  1. Instead of bumping a two month-old topic, you can tell him you like it in his mod factory/thing thread here: http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=14768 :) Um... First, you are not allowed to request in a modder's topic. That's what the request section is for. Both of you are allowed in the request section (it's a ten post limit), and copying someone else's request exactly is just plain ridiculous anyway. -Leadfoot
  2. Good luck with this. This is using the model posted in the requests section, right? -Leadfoot
  3. Bah, for me it won't change! I can tell its there by looking through the ToD in photo mode, but it won't change. :( -Leadfoot
  4. Yeah - the falling objects (trash, newspapers, etc.) is now "snow." There's not much of it, but its there. At least, that's what it looked like in the video. -Leadfoot
  5. Wow! :) It looks great so far! -Leadfoot
  6. Exiges always looked awesome in white. The Elise is like that too, except in yellow... Dunno why, some colors just sort of work really well with certain cars. Nice pic! :) -Leadfoot
  7. When you're kicked from the server, it will say "You have been disconnected due to an incoherence in the game data." However, I'm not sure what happens after multiple incidents! Also, for those seeking realism - increasing the weight helps solve the TDU why-is-my-car-seem-so-easy-to-move-around problem. I'm sure not many of you noticed, but when you nail the throttle, the engine doesn't really strain to reach 150 miles an hour - even in an Audi. It will get you kicked off the server online, though... -Leadfoot
  8. Yeah, I'm going to get a copy of TDU for my dad's PC. :) That way friends can finally play head-to-head TDU; especially since TDU ate up two runs worth of codes on one PC. -Leadfoot
  9. LOL. Reminds me of that other topic, where we decided - what was it? Oh yeah - that asking people to release their mods early to specific people was a bad idea for two pages of reasons. :cheeky: Plus, in my opinion, I wouldn't trust a lot of people to write anything, let alone a kind-yet-critical review of a mod; so the idea of "reviews" would be rather pointless. -Leadfoot
  10. I was too lazy to look up what version was in Shift. :cheeky: There's four in real life, not including limited or racing editions. Thanks for this! :) The TDU Elise and Exige seemed... Almost there. They were good, but... out of proportion somehow. -Leadfoot
  11. Lotus Exige. -Leadfoot
  12. Are you using Djey's Patch 1.67d? It enables almost all traffic vehicles without swapping anything, so you may have accidentally "deleted" it without realizing it was already there. -Leadfoot
  13. Dunno why, I still consider HP2 to be one of the great NFS games. It was the probably the second-best of the "original" NFS games (second to Porsche Unleashed). :) I'll find a Lambo shot eventually... I think I'll make a Crysis map for it. :) -Leadfoot
  14. I had this problem. The problem was in the chair, not the program. :cheeky: j/k After you hit "Save Car" you have to press "File > Save Data". :) You will get a message that says "Data Saved". Press OK and then enjoy your overpowered Alfa. :) -Leadfoot
  15. :) -A happy Leadfoot
  16. Um... That's the point of the mod. :oook: -Leadfoot
  17. Might work, but remember to set a different button than "enter" to accept. Personally, I use "shift," so my warning flash key is different. Recently, I figured out I could use the throttle on my joystick as lights - that way, they're always on. Of course, they don't actually illuminate anything, but its cool anyway. :) -Leadfoot
  18. So you're finishing up little details during this week? Just trying to clarify... -Leadfoot
  19. Nice ZR1 shots. Try the Weissman wheels. I found they match pretty well. :) Dunno about thread title. :( -Leadfoot
  20. Thanks so much! (740 + 560 MB sounds good. :) ) I (and others) appreciate this huge project. And it was a snow day today, so I really appreciate it. :) -Leadfoot
  21. Agreed. :) And mk2design, considering the car itself in real life has only been revealed for about a month, great work on the model. :) -Leadfoot
  22. Because it appears as "Not Yet Released" on Steam (it was released twelve hours ago :headbang2: ), I have plenty of time to think about it. So, I have a few questions. In the demo, I couldn't get the clutch to work - there was no binding for it. Is it enabled in the full game? Also, I have a DX10 GeForce 260GTX, will I be able to use DX11? Or do I have to have an official DX11 card (which I don't want to buy, by the way ;) :cheeky:)? Oh, and for realistic G25 users, 900-degree rotation, linearity set at 2, deadzones set to 0 for all, H-gate. :) -Leadfoot
  23. http://oahucars-unlimited.com/crbst_24.html Nice work! :) -Leadfoot
  24. Actually, that might be possible. The tread would be difficult, but perhaps it could be done... :) -Leadfoot
  25. They're still doing a good job, no need to give up. ;) I suspect it'll be great when it comes out. :) -Leadfoot
