  1. This is awesome! We should start a "Find this car in Google Maps" game. :) I while back I found an Elise in streetview, but man, nice find with that Ferrari. :) EDIT: Found that Audi/Ferrari/Lambo dealer! Has an R8, Gallardo, and Bentley Continental GT in the windows! And the F430 outside the Porsche dealer. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  2. Could've had nVidia adjustments, or resized. :) -Leadfoot
  3. Awesome Lancer rally skin! And nice 550 drift shots. :) -Leadfoot
  4. :) People mocked, but I always kinda' liked this car. Thanks for making it! -Leadfoot
  5. Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged (the one with the monster wing). :) -Leadfoot
  6. Did anyone guess LP670? :) -Leadfoot
  7. Welcome to TDU:C! In the future, try not to double post; its the rules, sorry. Anyway, are you running as an administrator? Sometimes that stop things from loading... -Leadfoot
  8. Glad everyone liked the video! :) I'll try to make this month's just as good! -Leadfoot
  9. Whoa! This one's a beauty! DL'ing now, really impressive. :) -Leadfoot
  10. HAHA! Awesome! Can't wait! EDIT: Oh, and for the size thing, I'm sure you could just release it in parts on Fileplanet or something. :) -Leadfoot
  11. Was that a clue? :cheeky: Is it from a single-make game? There aren't many of those, and the Ferrari game doesn't have any 6.5L cars... Must find more... This is tough! :) -Leadfoot
  12. Is it a direct conversion, or is it modified slightly? And is it from a "new" game, or an older one? Now I'm starting to get intrigued... :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  13. Hmm... I thought DBS originally, but that would be a 6.0 liter ( :( ). Hmm.... FXX is a 6.3, according to Wikipedia. I always thought it was a 6.5, though. It's not the SL65 either, because that's a 6-liter. Is it a model from Shift? EDIT: I'm just guessing, but I'd say that would be way to difficult, because it would involve moving the placement of the HUD's gauges. One solution would be, with the Motecs, to something like this: -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -Leadfoot
  14. Congratulations, Tool831! The October 2009 Car of the Month is the Bugatti Veyron 16.4! :) As I said earlier, I have made a 1:30 video showing off this impressive mod. I will be doing this as the "prize" for each of the COTM competitions. :) Congratulations again to Tool, and I will create the poll for the November Car of the Month on December 1. Thanks again for the exceptional turnout. :) -Leadfoot
  15. Sorry for the misunderstanding. They're good models - can't wait to see another "completely new" (new slot) car. :) -Leadfoot
  16. Do a camera swap with Djey's Modding Tools. Use the RS4's camera. :) -Leadfoot
  17. If you've been checking OahuCars-Unlimited.com, you'll have known that they've been at the exact same point for about the past four months. No progress so to speak of. Their good models, but they should be at the point where they're being imported into TDU by now... Good luck with finishing them up! :) -Leadfoot
  18. Glad you guys like the idea! The winner will receive recognition by having their car in a minute-and-a-half video highlighting the car (it'll be worth it, you'll see). I'll announce the winner on the 25. It was supposed to have ended on the 11/20, but I guess I set the poll wrong... -Leadfoot
  19. Performance editing? Anything special for online players, too? And what changes do you plan to make for offline players? -Leadfoot
  20. The concept here is pretty simple. Everyone lists cars that no one really thinks about, but are actually good-looking cars. :) I'll start with some of these: Subaru Legacy Wagon - Actually not a bad looking car. A family member of mine has one, and it looks pretty good in real life. Perhaps not from the angle in this picture, but in real life... Ford Taurus SHO - Saw one of these today (not sure if it was the SHO model, but it was a specced-up one), and they look pretty cool. It was parked next to a Subaru WRX, and it looked really futuristic compared to the "commonly styled" WRX. BMW M3 Sedan - Tons of people criticize the standard 3-series for being Bangled, and from two angles (front/quarter while understeering, for example) the M3 Coupe looks kinda' weird. However, the sedan is amazingly both simple and complex; the hood bulge, the flowing lines, the clean shape. One of my favorite looking cars. :) Subaru Impreza STI (2009) - Back to Subaru, for a more controversial one this time. Living in a snowy area, I see Subaru's all the time (dozens per day), and I see a bunch of STIs, too. And I must say, in real life, this is a pretty good-looking car. A few messy lines, but with the multi-spoke gold wheels and WRC Mica Blue paint, this thing does look good. :) Well, that's it for now. Any "surprisingly good looking" cars you know of? -Leadfoot
  21. Wow, nice job. :) Take your time with it, its worth it. :) -Leadfoot
  22. I believe (and hope) he was being sarcastic. This car seems like it needs a rust texture; not really sure why, it just seems like it should have spots of rust. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  23. Wow! REALLY nice work! :) Like the NFSHP2 music. ;) -Leadfoot
  24. YES! Thank you so much! This is fantastic! :) Downloading now. Thanks for putting it on Filefront, btw. :) -Leadfoot
  25. LOL, Bugatti is in second, too. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
