    Yeah I getcha, TDU had good car progress (and options for cruising). The Crew seems to have a lot more rubbish cars, tuned rubbish cars, and then a jump to your Alfa's and so on, then supercars. The problem with a lack of choice is that you'll end up with everyone on the best car, perhaps tuning may offset that, but requires a leap of faith when you test drive some of them stock. I'm tempted to blow some cash on the M3 to try that out, but I'm saving money for purchases necessary for story progression.

    I disagree. Ridge Racer/recent NFS games for example. "Tap brake to drift" is what NFS Most Wanted 2012 suggested. TDU2 also bears no resemblance to reality.

    Have enjoyed listening to a few of the retro cover versions of songs done by Postmodern Jukebox these last few months. Been listening to a bit of Ellie Goulding, Ladyhawke, Lana Del Rey, Alcazar, Jamiroquai, and the Horizon Pulse soundtrack this year.

    I'm curious to try something like a full stock or hardly-tuned BMW M3 - sure a Mustang might be rubbish when stock but will the ultimate driving machine also require loads of tuning to be decent in this game The stock Gallardo was pretty nice though - I assume you've seen my test drive video that i made for you :toetap: Ozz you want to tune the suspension otherwise you'll spin out all the time without having control over the slide. The accelerator pedal is nowhere near sensitive enough to drift like in TDU1 HC or say Project CARS/ Assetto Corsa (only talking pedal sensitivity here). Not sure if I can tweak a better feeling but I would expect they've given us the best settings by default.

    No I mentioned the Street Edition X4 and Mini were gifted (either Limited Edition or Season Pass) as separate vehicles where they are only available as that spec. I'd have to repurchase the normal Mini in game if I wanted it tuned for Dirt spec, for example. But yes I am seeing quite a few missing spec options as well. By the time I complete story mode I'll probably still be using two same cars I have currently just because there are hardly any viable options to choose from, and they are all so expensive. I will probably use remaining Perk points on making winning easier, and when they are exhausted, I spend the $20,000 CC necessary to get 10 extra perk points for maximum new car discounts - rather than actually spending the 20k on a new car.

    I'm sure you know you can turn subtitles off, I suspect you find it easier to read English than listen to it. I had no issues with PvP races, but do understand that there was no filter to car level. Fortunately the host had turned off collisions, and none of them knew how to corner (or brake) properly Set a good evasion time in this Chicago faction mission

    Saw someone use this to describe the handling of The Crew :lol: From about car level 300+ I'm finding the handling better, so it's a lot closer to likable now.

    It's nice having an entire subforum to myself :lol: Some rough cuts of police chases during my cruise with :gdance:, who kinda forgot about the 'help the cops' arrangement from the PC Beta, which led to the creation of 'Rules of Engagement' If you've watched the where I try to visit Mexico you should get this reference ^Watch full screen to read text chat Not wanting to do Performance Spec missions with my gifted MP4-12C or Italia I decide to see if I'm any good up against other random players in a PvP lobby. Note that they don't have to use the wheel and none of them are in Hardcore mode, and most of them have higher car levels.
