  1. That's true, but it's easy for you 360 players to forget that a major platform (myself and the rest of the PC crowd) still had to wait seven months for a relatively run-of-the-mill port, and I for one have doubts that Atari is competent enough this time around to get the release within a month of the original date. I'm sorry, but I'm still angry over waiting (and reading about every single challenge in my dog-eared 360-spec handbook!) an extra SEVEN (maybe I should say that again, louder) months. -Leadfoot
  2. But where are our free stickers? :cheeky: Like the Gallardo house pic. :) -Leadfoot
  3. You want to really mess with your mind? Play the game itself. Every third song is "Paradise City." It's okay in the beginning, but after a while you have to mute it. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  4. Cool, so TDU2 will be released sometime in March, just like TDU1 (which was delayed from September to October, then to January, then March). Moving on... -Leadfoot
  5. Ugh. Let's play, "Who wants to stop in .25 seconds?" Or the G25's owners' favorite, "Let's play with linearity!" DiRT2 had slightly better physics, though; let's hope they keep improving. Oh, and CM, just a tip: If you're going have an H-Shifter, have a clutch. Otherwise, it's just moronic. I'll probably get it when it goes on sale in Steam. CM games always go down to $10.00 within the first two months... *sigh* -Leadfoot
  6. I think you're one of the leading contributors to making TDU an entirely different game. :) Keep up the good work! -Leadfoot
  7. I am totally downloading 3DS Max! This is all very interesting and wonderful! Now, we should probably get on topic... :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  8. That's correct, but as an aside, have any of you taken a look at his other videos? He's really talented with 3DS Max! Tons of cool stuff on his channel (not TDU2 related, in case you thought this was a hint or something :cheeky:). -Leadfoot
  9. Oh, damn! I'm used to the dates being in the US format and got confused. :( Moderators: Are you able to open this again and have it close on August 9, 2010? Thank you! -Leadfoot
  10. Oh, cool! Have fun! :) Oh, cool! ( Again! :cheeky: ) Those are nice, but I never see them. :( -Leadfoot
  11. Nice job, Ryzza and Des! :D To honor you, I will try hard to speed and not hit trees! :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  12. Hmm... Maybe I should vote for this as the COTM: Renaissance Vote. :) Nice pics! -Leadfoot
  13. Wonderful! Those are ALL absolutely amazing! :) Favorite is the rain/British sports cars pic. -Leadfoot
  14. People lying? On the internet? Realistically, though, they probably got the codes - just not the game file. :) -Leadfoot
  15. Vedy nice! :cheeky: Like the M3 one. :) And the Camaro, of course, but who doesn't like the Camaro? :D -Leadfoot
  16. Well, we're back! This "Car of the 'Month'" actually covers May, June, and July. I will be choosing the TOP THREE CARS from this poll and, including the April winner (Terzer's 458), make a video with four cars. Complicated as it sounds, it'll be clear eventually. :) In a similar vein... this is a multi-choice poll. Anyway, here we go! ___________________________________ gksdlqq: Hyundai Genesis Coupe - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20367 gksdlqq: Audi TT-RS - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20359 gksdlqq: Mercedes Benz SLK (2010) - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20357 gksdlqq: Mercedes Benz CL65 AMG - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20352 gksdlqq: Mercedes Benz E63 AMG (Sedan, 2010) - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20362 gksdlqq: Kia Forte KOUP - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20360 gksdlqq: Peugeot RCZ – http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20415 gksdlqq: Saleen S5S Raptor – http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20395 TDUZoqqer: Audi R8 4.2 Quattro - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20247 StarGT: Ford Mustang Cobra II - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20329 StarGT: Chevrolet Chevelle SS (with rusty version) - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20329 StarGT: Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (drag racing version) - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20099 StarGT: AMC Javelin 2010 Concept - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=19648 StarGT: BMW 735 IL (E32) - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20093 Minime891: Mercedes C63 AMG - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20332 Minime891: Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20577 Minime891: Lamborghini Murcielago - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20344 Racer-STI: Subaru Impreza WRX STI (2008) - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20223 dmn: BMW M5 E60 - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=19408 Grin116: BMW M3 E30 – http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20150 Grin116: Volvo S60R – http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20428 Grin116: Honda Civic Si (Tuned, 2010) - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=19993 Grin116: VW Golf (Mk. 2) – http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20465 Grin116: Porsche 944 Turbo - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20599 assassin996: Audi RS6 - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20053 assassin996: Porsche Cayenne Turbo S - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=19460 assassin996: Jaguar XFR - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=19997 asssasin996: Mazda3 MPS - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=19931 assassin996: Audi Q7 V12 TDI - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=19623 assassin996: Acura TSX - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=20599 Oldi: Porsche 911 Sport Classic (2010) - http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=19960 _______________________ -Leadfoot
  17. Been to "the big city" (pop. 40,000!) today, and saw: -Lamborghini Gallardo (so happy, recognized the sound :cheeky: ). I waited a while for this one, and stood by the road forever after it went by. It passed by a total of three times, but I didn't have my camera on me. Naturally, once I had gotten it, I stood by the road with the camera for about twenty minutes. But, as you can probably guess... -Bentley Continental GT (might've been a Speed, but I just saw it in a blur, so couldn't check the front, wheels, or back, just saw the general silhuette :( ) -Several Pontiac Trans Ams -Several new Camaros ___ Pretty interesting. :) -Leadfoot
  18. You're welcome - glad to have been able to help explain. :) -Leadfoot
  19. Atari/Eden don't know (for the most part) the beta participants. Therefore, they don't know who can be a reliable, honest participant and what clowns do you said in the spoiler. :( Personally, I don't trust those things anyway. From what I've heard, they're more trouble than they're worth, no matter what's up for download. Plus, if Atari doesn't want us playing it, they don't want us playing it for a reason. Whatever anyone's feelings are about that/those reasons, it's still a fact. -Leadfoot
  20. I have done something like that once - but in my defense, friend of my parents was planning on getting a BMW Z4 or a Bullit Mustang, and I was only trying to get him to consider Porsche. :cheeky: Oh, and none of that trackday nonsense. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  21. Yup. Anyone remember how, if you (as in, this guy) buy a Ferrari FXX (or 599XX), you don't get to keep it? Well, this is how they get away with stealing your (his) money. You pay for the privilege of driving some Ferrari's around famous tracks. When they say you can. :cheeky: Jalopnik has some more info here. :) -Leadfoot
  22. Agreed. I just downloaded that dock thing for my laptop, but I'm not quite sure how to work it. Looks great on your PC, though! :) -Leadfoot
  23. A little while I went to a family reuinion (actually, it was a funeral for my great-grandmother, but she lived to be 100.5, so it wasn't exactly sudden), and guess what? I have a long lost uncle that races Mercedes-Benz's! Who knew? :D He was bored during the post-funeral "very long talk/service" thing (don't know what it's called), so we snuck out and he gave me a ride in the SLK350 he had with him. It was in Long Island NY, and they have these highway on-ramp traffic lights that go red if you can't go, and green if it's clear - those were great fun! :D He takes that particular car to a bunch of autocross events, but he also owns two classic Mercs (one a racer, one street, but I didn't hear what they were) and an old MG. Was a lot of fun. I know it's small peanuts for all of you with your "oh, yeah, got a ride in a SuperFerrariLamboKoenigseggAstonDBSCCXR599Scuderia the other day," but in traffic on a quick ride with the top down, an SLK350 is very fast and very fun. Oh, and he's also driven every AMG product (yes, CLK63 Black Series and SL65 Black Series included) except the SLS, which he has probably driven by now. -Leadfoot
  24. That's a GameStop box dummy, right? :oook: Still cool to see a physical TDU2-related thing. :) -Leadfoot
  25. No! No! No! No! Just on the windows. :) -Leadfoot
