  1. Just wondering... What's the main difference between this thread and the Photoshop Tuning of the Week thread???
  2. Well I'd rather the TDU2 trailers and other info to come out "very, very soon" rather than have to wait til E3 to see them, so it's not such a bad thing.
  3. You could always replace that lost immersion with ButtKicker or TrackIR  (if you can afford it of course). Both products are definitely worth the outlay though.
  4. Rename all the files so that they are shorter: i.e. TDUWinter.zip, TDUWinter.z01, TDUWinter.z02 ~ and so on Right click the .zip file and extract. If you can't try Googling for 7-zip Backup you're original TDU folder Drag the contents of the Winter mod over into the installation directory and select yes to overwrite.
  5. The trailers for the original game were pretty cool - I don't think we'll be disappointed with the new ones.
  6. You haven't even seen it yet... I don't want to be standing anywhere near you when you do
  7. Uhh, I have a mountain bike. I haven't ridden it in... umm.. maybe 5 years or more. That's what happens when you get a car, I guess ;) This probably sounds terrible, but I was kinda hoping for a stack :D (Funniest Home Videos style) Nice video anyhow
  8. 4WD's could always buy and carry fuel canisters like in MOTORM4X Offroad Extreme. If you run out of FUEL in that game, a quick prompt comes up and you pay a small penalty for running out. As long as there are 10-20 filliing stations evenly-ish spaced, half of them very close to the main roads, I think it'll be fine. By the time you end up becoming a multi millionaire, you won't care if you fill up or not because the penalty (i.e. $300) would be spare change.
  9. Well, you could mimic the way MCLA deals with NOS levels and damage. When you start an event, you are prompted if you want to repair and fill up. (That way, you should never run out of fuel in a race, maybe except for the Millionaire's challenge - but that would be more fun if you had to strategise between picking a fast car and one that doesn't gulp down its fuel) When you finish the event, your car and fuel level remain the way they were at the end of the race.
  10. I would say have Fuel enabled by default, but be able to disable it only in the following circumstances: > Cruising offline > The person who creates an private online session can choose the settings - everyone who joins that session will have have the same settings.
  11. You need to post x amount of times to gain access to the Requests section from memory. Click the FAQ button at the top. I'll see if I can find out the specifics.
  12. Air Conditioner - Hummmmmmmmmmm
  13. Nice job And great driving pyrre & bimmer & pogo. I mustn't have the patch to get those trees in my copy of the winter mod
  14. Uh, I had Wednesday off and I was bored. That was pretty much it ;)
  15. I'll keep an eye out for it. The living room is getting carpeted *s00n* which is why the HDTV is unavailable atm. For now I've just done a race in FM3 and PGR4 and so far, so good. Does anyone know what the Display Reference Level is in the system Settings menu?
  16. You could always create another one at a more convenient time. :) Maybe have one every 8 hours.
  17. PAL settings is not an option for me. The Audio carries with the normal HDMI lead, but I don't have any video at this stage. I switched to a HDMI to DVI lead (the cable doesn't carry audio) in order to get video.
  18. Not that I'm aware of. The monitor is a BenQ E2420HD. My 42" LG HDTV is 50Hz, so I'll be good once I have it setup there, but I would like to be able to use it in my room in the interim.
  19. Hi guys I finally took the plunge and got myself an XBOX 360 Elite Bundle. I was hoping to play Forza 3 today, but I haven't got any audio cable options. I connected the 360 to my 24" LCD monitor via HDMI (which has speakers and pass-thru), but I just get an Out of Range error. The console is outputting at 1080p but at 50Hz, whereas my screen requires 60Hz for this HDMI. My PS3 worked fine using the same monitor and cable. I grabbed a HDMI to DVI cable and can now see the display. But I can't send audio via DVI so I have no sound. The only other cable I have is component, which I don't use on any of my AV systems. I don't have any adapters for that either. A few Google search results claim that you can change to 60Hz, but they refer to the old blade interface. I've had a look in system settings and didn't see anything. I would've expected the 360 (at least the Elite version) to have an Optical out connection straight from the motherboard like the PS3 does. I did a quick Ebay search and bought the Audio adapter that has the Red/White RCA and optical out plugs, but now I'm reading that the only way to use that in conjunction with HDMI is to crack open the plastic housing on the audio adapter. I knew the 360 was bad hardware-wise, but seriously? The ETA for the adapter is 7-14 days. Is there any way for me to get audio before then?
  20. Does now :) Might as well have a go. You never know, maybe no-one else will enter  Started off well in Paint Shop Pro 7, then after an hour I got bored and rushed the rest of it. Yes, I'm a complete novice at this, I know.
  21. erm, I just came here via New Posts. All the titles look the same. I didn't think something was right either.
  22. Uhh, this is the greenest car I have for now:
