also Diamond Crater in a few scenes, and once shot that looked similar to Eden Island (via Teleport in the first game). I also saw a new Car Wash building. Looks like the car dealers will be availble during night-time in game (I guess I'd work late if I had an appointment to sell a car worth 6 figures) :) The police car livery looks unfinished, and they appeared to be chasing just the one car (didn't see other racers there), but at least we saw them. House customization looks simple but good. The car engines sounded very nice. I also heard some proper brake squeaking noises there instead of tyre-skid noises. Edited the first post with the new info, thanks Cuban.
  18. afaik it's just the same file placed in multiple parts of the map. Another file would contain the other data (location, orientation, etc, etc). Change one part, you'll change every instance of it. The furniture inside houses are probably buried in a BNK file somewhere.
  19. There's a patched file that removes the DiRT2 watermark from Replay mode if you want to look for it. Nice shots.
  20. The G27 doesn't support force feedback in TDU1
  21. If you have money, then you want a Logitech G25
  22. Winning a knockout or tournament in NFS2 in Simulation mode is still a challenge today, so there is a little weight to those words. Not exactle iRacing level, but still admirable. I've not played NFS1 in years, though. I still have NFS2SE installed on my laptop.
